Lily sat in the Headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. She didn't believe what Albus had just asked her to do. He wanted her to spy on Voldemort. They needed a spy. They needed connections to get Death Eaters on their side. But did she really have to be sinking that low for it?

And there was no possible way that he was going to believe that she actually loved him, that she would leave James for him... She was just a Mudblood after all... even though she defended him in front of James, time after time. He couldn't be all that bad. Could he?

James was not too pleased about it either. He had to share his wife with the one he hated most of all people in the world. Voldemort was bad, but he hated him not that much as the one Albus made Lily seduce. Of course it would be all secret. There could be spies of Voldemort in the Order. Without anybody knowing who they were. It certainly wasn't him. Would any of his friends ever betray him? No, that wasn't possible. They had been his friends ever since he first came to Hogwarts. And even if his nemesis turned on his Master, he would still be indebted to him

Lily looked into the eyes of her husbands nemesis. The two of them loathed each other. But still she was on Albus' orders. And both she and James had agreed to it. She kissed the man tenderly on his overlarge nose, running her hands through his greasy hair. Indeed he should wash more often. Both his clothes and himself. James was right about that. Maybe that wasn't such a bad idea. Washing. Maybe she wouldn't feel dirty if they used a shower or something...

It was badly enough she had to feign love for this man. She loved her husband above all. Besides she was carrying her husband's child... Albus had to be informed. But she was too deep now. She couldn't send a message without letting the enemy know that she was a spy for Dumbledore.

The job of a spy was never easy. But she had done it. She had won her husbands nemesis over. He joined the Order.. out of love for her.

Still she had to tell Dumbledore of her pregnancy. She hadn't even told James. She was now three months pregnant. She had been undercover for one...

James was thrilled when she told him that she was pregnant. He only was scared because the child would be born in the middle of the war against Voldemort.

When Albus heard about Lily's pregnancy, he had heard of another pregnancy in his precious Order. Alice was pregnant too. Add that to the strangest Prophecy he had heard in the Hog's Head while interviewing his new Divination teacher Trelawney...

The lives of all the future parents and their unborn children were in great danger. And only the one that Lily had just hauled over to the other side was able to help them. Thank God, Severus Snape existed.
