Picks up at the end of OotP. Dumbledore has a secret: Harry isn't the only one who is destined to play an integral role in the Last Battle.

Harry arrives at the Burrow. Hermione wakes up in Malfoy Manor.

Lucius orders Draco to fulfill the obligations of his initiation. Will Draco obey the commands or risk losing everything?

With Lucius dead, Hermione is left alone with a very stunned Draco. Someone is coming... is is the Ministry or more Death Eaters?

Hermione is taken to St. Mungo's and has a visitor. Ron is beside himself with worry at the Burrow. Meanwhile news of the kidnapping and subsequent arrest of Draco is spreading.

Draco is taken through the Ministry by Fudge. Fudge has his own plans for the young heir, but what will Dumbledore say to them?

Harry, Ron, and Ginny visit Hermione at St. Mungo's. While her friends are visiting, Hermione receives word that she will be required to testify at Draco's hearing.

The day of the hearing has arrived and Draco is forced to relive the morning of his father's death again through his and Hermione's testimony.

After the hearing things start to return to normality, but Hermione is only putting off dealing with the emotions she's feeling in the aftermath of all that has happened. When she returns to school will she finally be ready to face her demons? Will she finally be ready to face Draco Malfoy?

Draco confronts Hermione in the Library after the Feast. The harsh reality of their situation settles upon them heavily.

The term starts and with it comes all sorts of realizations and problems... Draco must face the reality of his parentage while Hermione battles over her need to keep Malfoy's secrets. No one is happy.

After their fight, both Harry and Hermione deal with the repurcussions...

Draco recieves a very telling letter... and its contents are far from good news.

Ginny confronts Harry... to disastrous results. Draco and Hermione battle the rising tide of emotion and the harsh reality of the letter.

We find out how Harry knew where Hermione and Malfoy were in the last chapter... And Hermione and Draco have revelations of their own.

Dumbledore imparts startling news when Draco and Hermione confront him about the letter.

The first part is a retelling of Chapter Sixteen, this time from Hermione's point of view. Harry confides the information of his prophecy to Ginny.

Draco tries to gain Hermione's forgiveness but things don't go as he planned. The Quidditch Match between Gryffindor and Slytherin ends with disastrous results.

Draco and Harry are both in the Hospital Wing after the Quidditch match. Draco challenges Harry to see Ginny in a new light, while Ginny and Hermione both have realizations of their own.

Draco and Harry discuss their individual prophecies with the help of Hermione, Ginny, and Ron. They don't make much headway...

Harry tells Hermione what Draco wanted to talk to him about in the Room of Requirement.

Hermione confronts Draco about the Protection Charm.

Hermione helps Ginny and Luna study for their O.W.L.s. Conversation turns to less studious topics after Draco makes an appearance.
