Charles Chandler and the Staff of Fury

This is primarily an original character fic, with some appearances by characters from the book. The story centers around Charles Chandler, a half blood whose identity as a wizard was hidden fro mhim by his parents. When he gets his letter from Hogwarts, he is suddenly thrust into this new world. First part is mostly introduction.

Now that Charles has his letter, he has to go get his school supplies. See him get all sorts of unique items, buy intersting pets, run into people

Schools is starting for Charles Chandler. Now he has to make a huge switch from the life he was used to, to going to Hogwarts. Will he fo well in his classes, will he make friends, will he make the train? All that and a cute puppy to boot.

Charles makes it to Hogwarts, and faces the daunting task of being sorted. Since his name is alphabetically near the top, he gets sorted first and then must wait to see where he ends up. All new sorting hat song! Whee!

After Charles and his new friends get settled, something disturbing is happening at a nearby museum. With only one guard watching, mayhem breaks out. ACTION! ADVENTURE! INVOLUNTARILY FLYING WIZARDS!

Life continues for Charles and his Ravenclaw mates. But up ahead, there are Flying Lessons looming. All of the others are eager for their chance to fly, but Charles has a phobia of falling from heights...
