Draco strolled down the halls, his cloak billowing behind him. He bumped into several students along the way, but he didn't stop to apologize, he just kept walking. He threw open the doors at the entrance to the school. Warm air hit his face as the doors swung open. He paused, feeling the last glow of the sun on his face. He looked over at the forest. His eyes were mingled with fear and anger. But he had to go or much worse would happen. He determinedly walked towards the forest. He reached the outskirts and peered inside. He took a deep breath and walked inside. After about five minutes of walking, he arrived at a small clearing he knew all too well. Standing in the middle was a man, his long blonde tied back in a ponytail, his cane loyally at his side. Lucius heard Draco apparently, because almost instantly, he twirled around, his sneering face staring his son down.
"Ready to join the Dark Lord?" Lucius asked, his voice dripping evil.
"I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Never," Draco said, staring his father in the eyes. He knew what was next. He tried his best to look unafraid, but his stomach flopped around and he dreaded what was coming.
"Well, Draco, you know what's next. Ready?" Lucius asked, his wand now ready at hand. Draco simply stared at him, gritting his teeth.

Hermione and Harry sat in the empty common room. Hermione was wrapped up in Hogwarts: A History and Harry was reading Quidditch Through the Ages. They were seated in the soft chairs in front of the fire. Harry sighed loudly and put down his book. He walked over to Hermione and sat down on the arm of her chair. She silently closed her book as well, and looked up at Harry.
"Hermione, I was wondering if we could talk about something," Harry said, looking away from her. Hermione frowned and tried to catch his eye.
"Sure, what is it?" Hermione asked kindly. He seemed so serious and so nervous.
"Remember earlier when everyone was like, talking about us?" Harry asked. Hermione nodded her head and thought back to the days events. The second they had walked out of that empty corridor holding hands, the entire school went mad with gossip. Everywhere they went, people were whispering about them, but most in good ways. All except of course the Slytherins were happy for the two. Even some of the teachers gave them a small smile as they passed down the halls.
"Hermione, I felt like it wasn't real. Like it was all a show. And it made me happy," he replied quickly, seeing the look on Hermione's face, "but somehow I feel like we aren't doing what normal girlfriends and boyfriends are doing."
He blushed, his face burning red. Hermione processed the information. It was kind of true. She admitted that it should be a little more intimate. And she actually didn't mind. She stood up and look down at Harry and whispered, "Like this?"
Hermione slowly leaned her head down towards Harry and let her soft lips brush his. Then, she threw her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. He pulled her into his lap and kissed her back. He loved the feel of her lips against his and never anted the kiss to end. But unfortunately, it did. And quickly.
"You guys!" A voice to their right called out, they slowly broke the kiss and simultaneously turned to face Ron. "I thought I told you not to get mushy around me. I can handle that you are dating, but it'll at least a few days for me to be able to cope with you kissing around me."
Hermione and Harry both blushed furiously and gave guilty looks to one other. They both mumbled their apologies, not actually looking Ron in the eye. Hermione got off Harry, trying to regain some of her composure. She crossed one arm across her chest and stared at the floor.
"Um, I think I'll go get some fresh air. I'll be back soon," Hermione muttered. She slowly walked out the portrait hole and quickened her pace once she was in the hall. She soon arrived at the doors and took a deep breath of fresh air. She slowly trudged towards the lake. A million thoughts filled her head. Why did I kiss him? What have I gotten myself into? I am lying to Ron, pretending to date Harry, and still having weird feelings about Malfoy. Malfoy. She thought about that night. It had been so wrong, yet it seemed so right. Why do I feel this way about him? This is Malfoy! Hermione's head swam as she thought about everything. The past week had been overwhelming for her. She was really getting stressed out by everything going on. Maybe I should go see Madame Pomfrey about some Calming Potion. Maybe then I can get my head straight. She sighed and took a seat on the plush, green grass by the lake. Her feelings were jumbled up in her head. Her head told her that the reasonable thing to do was like Harry, but her heart gave a tiny twinge every time she saw Draco. How could I like Draco? She gave a loud sigh. Then, she heard a rustle of leaves behind her from the forest. But there was no wind. She craned her neck around and saw a blonde boy collapse onto the ground.
