I am so sorry this chapter took so long. Like I say, I am busy with school work so I am going to 'slowly drag my time'. *Feeling sorry*.

Two days passed without incident and Draco hadn’t even seen Ginny. He didn’t realize how much he missed her until he saw her walking along the corridor with Colin. His heart sank as he noticed how Ginny’s face brightened up as Colin spoke to her. She looked so carefree, so relaxed with Creevey. The moment Ginny saw Draco looking at her, she motioned Colin and they turned and walked off to the other side.
“Ooh. Whose owl is that? So adorable...” Ginny fawned as Pix came flying toward her. Calling to the bird, Draco grinned as Ginny’s face turned to awe. Draco untied the letter tied to the owl’s leg and Pix flew off, probably to the Owlery for his breakfast and a nap. Keeping the letter inside his cloak, he turned to look for Ginny but realized that she was long gone. Draco marched to the Great Hall for breakfast, opening the letter on the way.

Mr. Malfoy,
Please take note that your Occlumency lesson will begin tonight at seven o’clock exactly. I know that you have Quidditch practice and I have explained to the captain that you have other obligations. If you wish to, get a Pensieve from Professor Dumbledore. That’s all. I hope to see you punctually tonight.
Professor Snape

“Hey dude!” Goyle patted him friendly on the back. Stuffing the letter back safely inside his cloak, he smirked at his so-called ‘best friend’. Sure... Everyone thought that Goyle and Crabbe were his best friends and he was madly in love with Pansy. How sad it is that the truth is exactly the opposite of what people thought. It’s Crabbe and Goyle following him and calling him best mate without his approval. Lucius always thought that having the two huge guys as his son’s bodyguards would make Draco look smarter, but it only made Draco look silly. Pansy Parkinson - that hag - was in love with Draco, not the other way around. Rather, Pansy was in love with the Malfoy’s wealth. Ginny Weasley would never love him for his wealth and power. ‘That’s it... If she ever does love me...” Draco thought.
“Penny for your thoughts, Drakie?” Pansy came over and put her hand on his shoulder. Draco suppressed his urged to vomit. He hated Pansy calling him Drakie, not to mention that disgusting tone! Of course, things would be different if Ginny called him that.
“Nothing. Get your hands off my shoulder Pansy,” Draco snapped angrily. He stormed off to the Hall, wishing that his Occlumency lesson was worth hoping for.

”Sit, Mr. Malfoy.” Severus Snape motioned him to have a seat on the big armchair at the side of his office.
“This is a Pensieve. You can put the thoughts that you do not wish me to find out inside by the means of your wand.” Snape gave him a basin-like thing.
“Erm...Ok” Draco took the Pensieve gratefully and, taking out his wand, he pulled a twirling, silvery misty thing out of his mind. His thought. He dipped it lightly into the Pensieve and the face of Ginny started swirling about. He looked up guiltily and saw Snape watching Ginny’s face. ‘Oops,’ Draco thought.
“Excuse me, Mr. Malfoy.” Snape remarked.
“It’s alright, I guess. I’m done.” Draco stood up, prepared for whatever Snape might throw at him.
“Ok. Wand at ready. I will try to force through your mind and you must defend yourself against me, understood?”
Nodding, Draco prepared himself.
“Ok? One, two, three. Legillmens!” Snape shouted.
'No… Too soon’ Draco thought as the office became blurred. He saw himself, about 6. His father was slapping him hard. He saw himself attending the Death-Eaters’ meeting, him taking the oath, the burning sensation of the Mark burnt on his skin. ‘No... No...” he thought as he try to force Snape out. The visions started blurring. He could only catch glimpse of himself.
“Expelliarmus!” Draco yelled. Green lights flashed as Snape was thrown backwards. Picking himself up, Snape grinned slightly.
“I see your Occlumency skills are better than Potter. You seem tired. We shall continue with this one week later. I want you to practice. Clear yourself of all emotion. Think of nothing. It is only then that you will be able to propel forces naturally without the use of your wand.” Snape opened the office door and Draco left.

Draco felt tired nowadays. He had been practicing blocking out his mind every other night and he had so much homework. Professor McGonagall had given the Slytherins 4 spells to practice on and Draco had a Potions essay to be handed in tomorrow. Glancing at the messiness of his table and the whole stacks of work to be done, he felt that he need a breather and left his dorm.

Glancing around to make sure no one saw him, he hurried to the Whomping Willow. He once saw Harry Potter going into it by pressing the knot. It led right to Hogsmeade through the Shrieking Shack. It was hard, and Draco had to prod the knot with the long stick he had kept. He pressed the knot of the Whomping Willow and went into the tunnel. He knew that the Shrieking Shack was not at all haunted. Professor Snape told the whole Slytherins that it was that Lupin werewolf who made the ‘haunting’. Come to think of it, that werewolf was in the Order too! Draco already knew this before he joined the Order. Peter Pettigrew had given the Dark Lord plenty of information to worm out of his punishments. Sirius Black can turn into a black dog. Lupin is a werewolf, and to destroy him just attack his weakest point - his neck. Draco reminded himself to let Dumbledore know of these. Peering down the tunnel, he wondered if he should do it. It didn’t feel quite right, breaking rules. ‘Damn it.’ he thought. Draco had never thought before breaking rules. After all, rules are meant to be broken. Sliding down the tunnel, he saw darkness before bright light came to view.
“Ah. Shrieking Shack” Draco let out a deep breath and exhaled. Inside the Shack was his favourite armchair. True enough, it was moth-eaten and battered but it is still his favourite chair. He spent his worst and saddest days in Hogwarts on this chair, since his third year. He enjoyed the quietness in the Shack. Sometimes when he needed to cool off, he will come here and think things through carefully. It worked best and he practically owed that place. Draco was somewhat thankful to the Saint Potter for showing him this place, though he had no idea he’d done so. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the peacefulness as he napped on.

“Ginny, what time will you be free tomorrow?” her best friend, Colin asked.
“Around ten. I have Quidditch practice till nine. Why do you ask?” Ginny asked.
“Well... You’ll find tonight. Meet you at the fountain. See you later!” Colin said and rushed off. Ginny stared after him and then walked off to the Astronomy Tower.

Draco heard what Colin told Ginny. Why on earth would that photo-taking freak ask Ginny out at night? He decided to hide behind the oak tree at the side of the fountain tonight to find out.

Ginny sighed in frustration. Colin asked her to meet him here at ten and now it’s almost eleven. Colin was never late, but now he was nowhere to be seen. An owl flew past her, dropping a letter on her lap.

Gin,
Sorry but I can’t come tonight. Professor Sprout wanted me to be in the Greenhouse and clean up the pots as my detention. I didn’t knew I had to do my detention tonight till Professor Sprout came looking for me as I was coming down. I must have missed the letter. Anyway I told Junior (owl) to find you before you left. Sorry again.
Yours truely,
Colin

Sighing, Ginny threw the letter into the water and left.

Draco went over to the fountain after seeing her leave. He picked up the soggy piece of parchment and wrinkled his nose in disgust. Draco saw something glittering at the grass patch. It was a diamond bracelet, shining under the moonlight. He picked it up and grinned to himself. Ginny Weasley have a habit of losing things while he had the addiction of picking up what she had lost.
“Hey! Isn’t that my bracelet?” Startled, Draco turned around and saw Ginny, hands on her hips.
“Yeah. I just picked it up for you. I guess you owe me a thanks.” Draco smirked slightly. It was hard acting tough in front of his dream girl.
“Whatever. Thanks.” Ginny took the bracelet from him and held it like it was a treasure. She twirled around and started to make her way back.
“Wait, Ginny!” Draco shouted.
“What? And since when did I change from Weaslette to Ginny?” Ginny was annoyed. It was late and if the great Slytherin Prince didn’t let her go, she was going to join Colin in his week of detention.
Draco took a step forward and he slipped, holding his hands out to balance him therefore pushing down Ginny. Ginny laid on the grass with Draco on top of her. Unexpectedly, miraculously, Draco was kissing her.
‘God!’ Draco thought. ‘Is Ginny under me? Am I kissing her?’ He fought the urge to continue but he still struggled to get himself up. It was difficult because the floor was wet. Meanwhile, Ginny’s heart was throbbing very fast. She felt like it was going to jump out of her mouth. She could do nothing except to kiss Draco Malfoy back...
