Thanks for reading everyone. This isn't my favorite chapter but it'll lead up nicely to the next one, which should be really good! Please review!

Hermione and Draco spent the next few days in the hospital wing. Draco and Hermione did not speak, which only added to the loneliness of the wing. Hermione spent hours simply lying back on her pillows staring up at the ceiling, completely bored, as she had finished her homework on the first day. She honestly did not think she would survive without the visits from her fellow Gryffindors, especially Harry and Ron. Her bones had been healed for quite a while now, but under the watchful eyes of Madame Pomfrey, she hadn't dare tried to move. Now it was the last day she was expected to stay in the hospital wing, and she was ecstatic. Madame Pomfrey came bustling over to Hermione, her arms filled with several different potions.

"Ms. Granger, are you sure you feel strong enough to leave today?" Madame Pomfrey asked nonchalantly, glancing at Hermione.

"Positive," Hermione replied, extremely anxious to escape the wing. Madame Pomfrey nodded and responded, "If that is what you want I will let you go, but I must do one quick check over."

The check went quickly and soon Hermione was finished. "Perhaps you should ask someone to assist you down to your common room?"

Hermione shook her head and slowly raised herself up. She gingerly tested her leg, and though it felt much better, she could still feel a twinge of pain. She winced slightly as she applied weight on it, but hid her expression from Madame Pomfrey. Any sign of pain and Madame Pomfrey would have Hermione back in her bed faster than lightning. She grabbed her schoolbag, loaded heavy with 30 pounds of books and slung it over her shoulder. The bag heavily on her shoulder and she feel her ribs wrench around in her chest.

Hermione bit her tongue, trying to keep from making a sound. She took a step forward and her foot gave out slightly, but she pulled herself into a standing position, hoping that Madame Pomfrey didn't notice. Madame Pomfrey, watching her first step, cocked her head, and then nodded in approval. She dismissed Hermione and strolled over to her office. Hermione noted that she was gone and took the next couple of steps forward. Every step she took hurt, but she handled it. She took her last step toward the door but her foot gave way and Hermione collapsed onto the floor. She winced once again, but no serious damage had been inflicted. She raised herself into standing position again, but as she was about to open the door to the hospital wing, a drawling voice behind her called, "Having trouble, Mudblood?"

Hermione slowly turned around and net Malfoy's eyes. They were cold and steely, gleaming with malice. She answered confidently, "No I am not. And if I were, why would it matter to you?"

"My, my we are a little cranky today huh? Woke up on the wrong side of the bed. See I woke up on the right side of the bed and look how cheerful I am. Get a good night's sleep Granger, You are starting to wear so thin," Malfoy sneered.

"See, Malfoy, when someone wakes up in the same room as you, they tend to get a little cranky," Hermione said, her voice cold like Draco's.

"Imagine they would feel like waking up in the same bed as me. But that's for another time," Malfoy stated, seeing the look of horror on Hermione's face.

"You sick pervert," Hermione said, string at him in complete disgust.

"Lord knows any girl in this school would love to know what it feels like to wake up in bed with me. Any girl," Malfoy said egotistically.

"Not me. Never in a million years," Hermione said through gritted teeth, staring daggers at him.

"You're right about the million year's part. Before I would have said the same. But now that I take a look at you, little Granger has grown up this summer, hasn't see?" Malfoy said, looking Hermione up and down with a grin on his face. Hermione shifted uncomfortably, but she knew it was was true. All the other girls at Hogwarts seemed to have "developed" before Hermione, but finally in Hermione's sixth year summer, she had begun. Draco looked up at her.

"If you weren't a goody Gryffindor and a Mudblood, I might just have bedded you. What a shame. Hot looks put on the wrong girl. Oh well," Malfoy said, staring at Hermione uncomfortably.

"Good day, Malfoy," Hermione spoke sharply before she exited the door. She stepped out and looked down the long corridor of the halls. She groaned at the distance, and closed the door. She rested her head against the door and took a deep breath. Just as she started to walk, the bell rang and students came filing out from their classrooms, heading for their last class for the week. Hermione knew her attempts would be futile to try and cross then and she looked slightly panicked before two voices called out her name.

"Hermione!" They called in unison. Hermione searched the crowd until she found Harry and Ron pushing their way to her.

"You're out?" Ron asked, breathlessly.

"Yes, finally!" Hermione grinned at the two boys, they grinned back and Harry looked down at his clock.

"Um, we have to be in Herbology in five minutes, Harry said, nervously.

"Let's go then, "Hermione said enthusiastically, stepping forward. She swayed on the spot and started to fall. Harry grabbed her and righted her.

"Um, Hermione. Are you sure you are allowed to go?" Harry asked worriedly as he took her bag from her shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks though," she smiled at Harry and continued to walk on, slower than usual. Harry and Ron exchanged looks behind her back and caught up to her. They made it successfully, though a little late and ran through the lesson without more problems.

Malfoy sat quietly in the corner of the classroom watching Hermione and Harry laugh as they cared to their plants. It was just after Hermione left that Draco was released. Harry's eyes lit up every time he talked to Hermione and talked with her lightly. Hermione would smile at Harry and gently brush his hand. He felt a small pang of jealousy but continued to listen to their conversation. Jealous? Why would I be jealous of Wonder Boy? And, it's a Mudblood. He snapped out of his thoughts and listened in on them again.

"We really need to study tonight. Could you two meet me in the library around eight?" Hermione asked Harry and Ron.

"Sure, but we might be a few minutes late, cause we have Quidditch practice. Is that okay?"

Hermione nodded and continued her work. Malfoy grinned. He knew the perfect opportunity to get back Potter. Eight o clock. He knew exactly how to get Potter back...
