Angelique and Draco sat in silence, as the day became evening. One could consider this progress; at least no one was bleeding. Angelique turned her face from the window she was staring out of and found Draco staring at her. "I hate him! This whole mess is his fault. Why is he staring at me?" "Stop staring at me!" Angelique shouted without realization.

"I'm not bloody staring at you." "Was I staring at her? I was wasn't I? This is just fantastic. She better not hit me again."

"Then look the other way." "Brilliant Angelique, what a great come back."

"I can look wherever I damn well please, and I choose to look at you!" Angelique and Draco sat and stared at each other. Well, more like glared at each other for about half an hour. A very baffled Madame Pomfery suddenly interrupted them. She cleared her throat loudly and they turned their heads simultaneously.

"Err... you are both healed," Madame Pomfery said in a very flustered tone, "you may go back to your common room after you eat this." She brought a plate of sandwiches to them and then scurried off. Neither Draco nor Angelique was hungry. This is despite the fact that they hadn't missed a meal since dinner the night before. Angelique stood up to leave, but Draco grabbed her arm and prevented her from going and further. She turned and glared at him, then switched to a look of utter confusion.

" Where are you going?" Draco asked with what seemed like a bit of concern in his voice.

"To the common room...didn't you hear; we're healed?"

"Oh, yeah, I forgot." Angelique couldn't control her laughter from seeing Draco blush. Then she did something that shocked both of them. She leaned down and kissed him forcefully, then walked out of the room.

"Why the fuck did I do that?" she asked herself. "Because you love him," the voice in her head replied. The voice happened to be right, but no one had to know that.

Draco sat stunned on the bed, "Bloody hell! She just kissed me. I liked it. Shit, what am I supposed to do now? Did I just stick my tongue in her mouth? This is twisted. I think I've gone mad.

The rest of the week passed by rather quietly for Angelique and Draco. They went on with their lives in silence; going from class to class without looking at each other. This was made much more difficult by the fact that they shared most of their classes. Everything seemed to be quite normal, well as normal as it could get considering the mental stability of those we are talking about, until that lovely Friday afternoon in the last class of the day, Potions.

Angelique walked to class hurriedly to avoid Draco. She suddenly felt a hand pull her around the corner. She lifted her fist to strike, but stopped suddenly when she realized whom it was. "Don't scare me like that!"

"Sorry," Ron said. He looked upset.

"What's wrong?" Angelique asked looking at her watch. She didn't want to be late for class, but Ron was the only person who was ever nice to her and she wanted to help him if she could.

"You don't have to listen to me whine. I'll be alright; I'm sure you have more important things to do."

"What? No, I mean I want to help you if I can...It's just you know Snape."

"Yeah" Ron said and turned to leave.

"Wait," Angelique said, "screw Snape. Now tell me what's wrong or I'll kick your ass!"

"I'm just sick of the feeling I get around him." Angelique looked confused, but soon figured out who Ron was talking about. "You know today he told me that he and Hermione are dating, and I wanted to cry, but all I could do was smile because he looked so happy."

"I know how you feel," Angelique quietly replied. "I never told you this, but I kissed Draco after you left the other day. He hasn't said a word to me since, and it's driving me insane."

"I don't think you needed Malfoy's help for that." Ron smiled.

"Very funny, now let's go before Snape kills us." Angelique and Ron ran down the hall to be on time for class, but their efforts were futile.

"Mr. Weasley, Miss Champlain-I'm so pleased you have decided to join us," Professor Snape said as Angelique and Ron ran into the classroom, "Twenty points from Gryffindor because I have no doubt this is your fault Weasley." Angelique and Ron sat together in the back of the room. Everyone seemed to notice this uncharacteristic interaction between a Gryffindor and a Slytherin because all eyes, including Snape's, were on them. This only stopped when Snape came to his senses and cleared his throat rather loudly and starting to explain the day's lesson. "Today we will be making a dreadful potion called the Arcenus Cantus draught. It is a very powerful potion that only takes one drop on your skin to work. It makes one sing one's last secret revealed in the form of a song. This potion, however harmless it may seem, has been banned from use due to its revealing nature, therefore, we will not be demonstrating them on anyone" Snape looked very disappointed at this news, but Angelique, Ron, and Neville Longbottom looked very relieved. Snape watched Angelique and Ron very closely during the lesson, and since neither of them had much of a knack for potion making this made them pay extra close attention to their work. Snape only stopped watching them when a pretty Slytherin girl named Tara Taylor called him over and started flirting with him. Snape looked horribly disgusted and this made Neville Longbottom burst out laughing. In the process of doing this Neville managed to knock over Ron and Angelique's cauldron. Snape turned suddenly at this loud noise. "Twenty points from Gryffindor for your carelessness Longbottom. Clean up this mess before it gets on anyone!" But it was a little too late. All of a sudden Angelique and Ron burst into song.

Angelique: Stupid Cupid you're a real mean guy. I'd like to clip your wings so you can't fly. I am in love and it's a crying shame, and I know that you're the one to blame. Hey! Hey! Set me free. Stupid cupid, stop picking on me.

Ron: Can't do my homework and I can't think straight. I meet him every morning bout a half past eight. I'm acting like a lovesick fool. You've even got me carrying his books to school. Hey! Hey! Set me free. Stupid cupid, stop picking on me. You mix me up but good right from the very start. Hey go play Robin Hood with somebody else's Heart.

Angelique: You got me jumping like a crazy clown, and I don't feature what you're putting down. Since I kissed his loving lips of wine. The thing that bothers me is that I like it fine. Hey! Hey! Set me free. Stupid cupid, stop picking on me.

Together: Hey! Hey! Set me free. Stupid cupid, stop picking on me.

The class stood awestruck once again staring at Angelique and Ron. Harry looked shocked, and Draco of course smirked. "Class dismissed." Snape yelled.

"But Professor," Hermione said, "we still have twenty min..."

"I said class dismissed; ten points from Gryffindor for Miss Granger's questioning." Everyone ran out of the classroom except Angelique, Ron, and a very wide- eyed Harry.
