Author's Note:
This was submitted on Mother's Day, so if it's up late, well, that's why. I'd like to dedicate this fic to MY mom, because today is her special day. Happy Mother's Day Mom!

Long after the times of Voldemort, and the Boy who lived are we now. Yes, they are all dead, that era having passed. But now we join Harry, in the land of endless happiness, where he can finally see his parents.

Harry walked in the door, "Mum, Dad! I'm home!"

"Harry! How was school?" Lily Potter asked her son.

"Great, Ron and Hermione and I had a great time."

"That's wonderful."

"Yeah, but now I got some homework, so I'll be up in my room if you need me."

Harry rushed up the stairs and into his bedroom. I love heaven. I can see my friends, my parents, and no Voldemort. He thought happily.

Even though he was dead, passed on, whatever, he now had the best life possible. He'd almost think heaven on Earth, but he'd known better. Harry was the happiest, erm, thing, um, dead.

Now I have my parents. If only they were with me on Earth, life would have been much better. I could never give my mum a Mother's Day or a birthday present then, but now I can. Uh-oh. Mother's Day.

Harry rushed down the stairs, "See you Mum. I'm going out for a bit."

"Okay... what about that homework!" she yelled at his retreating figure, but then smiled. That Harry.

"Hermone! Ron! Come with me!"

"Why Harry?" they both asked at the same time.

"I forgot to get my mum a Mother's Day present," Harry explained.

"Harry, how can you be so forgetful?" Hermione chided.

"Cripes Harry! I forgot too!" Ron said frantically.

"Boys!" Hermione rolled her eyes.

"Well Hermione, since you're a girl, can you help us pick out a gift for our mum's?" Harry pleaded.

"Of course. I'm your friend, I'm here to help, no matter how thick you guys can be."

"Thank you!"

Harry, Ron and Hermione were looking through some clothing racks. Pulling random things off the shelves. Sometimes they were serious, other times they were joking.

"Hey Harry!" Ron yelled, "D'you think your mum would like this?" He held up a hot pink wool sweater.

"Oh my Gosh Ron! You hit the jackpot."

They both fell to the floor in a fit of giggles.

"You boys need to get serious, Harry's mum wouldn't want that," Hermione said, "She'd want this." She put on a hideous neon green, blue and orange sun hat.

"Ewww!" Then they all collapsed

After three hours of shopping they finally found the right things. Harry got his mum a light, sky blue tank top with matching shorts. Hermione also picked out a green hat that she said 'would accent his mum's eyes.'

Ron bought his mum a light pink sundress with yellow flowers on it, and a straw hat with yellow flowers entwined through it.

They stopped for ice cream.

"Well, with such short notice, I'd say that went very well," Hermione said absently.

"Nah, Harry and I could have done it anyways," Ron replied.

With that Harry guwaffed and almost choked on his ice cream, "Yeah right Ron!" Hack. Hack, "With out Hermione's help I might have actually bought that hot pink sweater," Cough. Cough, "And I could definitely see you handing your mum that bright blue, green and orange hat."

That sent all of them cracking up. After the ice cream, Ron and Harry took Hermione home and then went their separate ways.

"Happy Mother's Day!" Harry yelled, that Sunday morning. Then he took out his present and handed it to his mum.

"Harry! You didn't have to do this!" Lily said to her son. Harry had made her breakfast in bed, then given her his gift.

"Yeah Harry, you make me proud to be your dad. I think you spoil your mum too much. I can't wait 'till Father's Day," James Potter said to his son.

"Ha ha Dad. I'll do this for you too. And Mum, you mean so much to me. This is the least I can do."

Lily opened her present, "Oh Harry! This is wonderful! Thank you. Oh, I must go try it on."

With that, Lily hopped up and went into the bathroom to try on her new outfit.

"Son, I must say I'm proud of you, treating your mother like this. She is truly happy," James eyes sparkled.

"As long as I'm with you guys, I will be too."
