Whatever You Will

By: Seraphanie_Azure

"Look at me," said Hermione. "Don't you think I deserve something better?"

"Yes..."said Ron, uncertainly. They were old enough to know better and too young to care...

"Then let's do something about it," she breathed in his ear. She kissed him lightly just below his ear, making him feel worthless, the way he always felt around her. He gave in, taking her into his arms, clutching her to him as if she were drowning and he was saving her, and in a way he was. They couldn't go forever without saying anything of how they felt...they had tried many times before, but never had he given in to this temptation. There was something about today, though, that made him think that this was it.

She took the blade from beside the bed and sliced open a place on her collarbone, making the crimson flood out of her. Ron reluctantly placed his lips open over her wound and licked all of the blood up, as Hermione shivered in pain and pleasure. Oddly enough, he too was enjoying this masochistic display of affection...and then she started kissing him so hard he thought she was bruising his lips with her eagerness. She bit at his neck with her sharp canine teeth, leaving her bruises of love there. Panting, he kissed her hair, her closed eyes, her nose, her mouth...her mouth over and over again...

"Ron...kiss me here..." She directed him to a place where he had never been before...and frankly a place where he had been so often in his dreams that he knew precisely what to do. She grew hot in his embrace, where he was working as hard as he could to make her his forever, or at least until someone caught them...as they had done so many times before...when she started gasping for breath and shaking like a leaf in the wind, he stopped and began kissing her back and her neck, leaving his own bruises.

She started moving her hands all over him, finally concentrating on one place. The atmosphere around them started to boil over...perspiration was seeping out of both their pores, melding them together like they were one...

If anyone had asked Ron how he would spend his last day on Earth, doing anything he possibly could, this is what he would do...spend his last day alive with Hermione doing exactly as they were doing now. The ache that had filled his very soul since the day he realized he loved her unconditionally (the day he and Harry had discovered that she had been petrified in their second year) was screaming out of every place on his body and in it...his heart, his mind, his eyes, his fingertips, the very edges of his being...

Hermione's ache was of a different sort. She loved Ron, and had always loved him. There was a time when she thought that love was impossible between them, but all of that changed when she caught him looking at her one day; a not-so-very special day, just a normal one. They had been in History of Magic, and nearly the entire class was asleep, except her and Ron. Harry was losing his normal "I am really awake" look, his head dropping on his desk. She was at least paying attention, while Ron was fiddling around with something in his notebook. Then, she realized that he was staring at her. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed that there was something in his eyes that had never been there before whenever he looked at her. She knew then that no matter how long it took for him to admit it, he loved her. Here they were together, making their own lives stretch out until the breaking point, the time when everything seems perfect until the release happens.

Ron and Hermione emerged from the prefect's bathroom damp and shaking. Ron grabbed her before they walked up to the portrait-hole, kissed her and whispered "I love you so much...Hermione, you are the only person I've ever loved like this."

She kissed him back, looking lovingly in his eyes. "I know...and I haven't either."
