Invisible touch

Well I've been waiting, waiting here so long

But thinking nothing, nothing could go wrong, but now I know

She has a built in ability

To take everything she sees

And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her

Veela, they are called. Women with a built in abilty to let every man do crazy things. Crazy things, saying things, they'd rather not say, nor do. And still, when she's there, you'll do it. It is just the males that are affected. Somehow it works only on men. Their female charm doesn't work on girls. Would it work on lesbians? I don't know. I'm not a lesbian. I'm just a straight forward guy.

The men are mostly waiting, dying to meet them and please them, making them choose one, by pretending to be what they are not. It's just their way of getting under your skin, with no easy way of getting them out of there!

She seems to have an invisible touch yeah

She reaches in, grabs right hold of your heart

She seems to have an invisible touch yeah

It takes control and slowly tears you apart

Their invisble touch, leads man to destruction. Diving head first from a high building, or even just a Quidditchstadium tribune... saying you have a better job than you really have, can also lead to serious destruction. You've got to live up to it, because you don't want to get them angry. Then they turn in these strange ferocious birdlike creatures that destroy more than what you do just by looking at them.

I don't really know her, I only know her name

'But she crawls under your skin, you're never quite the same, and now I know

she's got something you just can't trust

It's something mysterious

And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her

I indeed have fallen for it. My girlfriend, Fleur, is part-Veela. Although she is not entirely Veela, she still has that invisible touch. My youngest brother even asked her to go to the Yule Ball with him. He's still ashamed of it. But he was still really happy when she kissed him on his cheek, after Harry had saved her little sister and him in the Second Task of the Triwizard. Tournament. Fleur is just a very nice girl and her sister Gabrielle is simply adorable. Fleur says that Gabrielle just can't stop talking about Harry. He saved her, he is her hero. She sounds more and more like my sister Ginny every day. They have the same infatuation with Harry. Harry saved her too, at one point.

I feel like I've been waiting all my life for Fleur. And it's all thanks to Harry (or is it Dumbledore and Harry) that I met her! She really is the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time. At least it brought me closer to my family.

But Veela, there is nothing you can do, but admire them. And hope you don't destroy yourself in the process!
