Our Aurors found these a few months ago in Grindelwald's possession. So far we've been unable to decipher anything but the name pertaining to these files. They are believed to be important, as several muggle officials have mentioned them during the time since they have been captured. Perhaps they are scientific? Their project name, Mutare, suggests that they might be. Thought that your experts might have better luck figuring them out. Please inform us of any relevant progress.

What exactly is this stuff you've sent us? It's unlike anything we've had before; it bears no real resemblance to any language or code any of us here in Linguistics have ever seen before. Has anything else been sent from Germany about it? We'll need all the help we can get on this 'Project Mutare'. We're still working on it though, perhaps one of us will be struck by divine revelation and be able to figure out what it all means.

Project Mutare - a number of files found in Grindelwald's possession, sent over from Germany after his fall - has been translated.

Context is of a scientific nature; refers to genetic determination and enhancement of wizarding abilities (re: breach in Law passed by the International Confederation of Wizards in 1673). Mutare also refers to several persons, both muggles and wizards, in terms of them carrying out experiments described in files.

Request advice on how to proceed.

All but four persons in Mutare have been procured and analysed. Consensus is that persons were Obliviated of all knowledge of Mutare before our arrival. Possibly done by Grindelwald after files were discovered to be missing. Four persons not procured are all missing presumed dead. Conclusion; knowledge of Mutare is safely contained. However information on missing persons is attached in case of reappearance; if so, suggest top priority is given to their capture, as all are wanted by Ministries in relation to War Crimes committed during the Grindelwald crisis.

Contacts reporting that there are stirrings in Knockturn Alley et al. Reports that anti-muggle/muggle-born sentiments are rising once more. No persons named specifically, so these reports are difficult to follow up. Instigator of these sentiments possibly called 'Voldemort'. Suggest a tag is kept on this name in case of any future situations, but for now danger seems minimal.

Curse breaker report came in yesterday re: 'dark' mark left above body on Tuesday. New spell; it is still being deciphered, should be figured out by 21/3 at latest.

Pieter and Lena Shapal sighted at Floo Hub, entering England. Attempted tracking but lost pair as they used an unregistered Portkey to escape. Residuals of Portkey led to a position near the town of Little Hangleton but further positioning was not successful.

Ministry Employee Reported Missing

The Head of the Linguistics Department at the Ministry, Anchusa Aderis, was reported missing and at large last night. Wanted in connection with the disappearance of several highly classified documents, the public is asked to keep a lookout for this woman who's picture can be seen to the left of this article. Concerned co-workers first became aware of their boss' absence after she failed to return after a brief holiday taken due to 'familial' matters. Her boss, Harold Stubb of the Department of International Cooperation, described this as 'odd, as Anchusa was a life-long spinster with few relatives to speak of.' The Ministry promises a reward to anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Miss Aderis or of the files she is rumoured to have taken.
