Chapter 5
They kissed again. This time neither one wanted to separate. Ever. They coursed through each other. Fire and ice, melting each other into nothingness. Everything around them dissolved until all that was left was the feeling of their two bodies being pressed together by a strong force. A force stronger than hate, stronger than love, stronger than anything either of them ever experienced. Lust.
Still kissing, he slowly unbuttoned her shirt and tossed it aside to make sure she wouldn't put it back on any time soon. She continued what he began by unzipping his pants with one hand, while the other was getting tangled in his silky blonde hair. He helped her out of her flannel pyjama pants, clearly hand-me-downs, as she took the elastic out of her straight, fiery, red hair, letting it fall over her pale shoulders.
Arms wrapped around each other, they fell to their knees. His hands moved down from her hair to her bra, and he undid the clasp that was keeping it on her. She didn't object, she just let him feel his way around her body. He kissed down her neck, her collar bone, her chest, her...
//So this is what it's like?// She thought, //This is 'bliss'? This is 'peace'? This is...happiness? How is this happiness?! I'm snogging Draco Malfoy! Not exactly the happiest event! No, snogging isn't even the right word for it. I'm fucking shagging him!! What on earth is wrong with me?? Why can't I stop him? I don't want him! I want Harry! Harry is my guy, my hero. I'm supposed to be with him! So then why am I losing my virginity to Malfoy?!//
At this point, he had already taken off her black lace underwear, and thrown his boxers aside. So there they were, two bodies, him on top of her, getting as intimate as the word can go. He made his way down her body with his lips, kissing every spot he could find. Torso, stomach, lower, lower... // Stupid Cho! This is her fault! She stole him away! God I wish I was her right now. I wish Draco was Harry. A secret affair with the Boy Who Lived. Ooh I like the sound of that! But this is wrong. I shouldn't even be here. I should be lying in my bed, curling up into a little ball and cuddling up to my insomnia. Why does he do this to me? Why does he do it so well? And since when did the word no leave my vocabulary? This isn't right. I should go before something hap---//
Hands on either side of her body, he took away her innocence with a single movement. Her virginity was gone, stolen by this snake, when it should have been taken by her lion. Eyes watering, she pushed him off her. They lay there, side by side, panting like crazy. Tears fell down her face. He whispered 'I love you',, kissed her forehead and went to sleep. It was the worst night of her life.

Ginny woke up with a start. Staring up at the familiar white ceiling, she realized it had all been a dream. A bad dream.
"What a nightmare!" she said.
Suddenly, a pale, muscular arm wrapped itself around her sheet- covered body, trapping her. Petrified for who she might see, she slowly turned her head to face the person who this arm belonged to. It was him.
"Omigod!! Tell me I'm still dreaming!" she whispered to herself while pinching her arms wildly, but to no avail, she had done the unthinkable. She had slept with Draco Malfoy.
"Ugh!" Ginny looked at her surroundings. She found herself in the middle of one of the most private rooms in the castle; the Prefect Bathroom. "I slept here?" she asked herself, still not believing what she was seeing.
She wasn't exactly sure if she had gotten her facts straight. Maybe this had all been a set-up just to freak her out? So, she looked underneath the thin blue sheet that was wrapped around her body, and her fears were confirmed. There lay Ginny Weasley, in the middle of the prefect bathroom, wrapped in a single piece of fabric, next to Draco Malfoy, and she was nude.
"EW! EW! EW! I can't believe this!" Ginny turned her head again to face her sick, one-night-stand. He was fast asleep, and she was sure nothing could wake him. She carefully took his arm and lifted it with two fingers, holding it as if it was a dead rat. She moved it off of her and he rolled onto his back. She was free.
As quietly as she could, she got up and draped a spare bathrobe around her. She wanted to gather her clothes, which turned out to be a pretty hard task, considering most of her clothes were all over the place, and some were no where to be found. //Oh boy, this is gonna take a while// she thought.
She began by searching for her underwear and bra. Since these were the last things she had taken off, they were probably somewhere near by. After looking for about five minutes, she spotted her bra in the far left corner of the room, and her underwear was about a metre away from it. //If that was near by, I can't imagine what far away is gonna be like//.
Once covered up, she glanced around for her shirt and pants. She began to walk around. She looked up, down, and across the room, but couldn't find anything. That was when she noticed something bright red on the door. She turned her head, and saw her shirt dangling from the doorknob, and her wand on the floor next to it.
After putting it on, her search for her pants continued. She was looking under towels when horror struck. Draco rolled over, and Ginny could see her pant leg peeking out from under his back. //Oh shit! I'm screwed! There's no way I can get it now!//
Ginny was stumped. Her pants were gone. The only way she would be able to get them back was if Draco moved, and he seemed pretty comfy, so that thought was hopeless.
Moving on to find a solution, she got a silk, Gryffindor, bathrobe and put it on. She figured that if anyone asked why she had it, she'd just tell them she took an early-morning shower.
Her socks were probably the easiest article of clothing she could find. One was at the foot of the 'bed' they created the night before, and the other was hanging over the tap belonging to the bathtub. As she slipped the second one on her perfect, pale feet, she spotted her shoes. One was on the floor next to the toilet, while the other was in the bathtub, floating on the pink, bubbly water. (A/N: When someone walks into the room the tub fills with water, and when they leave, it drains. So when Draco and Ginny walked in, the water filled up and they never left, so her shoe was floating in the water...in a pool-like tub...making it kinda hard for her to reach it...see the trouble?....I know that's not in the story, but I've decided that's how it's gonna be...and it's my story...so there! *~*sticks tongue out at all critical readers who are bothered by my lack of detail and weird ideas*~*)
"I can't believe this!" Ginny whispered to herself. She reached inside her shirt and took out her wand. She then pointed it at the water, said "Accio shoe!" and a half a second later, she was holding her wet sneaker in her hand. //At least it'll smell nice// she thought. With all her clothes gathered, she took one last regretful look at Draco, and headed for the door.
She was about to reach the doorknob when she heard someone say, "So what're you gonna do now?" Ginny jumped. As she turned around to face the mysterious voice, she took her wand out again and held it tightly behind her back. No one was visible to her and Draco was still sleeping, so she quietly said, "Who's there?"
"Oh c'mon, you've come in here before. I've seen you. It's not like you don't know who I am," Ginny stayed silent, not knowing whether she should run for her life, or try to find out who the face-less voice belonged to...and then run for her life.
"You really don't know who I am, do you?" the voice said, sounding sceptical.
Ginny shook her head.
"Bloody hell that's a first! I thought I talked to everyone. Well at least before they put that ruddy spell on me. I mean it's kind of hard to talk with your mouth sealed shut. Alright, look at the bath and then look up onto the wall."
Ginny did she was told, even though she didn't quite understand her instructions. She stared at the wall and saw the beautiful, mermaid painting waving at her.
"Hello there," she said, flipping her hair behind her back.
"H-hi," Ginny said doubtfully.
"I'm the mermaid of Hogwarts, but you can call me Marissa, and you're Ginny Weasley. Nice to meet you, and nice to meet me. Right, now that we've been properly introduced I'll ask you again. What're you going to do?"
Ginny, still in shock from her encounter with the most talked-about painting at Hogwarts, took a minute to answer, causing Marissa to get impatient. When Ginny realized that her arms were crossed and she was tapping her fins on her rock, she said, "S-sorry but, what are you referring to?"
Marissa rolled her eyes and pointed to the sleeping Slytherin. "What are you going to do about that bloke? You can't just leave him here, he loves you, I heard him say it. Besides, you guys put on quite a show last night so you can't just make him wake up alone."
"You saw us?" Ginny asked, horrified.
"Yeah...a bit...your little boy toy here forgot to put the silencing spell on me when he came in and so did you so I was a free girl last night."
"How much did you see exactly?"
"Um...well there was the beginning, and then the middle, oh and you can't forget that glorious ending! So yeah pretty much all of it."
"You haven't told anyone have you? Any of your little painty friends?"
"My lips are as sealed as they are with the silencing spell. Haha...get it? Because that spell only works on me and so..." Ginny looked at her as if she was retarded, "never mind, you probably won't get it. But yeah I won't tell."
"Promise?"
"You have my word."
"Thanks, and um, could you please just tell him that I left and you and I never spoke? I don't want him interrogating you and stuff."
"Sure. Have a good day!"
"Thanks...Well bye then!" Ginny said, as she walked out of the room and shut the door behind her. //Glad that's over! Now, I missed breakfast, so onto Transfiguration. But first...to the dormitory!// (A/N: that was to the tone of "Robin...to the bat-mobile!" for those of you who don't know...It's not my fault I'm like this! I've lost enough brain cells already due to recent events that I am not willing to discuss ::my friend hit my head:: *~*tear, sniffle, tear*~*)
* * *
"Colin!" Ginny screamed as he walked through the Charms door. "You're alright!" She ran up to him and hugged him so tight, he could barely breathe. "Mr. Creevy, nice to have you back," Mr. Flitwick, the teeny little professor, said, "Now if you would please take your seat. You too Miss Weasley." (A/N: Don't know if you remember but Colin hurt himself during Quidditch in the 3rd chappie!!)
Ginny sat down next to Colin in their usual corner of the room. Ginny had hoped that Colin would be back, because she needed to tell him about the prefect meeting the night before.
"So anyway," she whispered, "we signed up for Halloween last night, but I'm sure if you ask Dumbledore he'll put you on the list. I can't imagine decorating alone with Draco Malfoy! That would be so--"
"Ginny what's wrong?" Colin interrupted, "Your eyes are bloodshot, your hair is messed, and your robes are all wrinkled; it looks like you didn't get any sleep last night. You ok?"
Ginny was taken aback. She didn't think she looked too bad when she left her room, and no one had mentioned anything to her. But then again, Colin knew her better than anyone.
"I'm fine, don't worry about me. But thank you for your honesty, at least now I know that I look like shit," Ginny said sarcastically.
Colin laughed and said, "Sorry Gin, I was just worried. And you don't look like shit...trust me." He smiled and asked jokingly, "So what else happened last night? You didn't do anything stupid without me there to watch over you, did you?"
Ginny got a sudden eerie feeling that Colin could read minds. She stared back at him, speechless. Her mouth seemed to have lost all abilities to speak. "Gin?" Colin asked. Ginny snapped back to earth, looked at Colin with the most innocent face he could muster, and said, "N-no, nothing. N-nothing at all. So how do you do the Switch Charms again? I wasn't paying attention."
Colin didn't understand his friend's weird behaviour, but seeing as how she was trying to change the subject, he went along with it and said uneasily, "Uh, sure. Er, what you have to do is..." //Thank God!// Ginny thought.

"...And Quidditch matches will begin next Saturday. The first match is Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw. Good then, let the feast begin." Dumbledore had just finished his usual speech before the meal, and the plates were now filled with food at every table.
Ginny was eating happily, chatting away with Colin and watching Seamus attempt to do spells without messing them up. Ginny giggled as he successfully changed his water into rum (A/N: Finally he did it!), and began laughing hard when three house-elves popped up next to him and carried his glass away. Then, a fourth house-elf appeared and said in a serious tone, "Seamee should not be making rum, sir. 'Tis against the rules, sir. Miggy is very upset now, sir. Bad, very bad." With a quick pop, she disappeared, and every Gryffindor who was watching the scene began hitting the table and laughing hysterically. It took about twenty minutes after that for everyone to settle down again.
Ginny was in the middle of dessert when she felt like she was being watched. She looked around to make sure everyone's eyes were on their own business, when she saw Malfoy. He was ogling, no, gaping, unable to remove his eyes from her. When he noticed Ginny looking back at him, he smirked, winked, and mouthed, "Meet me in the Grounds after dinner."
Ginny sneered and mouthed, "No." Draco froze. He clearly wasn't expecting rejection. He got up, and stormed out of the Great Hall, furious at Ginny. He walked back to his common room and plopped down on the couch.\Why does she act like that? Why doesn't she just accept that I love her and that she loves me back? I have to talk to her. I have to convince her. I'm going to make her see.\ Draco left the common room once again and set off to find Ginny before curfew.
* * *
After dinner, Ginny went to her room, got her Potions books, some parchment and a quill, and walked down to the library. Since she had been a bit...preoccupied the night before, she hadn't been able to finish her assignment on Hair-Growth potions, and it was due the next day. She was determined to get it done before curfew, or Snape would ring her neck before lunch.
She turned a corner and nearly bounced off the object standing in front of her. Catching her balance, she looked up and saw the very least person she wanted to meet right now. Draco.
"What's the hurry love?" he asked.
"The hurry is that I was not in my dormitory all night last night, so I couldn't finish my homework that's due tomorrow, so now I have to finish it before curfew. And don't call me love."
She rounded him and began to walk away, before he said, "You didn't seem to care about curfew last night, But then again you were too busy---"
"Don't talk." She said coldly.
"I just don't see why you have to go right now? I mean, so what if we miss curfew? You could always just come the my room and---"
"Don't even say it," she interrupted, "Last night was the end of this charade. I'm not ever doing it aga--"
"Don't say that," he said, not letting her finish her sentence.
"What'd you think?" Ginny asked, "You thought I would be happy? You thought we'd just lie there together all day and then tour the school hand in hand?"
"Well, I was thinking more along the lines of a recap from last night," he said mischievously.
She looked at him, annoyed and said, "Shut up,"
"Make me," he said, grabbing her shoulders and pulling her in. She tried to get out of his grasp but found that she was quite stuck. Struggling, she pleaded, "No, stop--" he then brought her in and kissed her. There was no denying it, she was definitely drowning. The more she felt him, the further down she went, up to the point where she could no longer breathe. After about a minute, she tried pull back while saying, "No, no, I have to--"
"Stay, please stay. I promise I won't be too rough" he softly kissed her again. He wrapped his arms around her stomach and looked her in the eye.
"I knew it," he said, "I knew that you'd be experienced. Everyone says you've been around with the boys but now I know its true."
"What?! Uh! That's disgusting!" Ginny said while wiping her mouth.
"Well clearly I was right, I mean after last night, I should know."
"Shut up," To Ginny, it felt like the only time her kissing a Malfoy was acceptable, was when they were actually kissing, because whenever they talked, he made it so easy to regret.
"Sticks and stones pet, you know that bad boys get you hot," Draco walked over to her until they were only centimetres apart and said, "You know that I get you hot."
"Listen to me Malfoy, and listen good, you do not get me hot! You're just--you're just, convenient."
Draco was defeated. He backed away from Ginny, looking as if he was going to throw up, "So what now? We're just going to go on pretending nothing happened until you get depressed again and you need something convenient? Well forget that! Because last night changed things, and you know it."
"Last night didn't change anything Malfoy. It was a huge mistake."
"It changed everything Weasley! Now I know that you have feelings for me."
"What?!" Ginny was awestruck. This guy just wouldn't take a hint!
"You heard me. And knowing you, you won't admit to it but I'll show you that you do. I'll make you see it. I'll show everyone--"
"You breathe a word about this to anyone, and I will curse you with every hex I have ever learned, or even heard about." Ginny had never been more serious in her entire life. Ever.
"Fine. Be that way, but I know what you feel for me. And someday, I'll make you see it. Unless you figure it out for yourself of course." Malfoy snickered and turned to walk away, "It's been fun Weasel. Can't wait until next time."
"There won't be a next time."
Draco stopped walking, spun his head slowly around, and said, "We'll see about that." Ginny opened her mouth to answer but he had already turned the corner and was out of sight.
