Author's Note:
Gah. I really don't like this chapter, for various reasons. Didn't turn out exactly as I had planned it to, and. Well. I don't want to spoil it. xD Enjoy.

"Happy birthday to you! You live in a zoo! You smell like a troll-"

"Lee!"

"Sorry Gred, Forge. Couldn't help it..."

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Fred and George! Happy birthday to you!"

"And many more..."

"'Till you're a hundred and four!"

"...I hope not!"

"Such a spoilsport, Oliver!"

"And Scooby-Doo on channel two!"

"...Who the hell is Scooby-Doo?"

"Sorry, Fred; muggle stuff."

"Language!"

"Sorry Mum..."

It was April 1; the twins' 18th birthday. All the Weasleys, as well as Harry, Hermione, Lee, Alicia, Angelina, and Katie were gathered at Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes for their birthday celebration. The shop was decorated brightly, and everyone was having a good time. Of course, a few pranks had been pulled in the past fifteen minutes, and any customers that day were sent through a joking spree of several products, but what did anyone expect on April Fools?

They were about to cut the cake (which, unknown to all but the twins, was a giant canary cream in disguise), vanilla frosting and red icing which read 'Happy Birthday to Gred and Forge.' Then it happened.

It was so sudden no one really knew what to do. The Death Eaters burst through the front door, searching for the Boy Who Lived. Wands out and at the ready, they cursed all that they could see. Eventually they spotted Harry, a black dot among the swarm of red.

They say that everyone has a hero in them. A hero that is the cause when people tell the truth, when people are kind. When people do the right thing. Sometimes the right thing isn't always easy, but the hero knows it is right.

One of the twins, spotting the Death Eater coming for Harry made to move the latter out of the way. A curse was shot, and instead of hitting Potter, it struck the red head.

"George!" Katie shrieked as members of the Order and Ministry alike flocked to the scene. "George!" His twin stared at his counterpart, torn in half. He couldn't bring himself to cry; his brother wouldn't do that. But he couldn't just stand there as his twin's life wasted away...

"Fred...," the living twin croaked, kneeling down beside his dead brother. "Fred!" Katie stared at the boy on the floor before her. It looked like George... Though, you never could be too sure. "Fred, you idiot!"

"George, I-" Harry began. But George ignored the boy as at last he cried for his deceased twin...

George sat up awake in bed. The nightmare of that day had come back stronger than ever for the past week. It was driving him insane! He couldn't stand it anymore. He sighed, looking to his right where the bedside table and alarm clock stood. '6:00 am' it read. Turning his gaze to his left, he couldn't help but grin. His eyes swept over Katie, and what a night it had been... The smile faded as his thoughts returned to his nightmare.

How he had kept the secret this long he didn't know. But it was catching up to him. So much so he couldn't bear it. He'd tell her tomorrow. After that... Well, he didn't know what would happen...
