Chapter 2

Ziara stared at her reflection, trying to see if she looked better with her hair behind her ears or not.

'Ziara! It's 10:30! We have to go!' her twin called from the door.

'I'm coming!' Ziara answered. She finally decided it looked better not behind her ears and ran downstairs.

'Jeez, Ziara! You really are so vain,' Zia said to her sibling as they waited for their dad and brother.

'And you're not.'

'Yeah, and I'm not,' her sister shot back.

Ziara shook her head like, "What the hell is wrong with my sister??"

'Come on Dad, it'll take forever to get out the door, let alone get to the car...' Zia pointed out

'Zach!' Ziara called to her brother. 'Get over here!'

Zia and Ziara had matching outfits, because they liked to confuse people, but people could usually tell, because they had such different personalities. Occasionally, they would dress differently, and when they did, Zia would wear sports outfits, as she liked every sport available to her (and was captain and chaser for Ravenclaw), while Ziara tended to wear jean bell-bottoms and shirts that showed off her breasts. (She wore a lot of those.)

'--and here's some sandwiches, and some pancakes, and some--' Zia and Ziara heard their mother say.

They rolled their eyes at each other.

'OK...we're ready--' they heard their dad say.

'And here's some--'

'We're ready!' Their dad ran out the door. 'If I stayed in there, we'd be late.'

They were going to their [wizard] neighbor's house. They didn't have a fireplace, and needed to use Floo Powder.

''Ello,' said their neighbor, Mr. Kelly. 'Using the fireplace, I assume?'

'Yes,' answered their dad.

'Good day, Mr. Kelly,' Ziara said politely, but Zia could tell she was just showing off.

Zia, on the other hand, said nothing...to Mr. Kelly, that is. But she did say something to her sister--'Nearest house to King's Cross!' said their dad--'Why do you always show off like that? It's as disgusting as your vanity.'

'Zia, shut up,' Ziara whispered back--"Nearest house to King's Cross!' said Zach--

'Nearest house to King's Cross!' repeated Ziara.

'Nearest house to King's Cross!' repeated Zia.

Soon they found themselves in a completely different house that was luckily a wizard's; it would have been very odd to a Muggle, and as a matter of fact, it was odd to wizard too; only they knew what was happening at least.

They rushed into King's Cross--just as the clock struck eleven. But mind you, the train didn't exactly come at eleven. But...it did five minutes later.

Zia and Ziara were two of the first people on. But right after they got on, they went to different friends. Zia hung out with Cho Chang and some other friends from the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, while Ziara hung out with Lavender and Parvati (she was in Ravenclaw, but hung out with Gryffindors). Soon the witch with the food trolley came around to Ziara's compartment.

'Anything from the trolley?'

'Sure,' Lavender answered for all of them. 'What do you want?' she asked, indicating Parvati and Ziara.

'Chocolate Frogs, please,' Ziara started.

'--And some Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans,' Parvati continued.

'--Everything, please.' Lavender summed it up.

'That'll be--' and the food trolley witch mentioned some heavy money, that made them all blush.

'Umm...' They all took out their money.

'I think we have enough,' Ziara proclaimed.

The food trolley witch took the money, and gave them of everything she had.

'This is what I call livin',' Parvati announced, as the food trolley witch walked quickly down the aisle.

'That's what I'm talkin' about.' Lavender and Parvati did a high-five.

Meanwhile, over in Zia's compartment, Cho, Zia, and Tonya (another chaser), were digging in as well.

'I can never tell you apart.' Tonya tried to talk with her mouth full.

'But we are SO different,' Zia pointed out.

'Yeah, but that's your personalities,' Cho said. 'You look so alike.'

'But...you must admit...Ziara is very vain, is she not?' Tonya laughed.

'Couldn't be more true,' Cho agreed.

'You have no idea what it's like living with her,' Zia continued. 'All she talks about is boys, boys, boys, boys, oh, and did I mention she talks about boys?'

'Yeah, my cousin's like that.' Tonya sympathized.

'Who--Lavender?' Cho asked, picking up a Bertie Botts' Every Flavor Bean. 'Ugh! Grass!'

'Yea,' Tonya answered. 'Girl never stops talking--about boys, or about anything for that matter.'

'That's my sister,' Zia giggled.

'I can't tell you apart if you're not standing next to each other, wearing identical clothes, and keep your mouth shut,' Cho said.

'Like, if you're going down the hall, rushing to get to class, and then 10 seconds later, your twin comes down the hall too,' Tonya said, putting on her sunglasses.

'Cool shades.' Zia indicated the sunglasses.

'Yea. I got them in Diagon Alley,' Tonya explained. 'You look through them, and you see what people are thinking. They only work for 2 hours, though. Then you have to recharge them for 2 hours. It's kind of annoying.'

Zia and Cho immediately tried to think of nothing, so Tonya couldn't see what they were thinking.

'It doesn't work! How cheap is that??' Tonya took them off.

Cho and Zia giggled to themselves.

'Can I try?' Cho asked, thinking that she'd go outside and see what people are thinking.

'Ummm...maybe later, 'cause I just got them, OK?' Tonya responded.

'OK.'

'Firs' years!' came a voice that seemed to be below them.
