Hello everybody,

Side dish

Draco woke up with a comfortable weight wrapped in his arms - a comfortable weight?! What! He scurried back from the lump in a hurry; only the top of her head was visible underneath the covers, obscuring her face. Slightly panicked, he slowly reached a hand to the covers, it's not what it looks like, I didn't do anything! echoed in his mind; how was he ever going to explain to Virginia? He pulled back the covers and stared at the sleeping girl beside him, who snuggled closer at the lost warmth.

"Virginia?" he whispered in disbelief. He stared down at her sleeping profile. Her hair was tussled and spread out across the pillow, her pale skin standing out against the dark bed covers. Her mouth formed a small contented smile as she snuggled closer and threw her arm around his waist.

Her actions had thrown off the covers so that they rested near her stomach; with a slight grin, Draco reached out for them but paused in mid reach. Tracing the bare skin of her arm all the way to her shoulder, across her collar bone to her throat and directly south - Draco felt himself swallow audibly. The sleeping girl next to him was wearing nothing but a white satin slip that allowed him a very unobstructed view of her cleavage.

Hastily, he covered her back up and sat, leaning again the headboards, waiting for his heartbeat to calm. This task was rendered impossible when Virginia scissored his legs with hers, her knee just below a certain part of his anatomy, which began to stir beneath his boxers.

Thinking he wouldn't be able to get any sleep without getting her back to her own dorm, Draco shook her shoulder slightly to wake her up.

"Draco?" she murmured sleepily.

"Er Virginia, what are you doing...on my er, bed?" he asked, trying not to gulp when she sat up, one strap of her slip falling off her shoulder.

"I wanted to sleep with you," she said with a faint pout, drawing her arms around his waist and resting her head on his chest.

Sleep with you, sleep with you, sleep with you...The words echoed in Draco's head and he silently reprimanded himself. You prat, what are you thinking? She meant just sleeping, not...But he quickly stopped that train of thought, his boxers were beginning to feel strained again.

"But you should really go back to Gryffindor Tower, your brothers will be worried about you," he managed to choke out.

"Don't wanna," she argued, rubbing her eyes. He could see the curves of the slip as they ran over her chest and he could feel his pulse beginning to race.

Unable to think clearly, he pushed her onto the bed, holding her wrists above her head. Breathing hard, he managed to focus on her face, her lips were in a pout, and he licked them hungrily. He kissed her hard, before moving down to her neck, leaving small bite marks against her smooth skin.

He let go of her wrists and practically tore her slip off her body, desperately capturing her lips once again. I'll stop if she says no, I'll stop...why isn't she protesting...have I hurt her...I don't want to stop...

Draco sat up in a daze, there was a tingling feeling running up his arm and his bed covers were twisted below his waist. He looked around him trying to regain his bearings; he was sitting on the floor.

"Must've fallen off the bed," he mumbled as he dragged himself up. He rubbed his elbow gingerly where he had hit his funny bone and fell back into bed. "It was a dream," he whispered to himself, remembering what had been running through his mind just minutes earlier. He could still feel the strain on his boxers, as he mentally slapped himself and rolled over, trying to go back to sleep.

It was entirely useless as Draco's mind kept wondering if she really did own such sexy sleepwear and whether he'd ever get to see her in something so revealing.

"I've had enough of this," he muttered angrily to himself. He got up and took a nice long, cold shower, before heading down to the Great Hall for breakfast.

Virginia joined him fifteen minutes later. She bounded happily into the Hall, and upon seeing him, walked over with a giant smile on her face.

"Morning, Malfoy!" she chirped, before sitting down and filling her plate. He forced himself not to stare at her chest as she piled food onto her dish, occasionally stealing some from Draco's plate.

"Do you own a white nightgown?" His eyes grew wide as the words he had just blurted out registered in his mind. "Never mind, don't answer that," he added quickly, before proceeding to eat his entire plate of food in one mouthful.

"Tomorrow's Saturday, do you want to have a picnic out by the lake for brunch?" Ginny asked. "I could go down to the kitchens and get some food. What do you want?" she continued, looking up at him expectantly.

He stared at her face in a daze; her smile was so sunny he could imagine himself being blinded by the dazzling whiteness of her teeth. He was snapped out of his reverie as she waved a hand in front of his face; staring blankly at her, he struggled to remember what she had just said.

"I'll eat anything you tell me to." Draco could have just taken the back of his collar and slammed himself into the nearest brick wall. What the hell had he just said!

Virginia giggled and gave him a light peck on the cheek. "You're so spoilt, fine, I'll make it a surprise then. See you tomorrow, at noon by the oak. I won't be here for dinner, I'm doing our History of Magic assignment with Sara and Melissa," she said, getting up and retrieving her book bag. She leaned over for him to kiss her before going to her first class for the morning.

Little did she know the blond she had left behind was back in his dream world, fantasizing about giving her much, much more, than a little chaste kiss on her cheek...

~~~
By the time classes had ended and everyone began to make their way down to dinner, Draco had calmed himself considerably - or so he thought.
"Draco, however have you managed classes with an erection like that?" Katherine asked him, pinching him lightly on the butt before coming to stride next to him.
Horrified, Draco looked down to check if what she said was true; everything was completely normal. Scowling darkly, he turned his gaze on the girl, glaring at her.
"How long has it been Draco? Doesn't your redheaded vixen satisfy you?" she asked calmly.
"Don't know what you're talking about," he snapped, trying hard not to blush.
"I don't need physical confirmation to know what you're thinking in that pretty blond head of yours Draco. I can tell," she said knowingly.
Resisting the urge to growl at her, he quickened his pace and sat down at the Slytherin table, ignoring Katherine's presence beside him. She continued to smirk at him in a knowing manner, annoying him more and more with each passing minute.
"I am not desperate!" he hissed finally, putting his fork down and reaching for his pumpkin juice.
"Mmhmm," Katherine replied offhandedly, spearing a potato with her fork.
"It's just that...I have needs, and yes I admit it's been a while okay? And will you stop that evil smirking!" he demanded of Katherine, who just grinned impishly at him and placed the potato into her mouth. "I cannot believe I'm pouring my heart out to you and you're just sitting there smirking at me!"
"And I can't believe Draco Malfoy, Sex God of Hogwarts, is having trouble getting a girl in bed with him," she retorted.
"She's different, I don't want to force her into anything she's not ready for, so excuse me for developing a sense of decency," he replied snappishly.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you were both acquainted with each other's bodies already," Katherine said with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, once! And I was drunk! What a lovely first time impression to leave on a girl," he muttered morosely, poking at his steak.
"Whipped," Katherine commented sadly, watching Draco's sulky expression.
~~~

He met Virginia on the steps outside Hogwarts, giving her a quick hug before taking the picnic basket from her hands. They made their way leisurely to the oak, Virginia walking in front with Draco behind her, checking out her rear.

Suddenly, she stopped and Draco froze behind her, thinking he had been caught. But she only reached down and took off her sandals, stepping onto the grass barefoot.

"It feels better like this," she explained over her shoulder, as she bounced along the soft grass.

Draco remained frozen in place, watching her skip along the grass, humming softly under her breath. Her hair was coming loose of the bun she had tied it in, and she hastily undid it, shaking her hair loose so that it fell around her face. She was wearing a tight sleeveless top and a soft cotton skirt, showing off her legs. Unconsciously, he reached out a hand toward her, wanting to feel her body against his -

"Ginny!" a voice shouted from behind them.

Draco recoiled his arm hastily as Ginny turned around to see who it was.

"Melissa, what's up?" she asked.

"Can I borrow your Potions homework? I'm having trouble with some of the questions," Melissa replied.

Draco meanwhile, had tuned out of their conversation and was staring at his hand. What had he meant to do before Melissa had interrupted? He was losing his mind; he groaned as he sat down on the grass, leaning against the oak tree and staring out at the lake.

"What are you thinking about?" a voice whispered in his ear. Draco stiffened as the warm breath tickled his neck, before turning around to look at Virginia. She gave him a smile and sat down beside him, unpacking the picnic basket.

Lunch turned out to be some cold turkey cuts and pasta for mains, a small container of strawberries with cream for dessert and some apple cider to drink. Draco managed through the turkey cuts, and would have made it through the pasta if only he hadn't looked up. Virginia was munching away on her pasta happily, oblivious to the spot of sauce smeared on the corner of her mouth.

"You've got sauce on your mouth," he informed her quietly. Smirking in amusement at her blind swipes at it, he leaned over toward her. "Here, let me do it," he offered, motioning for her to come closer.

As she leaned closer however, the napkin in his left hand was forgotten. He closed the last few inches between them and sealed his lips to the corner of her mouth, his tongue darting out to lick away the sauce.

"Malfoy," Ginny whispered, her eyes wide with surprise as she regarded him. He put his fingers to her lips and stared into her eyes.

"Draco," he corrected, his eyes a darker shade of gray than usual.

"Draco," she repeated, her lips gently brushing the tips of his fingers.

No more words were needed after that, as they both entwined their arms around each other, their lips meeting in a soft kiss. The gentleness did not last as she opened her mouth, inviting his tongue to deepen the kiss. Draco's mind was clouding over, his thoughts barely registering the way they were moaning into each other's mouths. Ending the kiss was the last thing on his mind as he felt two hands pushing him away. Surprised and a little annoyed, he moved back.

"Malfoy," Ginny began, but paused as he stared at her. "Draco," she amended. "Can you hear something?"

Unable to hear anything above the pounding of his own heart, Draco remained silent, wanting nothing more than to have her lips on his again. As he gradually calmed down, he began to hear faint moans coming from the bushes to the right. Frowning, he turned and crept over slowly, making sure to stay silent; the sight he was met with was, disturbing, to say the least. He made his way back hastily, unable to mask the disgust on his face.

"What is it?" Ginny asked, peering curiously behind him. Draco guessed she had also been greeted with the same scene; as a moment later, she recoiled hastily and sat there in shocked silence. Her eyes were wide and her hand was clapped to her mouth.

"Ewww," Ginny whispered as loudly as she dared, trying to get the disturbing scene from her mind. Draco nodded his agreement silently, before leaning his head back against the oak, a pained expression on his face.

"Hmm, you're very good for a Hufflepuff," came Blaise Zabini's muffled voice from behind the bushes.

Ginny and Draco grimaced, before Draco gestured for Ginny to pack up their lunch and move away. She nodded and hurriedly placed everything into the basket as loud pants and muffled groans pierced their ears.

By the time Draco and Ginny had relocated to the other side of the lake, they were both flushing madly, which Draco thought, was completely unfair considering it wasn't even them that had been making a scene.

Well at least Zabini is getting some, Draco thought bitterly as they spread out their half-eaten picnic. This thought only made him blush harder, and Draco refrained from that thought quickly.

"Want a strawberry?" Ginny asked him, offering him the container as she licked the cream off her own strawberry. Draco watched as her pink tongue darted out, caressing the tip of the strawberry before retreating into her wet mouth. "Mmm, yummy!" she exclaimed, grinning at him.

He looked away quickly, covering his lap with his cloak; he did not need another embarrassing scene right now. "Don't you want a strawberry?" Ginny asked, the hand holding the container still extended.

"Er, I don't like strawberries," he muttered in a low voice, keeping his eyes fixed on the blades of grass in front of him.

He saw her shrug out of the corner of his eye. "All the more for me then," she said happily, picking out another one from the container. It turned out to be impossible to keep his eyes away from her mouth, and even more impossible to watch, as she licked each strawberry clean of its cream before popping it into her mouth and giving out a satisfied 'mmm'.

He could barely restrain himself from tackling her onto the grass and snogging her senseless, especially when a trickle of juice trailed down her chin and her soft pink tongue came out to chase after it.

"Ginny," he said in a low growl, his eyes on her red lips, still wet from the strawberries.

"Hmm?" she managed to say, before he darted forward and pulled her toward him, pushing his tongue between her parted lips. He could taste the lingering sweetness of the cream and the slightly bitter taste of the strawberries she had been eating.

They fell back onto the grass, Draco lying half on top of her and brushing his lips across hers. "Just wanted to taste those strawberries," he murmured with a grin at her questioning glance.

"And did they taste good?" she asked, tracing his lips with her fingertip.

"Mmm, you have no idea," he whispered in her ear, before proceeding to nibble at her earlobe gently.

"Virginia Weasley! What are you doing with that - that slug, leeching off your ear!" Ron's voice echoed across the school grounds.

Draco looked up to see a towering redhead storming across the grass towards them, his face was so red that Draco was surprised there was no steam coming out of his ears. Potter and Granger were following close behind, making half-hearted attempts to restrain him while averting their eyes from the odd couple.

"We were having lunch," Draco drawled, leaning back on his elbows. "Is there a problem?"

"Problem? You're asking me if I have a problem with you doing...doing that to my sister? Of course I have a problem, you slimy git!"

"Ron! Mind your own business! Leave Draco and I alone, we were in the middle of something," Ginny interrupted, glaring at her older brother.

"Yeah Weasley, you heard the lady," Draco said with an amused smirk.

This only seemed to anger Ron all the more. "I will not have you snogging my sister in the middle of Hogwarts where everyone can see you!" he bellowed in outrage, with Harry holding onto his shoulders in an attempt to restrain him.

"An easily solved problem," Draco replied, unmoved. He stood up and brushed himself off, before offering his hand to Ginny. Picking up the picnic basket, he took Ginny by the hand and sidestepped Ron, heading into the castle without a backward glance.

~~~
"Looks like our little picnic didn't go as smoothly as planned," Ginny said with a wry smile. She was sitting on Draco's writing desk as he started a fire to fight the damp chill in the room.
"Yeah, talk about sexual frustration, I can't believe I'm suffering from unsatisfied needs," Draco muttered under his breath. He sat down on the rug in front of the fireplace and stared gloomily into its depths.
A moment later, Ginny walked over to where Draco was sitting and sat herself down beside him, draping an arm around his shoulders. He turned to smile at her, their foreheads touching.
The sweet moment was interrupted rather abruptly when the door opened and Pansy waltzed in. "Whoops! Oh dear, I didn't see a thing, carry on, carry on!" she trilled, giggling at the sight of their astonished faces.
Ginny frowned in annoyance, that girl has the most atrocious timing ever! And to think she's giggling at our discomfort! Ginny paused, giggling? Pansy never giggles in front of me; she's usually too busy glaring daggers at me...
Draco let out a low growl of irritation, and stood up, about to demand Pansy leave the room when Ginny's hand on his arm stopped him.
"It's no use," she told him, before turning to Pansy, "You're drunk aren't you?"
Pansy stared at her owlishly. "Yes, yes I am, aren't you clever?" she drawled, before giving out an annoying high pitched giggle and wandering over to Draco's writing desk. She sat down and picked up one of his quills, tickling her own nose with it. "Hehe, that tickles!" she exclaimed with the delight of a five year old child.
"It's three o'clock!" Ginny exclaimed in disbelief.
"Well at least she waited till afternoon before getting sloshed," Draco drawled in a bored tone. Ginny shot him a glare. Draco sighed. "Let's get her back to her dormitory," he suggested.
They hauled her down the stairs to the common room where a frantic Millicent came bounding over to them. "There you are Pansy!" she shot an apologetic look at her sloshed friend, who was currently chasing after invisible fireflies. "I was feeding Crabbe and Goyle some Firewhisky so they'd stop following me around, but...well, I think it's obvious what happened," she continued to explain to Draco and Ginny.
Millicent hauled Pansy up over her shoulder, which wasn't a hard task considering her size, and set off for their dormitory. Draco and Ginny watched the two of them until they disappeared around a corner; letting out a sigh, they went back to Draco's room.
By the time they had settled themselves again, the humour of the afternoon's events finally dawned on Draco, he gave a tired grin and flopped back onto his bed.
"I rather like Pansy when she's drunk," Ginny mused, settling herself on the rug again. "She looked positively friendly."
"Well I can't stand it, what's wrong with the usual hostile Pansy? At least we don't have to be subjected to that hideous giggle of hers," Draco said with a grimace. Ginny laughed.
"She sounds like a hyena," Ginny said, giggling herself. Draco watched her and couldn't help but think her giggle sounded nothing like Pansy's, in fact, it sounded rather musical. I wouldn't mind hearing her giggle for the rest of my life, he thought, before frowning and unconsciously running a hand through his hair. I'm turning into a pile of mush, he concluded.
"Hey let's play exploding snap!" Ginny suggested, walking over to the bed.
"Exploding snap?" Draco asked in surprise, as he watched Ginny bouncing on his bed.
"Yes! Don't tell me you Slytherins don't know how to play," she teased.
"Yes, but..." he trailed off as he began thinking of all the other things he'd rather be doing with her. "Er, never mind, let's play," he finished hastily.
The rest of the afternoon was spent playing exploding snap and a few games of wizard chess. As the last game drew to a close, Ginny stretched and let out a muffled yawn.
"You're pretty good at wizard chess," Draco said with a grin.
"Of course, Ron taught me, remember how he got past McGonagall's giant chess set back in first year?" Ginny replied.
"Ah, that, I always thought it was a shame he only got knocked unconscious," Draco told her. At her scowl, he smirked and ruffled her hair. "It's nearly time for dinner, should we go down?" he asked her.
She was silent a moment, her face pensive as if she were deep in thought. "Let's skip dinner, I'm not really that hungry," she suggested. At the same time, a deep growl could be heard coming from the area of her stomach.
"Your tummy is grumbling," Draco pointed out, his eyes twinkling in amusement as he tried to keep a straight face.
"Oh shut it," Ginny said, sticking her tongue out at him, she could tell that a smirk was trying to find its way out onto the surface of his face.
Dinner was a quick affair, both of them eating hurriedly so that they could enjoy some time alone afterwards. As they once again stepped into Draco's room for the third time that day, Draco paused and turned toward the door.
"Before I forget," he said softly, whipping out his wand and muttering a locking spell on the door. By the time he had finished his handiwork and examined the door just incase and turned around, Ginny was waiting for him in the center of the room dressed in a white satin nightgown. He could feel his jaw drop and knew he looked like an idiot standing there with his mouth open, but he couldn't care less.
"How?...I...where did you..." Draco cursed himself for his incoherent speech, and settled for staring silently at her; mouth closed.
Ginny gave a small chuckle and slowly moved closer to him. "When you asked me yesterday morning about my owning a white nightgown, it was so obvious. You had a little dream about me didn't you?" she teased in a singsong voice.
Draco tried to frown, but felt his irritation edging away as Ginny moved closer to him, placing both hands on his chest and looking up at him with her deep brown eyes. "Where's a beater's club when you need one," he muttered, feeling thoroughly annoyed about embarrassing himself in front of Ginny.
"So aren't you going to tell me the next part of your dream?" she whispered in his ear, her lips in an amused smirk.
"Well, it's rather hard to describe, I think it'd be best if I showed you personally," he whispered back, before picking her up and making his way over to the bed. He didn't mind a bit as the left strap of the nightgown slid off Ginny's shoulder, and most definitely didn't mind at all when she didn't bother to adjust it...
Author Notes: And that's it! Hehe, I leave the rest up to your creative imaginations. =) I fully expect nice reviews about this and if I do, I'll even consider doing more side dishes for TsTr just for your reading pleasure. ^-^ so, get reviewing!
Also, I'm too lazy to come up with a proper name for this ficlet, as you all know, my naming skills are atrocious. However, if I do get enough reviews demanding I give respect to this fic by giving it a title, then I may (grudgingly) give it a name. So it's all up to your reviews.
