Ginny Weasley opened the door to her Upper East Side penthouse, humming a song under her breath while trying to balance her designer handbag, her keys and the six shopping bags. She placed her shopping bags on the polished mahogany dining table, and opened up the closest one. Pulling out a discounted Gucci handbag, she grinned as she admired it. Thinking back to the crazy scene at the packed department store, her grin turned into a sneer as she remembered the snarky blonde bitch that was also intent on snaring the last handbag. Ginny shook her head, her styled rich red curls bouncing on her shoulders, and thought, 'Whatever.' The bag was in her perfectly manicured hands now, and it was all hers, hers, hers.

Since birth, Ginny Weasley had always gotten what she wanted. Growing up in the luxurious Weasley Mansion, plus being the daughter of Arthur and Molly, multi-billionaire shipping magnate and professional socialite, she was used to the lifestyle of the rich. Ginny being the youngest and also only girl amongst six boys, her parents always paid special attention to her, and whatever their little princess wants, their little princess gets.

Now there was only one thing Ginny wanted that she had yet to have gotten. Her gaze wandered over to the silver Tiffany frame sitting above the fireplace, and her eyes narrowed as she stared at a particular boy within the photo. Six foot tall, lean but muscular, that effortless 'I-just-fell-out-of-bed' head of black hair, the easy smile and those gorgeous green eyes (which everyone could see easily now, thanks to the wonderful invention of contact lenses). It was easy to see why Harry Potter was the wizarding world's most eligible bachelor. And if he was the best, Ginny had to have him.

Ginny smiled evilly as she ran through her plan in her manipulating mind. It was so simple; it would be funny if it failed. Her thoughts were interrupted as there was a knock on the door, and her best friend walked in.

"Shopping again, Gin?" Draco asked, eyebrows raised, as he spotted her bags.

"Just a few little things I had to pick up for our trip," she replied.

Draco Malfoy had been Ginny's best friend forever. They had grown up together, due to the fact the Weasley and Malfoy families were close. Recently though, Draco had been getting a little sick of Ginny's tantrums and her incessant needs, but still puts up with her considering their long friendship and that their mothers were best friends.

Ginny ran her eyes over Draco and took in his outfit. He was looking especially handsome today, his dark suit complimenting his white blonde hair, pale, sculpted face and grey eyes perfectly. Ginny would have had her way with him in a second, but Draco had recently came out, and told her he preferred the men to the ladies, and Ginny was the only one who knew.

"Nice suit, Drake. New?" Ginny asked.

"Mmm," Draco murmured absentmindedly as he flipped through his diary. "Okay, listen up, our flight leaves at 10am tomorrow morning, so I'll get a cab and come pick you up at around 7.30am?"

"Ugh, that's way too early," Ginny whined.

"Well, if we were flooing or apparating, we could have left as late as we wanted, but someone wanted to take a first-class flight," Draco said, raising his eyes to look at Ginny.

"Flooing or apparating is so commonplace and low-class," Ginny said.

Draco and Ginny were travelling home to England to visit their families over Christmas, and it was the perfect time and setting to put her plan to action.

"So, let's run over our plan again." Ginny said.

Draco rolled his eyes. "Gin, I know it back to front. I freaking dreamed about it last night."

"It needs to be perfect if he's going to believe it," Ginny said as she walked over to the bar, and poured two glasses of wine.

"Look, Gin, if you want to be with Harry, why don't you just ask him out?" Draco said as he accepted the glass of wine.

Ginny looked at Draco unbelievably. "Harry has to ask me, not the other way."

"Okay, if you think me pretending to be your boyfriend is the best plan, then whatever." Draco shrugged.

"And you better be giving your best Oscar-winning performance. Everyone has to believe we're together. We have to drive Harry mad with jealousy, until he realises he's in love with me. And, of course, I'll be looking my best the entire time." Ginny delivered her winning speech and ended with a flick of her hair.

Draco nodded once and gulped down the rest of his wine. What had he gotten himself into? He had no way out of it though. If he refused to go through with it, Ginny wouldn't speak to him for months, and Draco couldn't stand it when his friends are mad at him.

'Poor Potter. He won't know what's hit him,' Draco thought silently.
