Draco and Ginny are thrown into detention together. An old magical item reveals its truw properties and an ancient evil is awakened. Draco is "chosen", though what for will not be revealed until later. He is also taken by dark forces and has to make a difficult choice that no one should have to make. Mostly D/G, but Hermione, Ron, and Harry make appearances, along with some other characters.

Draco and Ginny discover that there is more to each other than meets the eye, Draco discovers that an old heirloom has unforseen qualities, and evil is on the move. What else could possibly happen?
