- I hope you enjoy this. It's my first finished effort of the slash kind. Reviews are very much appreciated. Thanks ever so much to my betas; you guys rock!
I used to hate you. You were nothing but a pain in my backside. I was raised to hate you.
But something changed inside me. You too. Maybe I didn't hate. Maybe I admired.
Admired your sleek body. The way you gently pushed aside a lock of hair from your beautiful face, so that everyone could see the gleam in your emerald eyes.
After a while I knew that my admiration had turned into something else. Something forbidden. Something Malfoys don't love. But damn you, you made feel. And as I adjusted to being something besides a cold-hearted bastard, I realized that I did love you. And I wanted nothing more than you, forever.
It took me a month to work up the courage to confess. Sometimes I wonder if I should have taken a different approach. You didn't seem too happy when you found out it was me who cast the spell to break your bag. But you have no idea how happy I was to see you tell your friends to go ahead to dinner while you picked up your stuff and put it back in your dorm. I kept carefully hidden until they turned the corner. When I stepped out my heart was pained, as you shot a death glare at me. I cringed but continued on.
"GO away Malfoy, I don't need your sarcastic remarks. I am already to pissed off. As you can see, my bag broke and I'm going to be late for dinner."
"Can I help you?" You looked at me as if I had grown an extra head.
"And why would you do that?" and without thinking I replied.
"Well, I did cast the spell to break your bag." I quickly put a hand over my mouth. I winced as you grew red and your eyes contained a fury directed only at me.
"Why the hell did you do that?!" you asked, obviously trying to keep out of trouble. 'Because I love you' was too blunt, and I wasn't about to say anything negative. I had learned that annoying you wasn't the best way to have a civil conversation. So I did the only think I could think of. I took a few steps and softly placed my lips over yours.
Normal people would have described it as bliss. But not me. As soon as our lips touch, and your warmth spread through my cold body, the only thing I could think of was 'cookie.'
When I eat cookies, I get ecstatic. I roll the sweetness around with my tongue, enjoying something so simple, yet so delicious. Sometimes I get the cookie stuck on the bottom of my teeth, and if I don't clean it off right away, people might actually see me glow from the remembrance. Once I have a cookie, I can't stop eating them.
And when you kissed back, I knew that you were my cookie, and I never wanted anything but you the rest of my life. You gave me the greatest pleasure I could have ever dreamed.
When I told you that, you laughed. I did too. You said I couldn't try to bite you like a cookie.
I can't promise you that.
Author notes: Ok, that's it. *hides* Don't hurt me if you didn't enjoy it.
