I know where I am going now. I have decided on Godric's Hollow to start my search for my true love. It is where Harry went when he first left me, when he told me he had to leave me, because of love. Letting him go is still my greatest folly.

Luck may have it that he returned to Godric's Hollow. Either way, I feel I must visit his parents' grave to answer a dire question: do they approve of me?

~ * ~

Here I am, at Godric's Hollow. The place Harry met his enemy for the first time. The place where the first person ever to deflect Avada Kedavra caused the downfall of the most evil wizard to ever live. I get shivers just thinking about it. I shall head to the graveyard... here it is. And there is Harry's parents' tombstone. 'Lily and James Potter, joined in death as in life.' How I wish Harry and I could be like that! Joined forever in life and death, that would be bliss. But look! There are fresh flowers lying on the tombstone. Liles left only a few days ago, by the look of them. Liles are such pretty flowers. And look over there... more lilies! They look much older, apparently from about the time Harry left me. He must have been here recently.

Running into town is a tough task, especially for one as weak and not used to physical exertion as I. Yet, there it is, the little sign, 'Welcome to Godric's Hollow.' Does that refer to Godric Gryffindor? I've never thought about that before. I am getting strange looks, of that I am well aware. The flower shop is just ahead. 'Very Important Pansies: Specializing in Special Occasions.' How cheesy, although quite fitting.

"Did a young man buy lilies here recently?" My voice sounds so feeble. I should use it more often.

"Many young men buy flowers here." The reply comes from a slim old man with a grisly voice. "Be more specific!" His voice is like a dog's bark.

"A young man." I must think how to explain Harry to this Muggle. "A young man with untidy black hair, emerald green eyes, and a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead. He bought three lilies."

The man is thinking, and so am I. Why three? One for Harry, one for his Mum, and one for his Dad? Or one for him, one for Hermione, and one for his unborn child...? I need to stop being so paranoid.

"Yeah, I recall such a feller." The old man's eyes have a sickly glow. They almost look red. But my reverie is broken, and I must continue speaking.

"Did..." I'm having trouble stringing the words together. "Did he say where he was going?"

"He might've." The old one is eyeing me now. I notice his eyes again. They have a strange look, like he wants something from me. A bribe, perhaps?

"How much do you want for the information?" I'm nervous now. I'm shaky all over. This guy is just plain and simple creepy.

"Information's free, sweetie." His eyes glitter. "If you buy a flower."

I feel so relieved. "One rose, and one..." I contemplate my decision. "Actually, two roses, one red and one yellow."

"Good choice, Miss." He smiles, showing disgusting yellow teeth. I give him my money, and now I hold the roses. But I'm still worried.

"Did he say anything?" I'm stepping cautiously now.

"Yes. Wondered aloud whether his stupid broomstick would get him to Diagon Alley or not." I hope this old Muggle has no idea what that means.

"Thank you." That's all I can manage to stutter out. I feel myself pulled towards the door like a magnet, and now I hear my shoes hit the crunchy gravel. As I distance myself from the shop, I hear his voice call out,

"No, thank YOU."
