Seamus meets a new girl, Isabella Giordano. She?s beautiful, clever and Italian, but she?s also a Slytherin. Seamus dislikes her, but then he meets another new arrival, Callista Diotrephes, a Cyprian beauty in Gryffindor. At first it?s painfully obvious that Callista?s the right girl for him, but then he has a chance meeting with Isabella in the corridor...

Seamus begins to prepare to ask out Callista. However a huge fight with Isabella in the corridors drives it out of his mind, until he realises the next Hogsmeade weekend is on Valentines Day. Dean's home-made dumplings lead Seamus and Callista to the Hospital Wing, where he finally plucks up the courage to ask Callista out. But will she say yes?

Seamus discovers Blaise Zabini has a crush on Isabella, and accidentally knocks a bookshelf on to a load of Slytherins, including a Slytherin Beater. Then he goes on his date, but is distracted...

Introduces a new character! Avalon's Isabella's sister, and Seamus quite takes to her.

Seamus and Isabella meet after dark, and end up having a walk and a blazing row. But whilst Seamus is angry, Isabella is thinking and she realises something she's never realised before.
