"There has been a mass breakout this morning at Azkaban," Dumbledore told Malfoy. "The dementors released all of the prisoners from their cells on the command of an unknown Dark wizard. Your father was tracked was tracked down by Ministry Auror Remus Lupin and killed on sight by order of Minister Arthur Weasley. Your father's body is being kept at the Ministry under lock and key. Your mother was informed of your illness and is on her way here from the Manor. Hogwarts is on alert and classes are cancelled until our main threats are taken care of. Mr. Potter and Ms. Granger have requested to visit you and I have granted their request. When your mother arrives, I will allow you to take an outdoor walk with her, but then I want you to report immediately back here."

"Yes Professor," Malfoy said as he stared down at his bandaged knees. Something in the poison had prevented his wounds from being healed by Madame Pomfrey. "But sir?"

"Yes?"

"Why must I stay here? Why can't I go back to my dorm?"

"Because," Dumbledore said with an impatient sigh, "We still do not know who attempted to poison you. It could be anyone and you are most protected here. I promise you that we are doing our best to track down who might have done this to you...Well if you are ready, Harry and Hermione would like to see you."

Draco nodded his head and lay back into his pillow. He heard the Infirmary doors open and the familiar graceful steps of Hermione approached with the rugged steps of Harry along with her.

"Draco..." Hermione whispered as she stared down at the blood-soaked bandages covering his knees. "Why?"

"I decided we need some excitement in our life, because things are just too boring right now."

Draco snapped his head up as Harry whispered to Hermione.

"Do you think they will heal?"

"Of course they will!" Draco shouted. "Don't be so pessimistic."

"Isn't that sort of like the pot calling the kettle black?" Hermione asked as Harry and her took seats on either side of Draco's bed.

"Wow I'm glad someone still has a sense of humor," Draco said to her.

"So I hear your mum is coming..." Harry stated stupidly.

"Very quick, you are."

"Oh could you boys stop biting eachother's heads off?" Hermione suddenly said from her chair.

"Yes ma'am," Harry responded quickly.

***

Ginny was lying in bed when the dorm door burst open. Her curtains were drawn around her bed. She expected it was just one of her roomates, so she faded back into sleep. She was having a sweet dream about Harry.

But the person walked directly into the middle of the room and stopped. She could tell this by now. She knew every creak in the floorboards of her room, due to the many times she had attempted to sneak out of the room at night.

"Hello?" she asked lazily, her eyes still closed, her finger twirling her red hair.

"Hello Ginny," a voice said. Ginny's eyes popped open. A boy's voice. Not Ron. Not Harry. Not Neville or Draco. Familiar, yet not, as if from a dream. Or a nightmare.

"Whose there?" she screamed and her voice echoed through the room.

"Just an old friend." Creaks signified that he was walking closer to her bed.

Suddenly, the curtains around her bed were drawn back and light flooded her vision. It blinded her as she fought to see his face. To confirm what she feared. When the light melted back into the scenery, Ginny started to choke out a scream, but his hand came down sharply over her mouth.

"Quiet Ginny dear," he whispered, his hand still getting tighter over her mouth. "No one can hear you if you scream. I applied many spells on this room before I even entered. You cannot leave and no one will hear you scream. Understand?"

Ginny nodded her head quickly and he removed his hand from her mouth. His put his finger to his mouth, signifying quiet, and he took both her wrists in his hands and directed her wrists to her head.

"Don't move," he said as he stood up and retrieved something from the center of the room. He returned with a small box and he opened it to reveal a large red stone on a silver band. "I want you as my queen, Ginny, and no one else can take your place. But before you object, let me tell you one thing. I am now the commander of the dementors of Azkaban. If you do anything to disobey or resist me, I can have my dementors at the Burrow before you could blink your eyes. Got it?"

She nodded her head again and stared at him in disbelief as he slid the ring onto her finger. Tears welled up in her eyes and she turned her head as he started talking again.

"But we must christen our union," he said with a malicious smile. "Don't resist me Ginny. There is nothing you can do."

She nodded her head and squinted her eyes shut as he started unzipping her pants. He ripped the button off in haste and the zipper came undone easily.

"I'll buy you new ones," he noted as he pulled her pants down her legs to her ankles, where he slid off her socks and followed them with her pants.

He stood up and unbuttoned his shirt. He slid it off his chistled body and set it on Ginny's trunk. He returned to Ginny's side.

"Why Tom?" Ginny asked as he ripped open her shirt, buttons flying in every direction.

"Because Pansy Parkinson was not fit to rule at my side."

"But why?" she asked and she actually stopped to think about it as he produced a small pocket knife from his pants pocket. Why would Pansy bring him back? Her eyes were open to him again and a tear rolled down her face as he took the knife to her hip and cut the side of her undershorts. He did the same to the other side.

"Ron. Help," Ginny whispered quietly to herself.

"Head Boy is not here to save you now," Tom said as he took the knife to her bra and cut it off. He stood up again and pulled his black pants down to reveal blue boxers. "Do not resist me."

"I won't," she said as he approached her and a tear rolled down her face.

***

It was 11 at night when the Infirmary doors opened and Ginny Weasley walked through them. Draco did a double take as she walked over to his bed.

"Draco?" she whispered. "Where's Harry? I need him now!"

"Ummm," he said. "I think Dumbledore let him sleep in an empty teacher's dorm. Why?"

"Something is really wrong."

"Care to share?" he asked her and she nodded her head and came and sat on the side of his bed.

"He's back," she simply said and she stared at his nightstand as a tear ran down her cheek.

"Who?"

"Him.

"Voldemort?"

"Tom," she said simply again as more tears fell down her face.

"Tom..." Draco said to himself. "Tom Riddle?"

She nodded her head quickly and choked on her breathe as it sped through her mouth. He was unsure what to do, so he awkwardly put his hand on her back and started rubbing it slowly.

"And..." she choked out.

"And?"

"He was in my room."

"Your room?"

"Yah and he..."

"He what?"

"He said I was his queen because Pansy Parkinson was unfit to rule beside him."

"Oh shit."

"What?"

"Pansy Parkinson was murdered a few days ago. I thought it would be around the school."

"No, I guess not. It HAS been around school though how you and Harry are all buddy buddy with eachother."

"Ugh."

"But Tom...he scared me..." she hesitated.

"Ginny. What happened?"

She collapsed into a fit of sobs and she leaned forward onto his bed where she sat for a few minutes crying.

"What did he do Ginny?" Draco demanded. "What did he do to you?"

She picked her head up off her bed and stared at him with her puffy eyes.

"Why do you care so much?" she whispered. "You hate my family."

"I did. But Slytherins are turning against me. I know they are. Joining sides with Potter and the 'mudblood' was not a good choice."

Ginny let out a small chuckle.

"But what happened?" Draco asked again as he put his hands in her hair to untangle it. It was moist with tears and tangled as if someone had purposely tangled it. "What did he do?"

"Well after he said I would be his queen..."

"..."

"...he said we needed to christen the union."

"Christen..." Draco said quietly. "You mean like what couples do on their honeymoon night?"

"Yes, Draco."

He sat silently staring ahead of him, pondering what he could say to make this better.

"He forced you?"

"Yes."

"How could you let him? Why did you let him?"

"He has the dementors now."

"Tom has the dementors?"

Ginny nodded her head slowly. She stared around wildly for a few minutes and then fell sideways and pulled her feet onto the bed where she hugged herself to keep warm.

"Help me, Draco," Ginny whispered as she drifted off to sleep.

"I won't let him get you," Draco said as he pulled his blankets around her and snuggled close by her side, his fingers combing her hair gently.

***

When Draco woke up, Ginny was gone. She had slithered off back to her dormitory. One of Draco's knee bandages had come off, revealing a bluish mass of scar tissue. He sat up in bed waiting for Madame Pomfrey, when Dumbledore walked in, closely followed by Harry.

"Mr. Malfoy," he said regally. "Madame Rosmerta has informed me that your mother was in Hogsmeade early this morning and has set off for Hogwarts. Mr. Potter is here to accompany you to the grounds where you may wait for your mother."

Draco nodded his head and Harry was at once at his side to help him up. He shook off the fallen bandage and attempted to stand on his legs. They felt fine except for a low throbbing.

"I would keep that other bandage on if I were you, Mr. Malfoy," Dumbledore said as he turned and left the Infirmary.

"Harry, I need to talk to you," Draco said as he pulled a large green sweatshirt over his pajama top. He squinted down at his plaid pajamas bottoms and decided to keep them. He traded his slippers in for white tennis shoes which Goyle had dropped off for him.

"Alright."

"When we get outside," Draco said, leading the way out of the Infirmary doors. They walked quickly through the school at the fastest pace Draco could muster in order to avoid questions of why they were next to eachother and not attempting to Avada Kedrava eachother.

When they arrived on the grounds, Draco breathed in a breathe of fresh air. The grounds were still warm even though it was approaching fall, and Draco took the chance to see the most of the outdoors, of which he had not seen in three weeks since Harry and him had taken the Polyjuice.

"What did you need to talk about?" Harry asked Draco as they circled around the lake slowly.

"Tom," Draco said quickly. "Riddle. He's got the dementors."

"How do you know?"

"Last night, Ginny came into the Infirmary looking for you. She fell asleep in my bed crying. Tom had come to her room saying Pansy had brought him back. That he was in control of all of the dementors of Azkaban after the breakout. And that he wanted her. He...uh...forced her to...uh..."

"Not...?"

"Yah. That."

Harry put his hand to his head momentarily and sighed.

"Do you have any idea where she went?" Harry asked with his hand still on his head as if he had a headache.

"We have to tell Dumbledore," Harry said bluntly.

"But what if Ginny gets in trouble?"

"If we don't tell Dumbledore, we'll all be in trouble."

***

Draco and Harry continued walking around the lake for hours, but Draco's mother did not arrive. Night neared and the sky grew dark. But just before they decided to head inside, a black carriage pulled up and stopped in front of the castle.

"Mom," Draco whispered.

Sure enough, a blonde headed woman soon stepped out of the carriage. But suddenly, a coldness gripped Harry so hard he thought he would bleed to death. Voices filled his head. A woman screaming. Please, not this, Harry thought to himself as a dementor glided across the grounds from the forest. But niether Harry nor Draco had their wands with them. Draco froze where he stood and Harry knew that he could suddenly feel the cold.

"Have they come?" Draco asked Harry as Harry started to walk towards the carriage where Narcissa Malfoy was gathering her things with no knowledge that feet away from her stood death.

"They have," Harry said as he continued walking, his mind going a thousand miles. Draco followed behind despite his cold, and he hated that his vision was not good in the night.

"Where is it?" Draco asked Harry as he stopped dead. "Where did it go?"

Harry pointed, yet Draco could not see anything. But he listened for it. He heard a small struggle and he heard the dementor breathing deep and Draco took a step forward. After roughly four steps, he felt a small slope descending to the road where his mother's cage had fled back to Hogsmeade.

And Draco too stopped dead.

The dementor had pulled away from Narcissa Malfoy's face as Draco started running down the hill towards her. Harry ran after Draco and roughly pulled him around his chest. Draco tried pushing Harry off, but Draco was feeling weak and lightheaded.

"She isn't..." Draco gasped as he struggled to break free of Harry's grip, but Harry would not let him go. "Harry...let...go...I have to....to get to...her."

Draco collapsed into sobs and he struggled against Harry's grip around his chest.

"Draco, she's gone," Harry said as Draco fell to the frozen grass and Harry came down with him. "There's nothing you can do. She's gone."

***

"Cockroach Clusters!" Harry screamed at the gargoyles guarding Dumbledore's office after multiple tries until they finally moved. He sprinted up the stairs at the fastest pace his body would let him go and he banged on Dumbledore's door until it opened in front of him.

"Harry Potter," Dumbledore said lazily. "Wasn't expecting to see you..."

"Narcissa Malfoy just arrived," Harry panted. "But dementors...got to her."

Dumbledore quickly fetched his cloak and followed Harry down to the entrance hall and out the doors. Outside of the doors lay two figures. One was lying motionless on the ground and the other was shaking over it. Dumbledore knelt down next to Draco and put his hand on Draco's shoulder.

"Come on Mr. Malfoy," Dumbledore said soothingly. "Inside. Let's go. We'll bring your mother inside."

Draco looked up at Dumbledore with red eyes and stood up slowly. Harry took Draco by the arm and led him to the castle after a glance at Dumbledore, who nodded his head a fraction of an inch.

"Draco..." Harry whispered, but Draco stared ahead blankly as if his soul had been pulled from him. Harry directed Draco to the Infirmary, where Madame Pomfrey was bustling about arranging a bed. The moment she saw Draco, she quickly took him by his other arm and Harry and her directed him to his bed. Once he was lying down, Madame Pomfrey pulled off his shoes and set them next to his bed. She then pulled his blankets to his chin and smoothed them at his sides.

"Draco..." Harry whispered again from his chair at Draco's side. Draco had been staring blankly at the ceiling and his eyes slowly moved from the ceiling to Harry as if realizing just then that Harry was there.

"She's gone," Draco whispered absently. "She's gone. Who is gonna take care of me? She's gone."

At that precise moment, Dumbledore burst through the Infirmary doors and waltzed over to Draco's bed. Closely behind followed McGonagal, Snape, and Lupin.

"Mr. Malfoy," Dumbledore said quietly to Draco. "Your mother has been taken to St. Mungo's. I don't know how something like this could have happened on the grounds and I assure you that we will investigate it further."

"Tom," Harry said quietly.

"Excuse me?" Snape asked.

"Tom Riddle is back. Pansy Parkinson brought him back. He went after Ginny Weasly." Draco answered for Harry before he could even get one sylable out.

"How?" McGonagal suddenly piped up.

"We don't know," Harry croaked.

"Very well," Dumbledore said as he turned to Lupin. "I would like you to proceed to Gryffindor Tower and fetch Ginny Weasley. If she is not there, report back to me."

Luping nodded his head and Dumbledore turned back to Harry and Draco. Harry noticed a coldness in his eyes. They were no longer the friendly blue, but an icy mass of gray cloud. His brows were furrowed deeply as if in great thought and his hands were folded together in a steeple.

"Alright Mr. Malfoy," Dumbledore said. "One more thing I think before we can give you Sleeping Solution. We have to find a guardian for you. Your father is a convict and therefore incapable of parenting and your mother is no longer capable of parenting either."

Draco immediately turned to Snape as if pleading him to adopt him, but Snape shook his head firmly and looked back to Dumbledore.

"Well, there's Arabella Fig, but she is a squib so I don't think so," Dumbledore said to Snape. "There's Remus. There's Sirius. There's also...but I don't know if he would be up for it...Brutus. I don't know who else would be willing to take custody of a 17 year old boy at midnight."

"Well once Remus returns," Snape said quietly to Dumbledore and McGonagal, "we can discuss it with him. Perhaps him or Sirius will take custody of Malfoy. It really does not matter which though, seeing as how Remus and Sirius live together."

Draco suddenly looked at Harry. They live together?

Harry nodded his head then set it on the bed in frusteration with his thumbs digging into his eye sockets.

"Harry," Dumbledore suddenly said with his hand on Harry's shoulder. "Harry, you do realize that if Draco gets adopted by either Sirius or Remus that he would be living with you? Would that be alright?"

Harry shrugged his shoulders and looked up at Draco to try and see what his response was. But Draco was long asleep. There was a bottle of Sleeping

Solution on the side table and Madame Pomfrey was back to bustling around.

Lupin suddenly walked through the door with a firm grasp on the arm of Ginny Weasley. She had one tear rolling down her face and Lupin let her go directly in front of Dumbledore.

"I can't tell you anything," she said quickly. "I can't. He'll know. He knows. He'll hurt me. I can't"

She shook her head back and forth over and over and McGonagal took her around the shoulders and held her in a hug for a few moments. When she let go, Ginny finally realized Harry was there and she jumped into his arms.

"Tom..." she whispered into his ears as she sobbed on his shoulder. "Tom...back...help Harry...I can't do anything...against him...we're connected...now."

Harry nodded his head and pat her hair. Dumbledore then lifted her off of Harry's lap and led her to the bed next to Draco where Dumbledore half-lifted her, half-forced her onto the bed. Madame Pomfrey came towards her and reached for the Sleep Solution.

"No..." Ginny said weakly as Pomfrey pulled the cap off the bottle. "No...no...I can't...he'll come...while I'm sleeping"--her voice rasped as she tried to speak and take in air at the same time--"No...Professor Dumbledore...please...no..."

"Ms. Weasley," Dumbledore said quietly as Madame Pomfrey poured the liquid into a glass half-way filled with pumpkin juice. "I assure you that he cannot get to you here. In the morning, perhaps we can talk more, but in the meantime, I would like you to get some sleep. Mr. Potter will be staying here tonight and Professor Lupin will be guarding you. I have informed Madame Pomfrey that the door is to stayed locked and only Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley can enter after being subjected to the Veritas Charm to confirm their identity.

"I assure you that he will not get to you here. We have the most secure charms placed upon this ward of the school," Dumbledore finished. Madame Pomfrey mixed the Sleeping Potion and pumpkin juice and she handed the glass to Ginny, who pushed it away, shaking her head. Harry stood up off the chair next to Draco's bed and approached Ginny's bedside.

"Gin," Harry said quietly, one hand now around the glass, the other smoothing Ginny's hair back. "Take it." He lifted it to her lips where she slowly allowed it to fill her mouth. Tears rolled down her face as she took the entire glass-full into her mouth, but she didn't seem to be swallowing. "Swallow," Harry commaned and she obliged. She slowly slid the liquid down her throat and she lay deeper into her pillow as Harry pulled the blankets up around her. Her eyes started to close, but they jolted open again and searched around the room. "He's not going to come here," Harry assured her and she nodded her head and sank into her pillow. Within moments, her eyes closed and stayed close.

"Harry," Dumbledore said, his hand once more on Harry's shoulder. "She would not have agreed if you had not assured her. I can either have a bed arranged for you on either side of them or we can pulled over a recline chair in between them and get you a blanket."

"I'll take the chair in between them," Harry said as Madame Pomfrey lifted his chair away from his and summoned a cushiony recliner in between Draco's and Ginny's beds. He settled down into the chair and a thick blanket appeared out of thin air. "I don't need a pillow," he said as Madame Pomfrey raised her wand to summon one. The lights darkened around their beds and Harry sank into his chair and sighed loudly.

Tom Riddle. Back. It didn't seem possible to Harry, but he couldn't even try to imagine how hard this was for Ginny. She had her life on the line. But then again, with Tom around, everyone had their life on the line. But how did Pansy bring him back? What did she use to pull the 17 year old boy forward in time? Surely, the diary would not work, since its charm had been destroyed in second year. But maybe...Malfoy's dad had stuff from Riddle's teen years. Perhaps Malfoy had given Pansy father other things in Azkaban and then Pansy's father and given it to her while she was visiting and...

No...too complicated.

***

Tom sat at his desk pondering how to get his Ginny back. It was just good that she had not been with him when they came for her. But as soon as he knew that they had taken her to the Hospital Wing, he had fled back to the secret room, said the password, and stayed there.

But now he had to get Ginny back. He knew where she was and that she was unconcious as the result of a potion. Sleeping Solution. Ahh, he knew that one well. But she was also being guarded. Stunning Spell. He knew that one even better. He took up his cloack where it rested on the back of a sofa chair and slid back the hidden door. He pushed the tapestry forward and slipped out.

He quickly snapped his fingers and his body blended in with the surroundings. He crept down the corridor, careful not to make a noise, and walked down two levels to the Hospital Wing. He pushed on it but, as he knew it would, it was locked. He muttered a long spell under his breathe. He had invited this one himself along with Avery Nott and Lucius Malfoy. Ahh, how he missed his friends. But he had just seen the blonde haired boys two weeks ago. But that had been before Pansy had brought him back.

The door clicked open and he was careful to sneak in between the smallest space between the doors without them creaking. An old man was sitting in a chair guarding three sleeping children and he turned sharply when he realize the door was open. But he saw nothing and he turned around, thinking to himself that it was just his mind playing tricks on him.

Tom slipped along the short corridor to the three beds. Lying on one bed in a deep sleep was a twin of Lucius. But no, his son. He pulled the name Draco from the blonde boy's head. The boy was tossing and turning, slowly and quietly, and Tom peered into his mind.

He was dreaming. Not a good dream. Nightmare. There was a blonde haired woman. No one that Tom knew. But Draco knew her. Mother. And a dark shape was drifting towards her. She screamed and turned to Draco. 'Help me,' she said, but Draco was being held back by a black haired boy. 'Why didn't you let me get to her Harry,' Draco asked the boy as blue tears ran down his face. Poison tears. 'Because the dementor would have gotten you too,' the boy said, 'and I don't know what I would do with everything if it got you.' The boy nodded his head in the dream and the scene shifted. In front of him stood a full grown man. Tom knew him the moment he saw him. Lucius. All grown up. 'Boy,' Lucius yelled at Draco. 'Boy you let that happen to your mother. You are a shame. Lord Voldemort would not accept you. Young Tom Riddle would not have accepted you. You are a shame to the family name. You deserve nothing more than to join Harry Potter and lick the feet of mudbloods and muggle-lovers. Stay with your precious Dumbledore. But Tom Riddle will get to you. You cannot hide.' The boy's dream shifted and changed as Tom withdrew his tendrils from the boy's mind and moved to the black haired boy who lie in a recliner with a small blanket. The boy muttered and moved very often. The old man keeping watch stared at the boy in concern.

There was a man and a woman. Man with black hair. Woman with bright red hair. Beautiful. They held hands and in between them lay a baby boy with a full head of dark hair. The woman kissed her baby and then her husband. Suddenly, the scene erupted in green and a boy burst through a door carrying a wand. It was Draco Malfoy. He laughed cruelly and transformed into his father, who then transformed into a bald man with one hand, who once more morphed into a snakelike man with red slits for eyes. 'Harry Potter,' the snake man whispered as the woman and man collapsed and died. 'You shall not get away from me this time.' The baby morphed into the Harry that lie on the bed twisting and turning and Harry raised his hand and killed the snakeman. But when the snakeman fell to the floor, it became Draco. 'No!' Harry screamed. Tom withdrew. He somehow knew from Harry that the snake-like man was himself as an adult. Harry did not have to think it. But Tom knew.

Tom moved onto the girl. It was Ginny. He slipped into her mind and only saw a picture of his own face. Ginny grimaced as the face attached itself to a body and came towards her. Dream-Tom came towards Ginny and caught her around the shoulders. 'You are mine now,' Dream-Tom whispered and she nodded and cried on his shoulders. 'You will do what I say now.' She nodded again. Tom withdrew from her mind and walked closer to her. He put his hand on her cheek and she attempted to brush it away but all her hand met was air. Tom withdrew his invisible wand from his invisible pocket and aimed it at the old man.

"Petrificus totalus," Tom whispered and the man froze. Tom then snapped his fingers and his body appeared. The man's eyes seemed to widen and Tom pulled Ginny's blanket back and picked her up. Her head rolled onto his chest and rested there. Tom snapped his fingers where they lay trying to support Ginny's body and both of their bodies melted into the scenery. Tom then walked to the door and left the Infirmary.

***

Harry woke up as the Infirmary door shut after Dumbledore. People were

running around the Infirmary frantically and Harry looked at Draco, wondering if he had died. But Draco was sitting up already, looking blank and empty. Draco turned his head and looked to Harry, who blinked a few times. Draco slowly raised his arm and pointed at where Ginny was sleeping.

Except she was gone.

Harry ripped off his blanket and jumped off the chair. "Where is she?!" he screamed to anyone who would answer.

Madame Pomfrey rushed over to him. "Dear, Tom Riddle came early this morning and took her away. Ghosts, teachers, and even students alike have been searching the castle. No one can find her anywhere. Dumbledore is taking charge. He fears that they have fled to the forest, where Dementors are reigning freely. No one can touch them there."

She attempted to push Harry into Ginny's bed to go back to sleep, but he raised his arms and pushed her back. "No!" he screamed."I want to help find her!"

"Professor Dumbledore has demanded that I keep you and Mr. Malfoy here," Madame Pomfrey said, quickly recovering from his shove and overpowering him to push him down onto the bed. She held him to the bed by the elbows and nodded to Lupin who walked over and took Harry by the arms as she let go.

"Harry you need to relax," Lupin said as Madame Pomfrey bustled about looking for something. She picked up a bottle and poured something out of it into a glass. Harry used all his might to push on Lupin, but he would not budge. He lifted his feet to kick Lupin off, but Lupin had set his knee on an angle across Harry's shins. Madame Pomfrey held the glass up to her eye to make sure the measure was correct and she walked back over to Harry. She leaned over Harry and poured the liquid into his mouth. It seeped down his throat like maple syrup despite his efforts to block it. He tried to cough it up, but it worked its way down his throat.

"Harry, go to sleep," Lupin whispered. "It's just a Peace Potion. Sleep should come by itself." Harry turned his head as Lupin let go of him and looked to Draco. Draco was staring at Harry in pure horror. Harry opened his mouth to speak but Draco held up his hand as if to say "Don't say a word. Sleep."

Harry turned his head away from Draco and looked up at the ceiling. He slowly moved his head from side to side, taking in every detail that he had never noticed. But Ginny was in danger. The potion may have calmed his body, but his mind was still racing. He had to get up. He told his arms to push him up, but they were lax at his side. His legs seemed as if made of jelly and a tear fell out of his eye and down his face where it settled in his hair.

"Ginny..." he whispered and he closed his eyes and allowed sleep to overtake him.
