"I can not believe you have to spend the whole summer at a stupid Muggle summer camp because it's for Muggle Studies. You and I could be at the Quidditch World Cup in a couple of weeks or in Spain at the beach or even up in the Swiss Alps enjoying winter in summer. We could also spend all summer at Diagon Alley eating pumpkin pasties and trying to sneak into Knockturn Alley to buy dead severed wearwo-"
"DRACO! We're in a Muggle town! Shut up before they hear you!” hissed Hermione.
"If they hear me they'll just think I'm on one of those Muggle drugs like marriage-I-wanna, or coke'n'cane."
Hermione rolled her eyes and chose to ignore his mispronunciations. "You’re right, come on the bus stops over here."
"Oh my precious Mione, don't leave me,” wailed Draco as he dropped down to his knees.
“If you don't get up I won’t kiss you good bye."
Draco shot up and pulled Hermione closer. Hermione wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I love you Draco, keep in touch."
"Trust me, I will."

The bus was hot and musty. Hermione's legs stuck to the fake leather seats. The bus was rolling along toward this remote, tiny spec of a camp in Scotland. The camp had less then seventy kids attending ages seven to eighteen. Hermione was in the sixteen-year-old girl’s cabin. There were only three other girls in her cabin.
Hermione crashed into the seat in front of her as the bus stopped. She looked up as the most handsome thing she had ever seen stepped onto the bus. He had semi-short blond brown hair, with a pair of indigo colored eyes that were flecked with green. Hermione was so mesmerized by him that when he stopped in front of her seat she didn't notice.
"Um.... can I sit here" he asked?
"S-sure," stammered Hermione
"Hi, my name is Jason. Who are you?"
"I'm Hermione."
"I've never seen you here before. It’s odd to get a newcomer at the camp.” he said. The conversation basically went on like this until they reached the camp.

Cabin number fifteen was located deep in the woods. It wasn't very big and the path that was labeled "This way to the bathroom" confirmed her suspicion that there was no indoor plumbing. Hermione pushed open the door and looked in on her new cabin mates.
She had never seen three people who looked so different in the same confined space before. The girl on her right closest to her was a blond wearing booty shorts, a tight halter top and her bedspread was hot pink and baby blue. She was busy taping magazine articles all over the walls around her many cosmetic cases. The second girl was the neatest person she had ever seen. On the selves above her bed she had everything neatly organized and labled. Her clothing was well pressed and she was debating the stock market on her sleek black cell phone. The third girl had long black hair. She had everything black from her lipstick to the Ozzy Osborne posters that were all around her wall space.
As Hermione walked in the blond girl looked up.
"Well girls, looks like our fourth roommate is here!" she was so perky it was sickening. "Hi, I'm Amy and this is Janice” she pointed at the neat freak. “This over here is Sabrina" she was indicating the gothic girl. “Who are you?"
"I'm Hermione."
Hermione noticed she got left with the bed across from Amy and next to Miss-Queen-Of-The-Dammed.
As she began to unpack her things and set them back up she noticed Janice glaring at her. She was still debating the stock market but Hermione could tell that things were not looking good between the girls already. Hermione had taken pictures of all her friends and family with a Muggle camera before she left so she would have pictures of everyone without them moving around. As Hermione pulled out a picture of Draco she sighed. This was going to be the longest summer of her life.
