Author's Note:
Narcissa madien name is Delmonte and she's in Slytherin. Lily's madien name is Evans and she's in Gryffindor.

I remember it like it was yesterday. It's hard not to, everything about her was hard to forget. I guess that's what makes her stand out. I guess that's why I fell in love with her. It makes sense in a way. In another way it doesn't. She's so complex. You think you know her but, you really don't. I don't think anyone actually knows her. It's sad, but true. She doesn't trust anyone. She trusted me once. But I broke her trust. I never did regain it. I never had the chance. I never had the time. I never had the heart. She wasn't the same afterwards. She knew I broke her trust. I knew it too. The worse part was I didn't feel bad about it. No feelings came to me. Not even remorse. Perhaps, I had fallen to far for it. Perhaps it was too late for me. I never stopped loving her. A part of me always will. People say you should never trust your first love. Well not exactly but, it was as pure.

We were sweethearts in summer, lovers by fall

That's what we were until everything fell apart. All around us, we didn't see it coming it kind of snuck up on us. Like love sometimes does. It was sad state of affairs, really. It seemed that our love wasn't meant to endure. Like our relationship wasn't meant to last. I thought for sure that it would. Where did we go wrong? Was it fate's plan for this to happen? Or was it done purely on accident? I may never know. Was it a fault of mine? Or perhaps a fault of hers? It couldn't have been. It was never her fault. I don't think it ever could have been. On the inside I was really in charge, but on the outside it appear to be her. Why was it like that? Why did she have to come and destroy it all? She didn't seem to be a destroyer. But looks can be deceiving. This was certainly true. She tore us apart. Not only that, she took her place.

I know spring follows winter, then it's summer again

But I don't think that we'll ever be friends

The sun rose above the clouds to the noon point, where it could filter the school grounds with all its sunlight. The sunlight would seem to cover all the school grounds. That was another little thing about Hogwarts that I happened to know about. There aren't many things I don't know about. How could there be, when your Lily Evans.

Lily Evans walked down the gravel path to the section of willow trees. The willow trees were massive things that leaned over, providing shade on those warm days in June, when the heat was unbearable. The path was covered in weeds and the gravel was uneven, so that it shifted under her feet as she walked. Lily took in her surrounding, stopping at the biggest willow tree. Leaning to touch the white bark with her with her warm, pale hand with oval shaped nails.

"The wood my wand is made of," thought Lily softly. Taking her wand from her pocket and stroking it softly.

A twig snapped making Lily whirl around, looking for the sudden intruder. Lily's vibrant and innocent emerald green eyes locked into those piercingly cold, icy blue eyes.

The blazing sunrays enhanced beautiful fair features. Her long wispy pale blond hair blew in her face framing its sharp angles. She had pale skin and slender form, which was covered by her black robe. Just above her left breast was an emblem. A green emblem. In it, there was a gold H` with an serpent on it.

Lily looked down at her black robe, which had a scarlet emblem with an lion on it.

"Lily Evans, fancy meeting you here."

Lily glared at the Slytherin girl, "What do you want. Your group has had their fun. Now, I like to die in peace."

"You're not going to die and I've come to talk about the incident," replied the girl.

"Narcissa," Lily started "I'm trying to forget what happen to me."

"Where are you going to find comfort?" Narcissa questioned Lily.

"It doesn't matter anymore Narcissa," explained Lily sadly.

"It does, because someone wants to comfort you but your ignoring this person." Narcissa finished.

"Then I've been fooled," said Lily "because I'm oblivious to this person you speak of."

"You're looking at her."

"Excuse me?" Lily replied shocked.

"Why are you doing this."

"I'm different than the people in my house and I promise you that."

"Promise me?" asked Lily.

"I do."
