They tell me I can use 750 words here, but the whole chapter is barely that long. I think this will be the shortest chapter in the whole thing. Not much happens here.

Having set the stage for a later chapter in America, we now abandon it until at least the 4th year, possibly the 5th. As Robert said, "Welcome to Hogsmeade."

Dumbledore's keeping secrets again... and the Potter heritage of being the first to visit the hospital wing at Hogwarts is operating again. Tiffany and James face the hardest week of their lives, and nobody at all can help them.

Things are going to start moving now. The gang's all here, and everything is up to date. Several Plot Bunnies are about to give birth, and the stories are going to be rolling.

Pranks, Severe Embarrassment, and The Dragonian Codex. What more could you want? Ok, well, it's first year, no snoggings yet. (Trust me, we'll get there)

What happens when the White Knight has the Temper of a Dragon? We're about to find out what happens when somebody bullies people around James. The only question is, is he truly Hottempered, or Coldblooded? I do hope you have a few minutes to read though, this chapter is a little over 8,000 words.

Rose broadsides James, Life gets Daniel, Chimeras, Manticores, Hydra, and a whole slew of other monsters show up in this chapter. 58 of them to be exact.

Chimera has linked, and now they're going to spread out. Filler chapter finishing the first year. Watch Ravenclaw take the House Cup. Most of the chapter is setting the sgate for the next school year, in which things are going to get very strange.

The beginning of summer training for Manticore. We find out a couple of things, and the Manticores find out exactly what they'll be learning.

Second year begins, and there's a new life form at Hogwarts. Manticorian invisible Bats have invaded. Lighted hearted year, with fun, pranks and foreshadows of the future. Also, a touch of violence, and Slytherin sneakiness. A touch of Fudge bashing will round out the last calm year of the Eight's life, before a storm decends on them.

Christmas, and a story 2,000 years in the making. (Not Jesus, no God involved in this one) Eight new Manticores, and a new challenge. Lots of fun and a bit of trouble...

Just another school year at Hogwarts. Pranks, school work and Quidditch. (Pay no attention to attempted murders, people that talk to invisible people or a grouping group of bloody minded telepaths roaming the halls.)

The end of Manticore's second year. Tiffany gets a little upset, and Chimera has to stop her from doing graphically disgusting things to someone with a spoon.

This is Chapter 19 of a fic. If you've been reading the Fic, this chapter will be interesting. If you haven't, it's going to bore you, because it assumes you know everyone and what they are. In example: James and Adam square off against Mercy and Jerrick in the war games, and Manticore is about to reveal their secret to the most dreaded people living today. Their parents. (See what I mean?)

James opened his mouth, and said Chimera was the best. Now, he has to prove that, taking Chimera into battle against fifty-two Manticores. Eight people vs fifty-two. No wonder Chimera threw James in the river.

Manticore has to reveal it's purpose to the families... and we all believe that parents are going to be happy about their children facing off with a Dark Wizard that makes Vodlemort look like a child throwing a fit, right?

Third year is barely begun, and Manticore is already in trouble. Draco Malfoy Jr is a dead man walking, The Evans's book is coming back to haunt them, James is going to tell them something they'd rather not know, and it's not even Halloween yet.

Chimera finds out that the Evans are hiding the Ultimate spellbook.

Mounting problems, and the first look at a few of the first years that Rose thinks would be good for Manticore... even if their uses for Manticore are a bit vague right now.

The ministry is coming, Emma's magic is getting erratic, and Hagrid has a secret in the forest. Just another week in the Life of Manticore.

Rose wants to do something no one has ever done, but first, they have to survive Hangeld's poisoning.
