"James, help me bring out some more chairs into the dining room, the Order members will be here any minute!"

As James poked his head out of the kitchen to answer his disheveled looking wife Lily, he heard many faint pops coming from the living room. James frowned, "Looks like they're here already."

It was the last Order of the Phoenix meeting that Lily and James were going to attend and had offered to hold it at their home in Godric's Hollow, the quiet muggle town that James and Lily Potter resided in. After the meeting, they would perform the spell that would make their good friend, and one of James' fellow Marauders, their secret keeper and James and Lily would cut off all contact with the wizarding world and would thus begin their period of hiding.

Dumbledore strolled into the dining room, where the meeting was to be held, "Ah, Lily, you are looking wonderful this evening! Wearing muggle clothes, so as to blend in with your muggle surroundings. Very smart indeed!"

"I, uh...," Lily stammered, looking down at her mid-thigh length skirt and heels she had worn out to lunch with a dear muggle friend of hers that afternoon, "I'll go put on my robes then, shall I?"

"No need, no need." Dumbledore answered jovially, "muggle attire will do just fine for the occasion. We are having a meeting amongst friends and I daresay anyone will mind."

Quiet chatter filled the small room as Order members filed in. Dumbledore sat at the head of the table with Minerva McGonagall to his left and Alastor Moody to his right. Joining them were Arthur and Molly Weasley, the Prewitt brothers, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and some members whom Lily still didn't know the names of. She looked around hopefully and glanced at a missing spot between Lupin and Pettigrew.

"Looking for someone, dear Lily?" a low voice spoke to her quietly.

"Oh Sirius! No, I-I was just making sure we had enough chairs," she stammered, "well, looks like we're all set!"

Dumbledore cleared his throat, signaling the beginning of the meeting and the room fell silent. As Dumbledore performed the roll call and recorded who was present and who was absent, he inquired about each members' previous assignments. As roll call continued, Lily found herself lost in the mundane assignments each member reported on and started thinking about some things she would have to purchase before her and James went into hiding, so as to keep herself from going mad due to lack of human contact.

" - the presence of which surprised me," Dumbledore continued. He looked over at Lily, "Mrs. Potter! We are discussing your Hogsmeade stake-out last Tuesday with you, Mr. Potter and Mr. Pettigrew. Care to add any details?"

Lily snapped out of her daze and quickly erased the glossed over expression her eyes had immediately taken on when Dumbledore had started speaking.

"No, I think you've covered everything," Lily said quickly, "I have nothing to add."

"Good, now we'll move on to Mr. Gideon Prewitt," Dumbledore continued.

Lily sucked in a deep breath of relief. She hated being put on the spot during these meetings. As Gideon continued on about his assignment with Lupin at the werewolf camps, she found herself staring over at Sirius Black. Having seen Sirius only about once every few months after her wedding, she missed him dearly. Dumbledore always put him on the most dangerous assignments where he was gone for months at a time. After the wedding, she began to harbor a secret crush for Sirius, a boy she had detested throughout most of her time at Hogwarts. She grew fond of his long hair and his low, rough voice. His muscular physique didn't hurt her opinion of him either.

Sirius caught her eye and sent her a wink. Lily felt her elbow slip off the table, nearly up-ending her ink pot. She gave a little squeak of surprise. She reached down to retrieve her quill which had fallen onto her left shoe. As she lifted her head back up, she saw Sirius reporting in a laid back, comfortable manner about what seemed to be a very dangerous assignment involving vampires in Eastern Europe.

"Yes, I agree Sirius," Dumbledore said in a louder voice than usual, "it has been a very stressful time since our last meeting. Perhaps a little tea would do, to calm our nerves - "

At the word 'tea' Lily stood up. "I'll go make it," she interrupted, smoothing her skirt as she walked towards the kitchen. She gave a sigh of relief, grateful to be out of that situation. She pushed open the door to the kitchen and reached for the kettle above the stove. Her hands shook slightly as she poured spoonfuls of loose tea leaves into the open kettle. It's just Sirius, she told herself. There was nothing different about him, you just haven't seen him for a while, she tried to convince herself. She turned the stove on, gripped the counter tightly and took three deep breathes. You're only feeling this way because you haven't had sex in over two weeks, Lily. It's a normal part of marriage, get used to it! James has just been a little stressed...

She pulled a loaf of bread down from the cupboard above her head and placed it on a wooden cutting board on the counter. She reached for the serrated bread knife and began hacking a little too vigorously at the bread, sending bits of crumbs flying everywhere. She heard a quiet noise escape out of the kettle. It was somewhere between a whistle and a buzz. It continued as she kept working at the large loaf. Keeping her hands busy was a much better outlet for her pent up sexual energy than staring at Sirius, she told herself. And besides, Sirius was James' best man (and not to mention, his closest Marauder and godfather to Harry)! He would never forgive her if he found out her true feelings towards Sirius. Or would he understand? Not that it mattered. Nothing was going to happen anyways, starting this evening Lily and James would be in hiding and no one, except for Peter Pettigrew, would be able to find them, including Sirius.

The kitchen door let out a faint creek as it swung open, followed by heavy footsteps. She felt a pair of large hands on her hips where her blouse met her skirt. Hopefully this familiar show of affection from James would knock some sense into her, she told herself.

"Hello," said a low, rough, yet familiar, voice.

Lily felt the left corner of her mouth twitch into a smile, "Hello Sirius," she answered back.

Sirius pushed the bottom of her blouse up gently with his fingers and started tracing the intricacies of her lower back with his thumb. He swept back her flaming red hair to one shoulder and placed his lips lightly on her neck under her ear. Under his touch, Lily felt relaxed for what seemed like the first time since the meeting began.

Sirius spun her around and placed his lips on hers. She opened her mouth slightly and their tongues met briefly. He pressed himself against her in a way that was hard, but not forceful and Lily felt the counter dig into her lower back. She also felt his wand dig into her thigh and thought it odd that Sirius kept it in his front trouser pocket. Then, he pulled out his wand from a side pocket of his robes and pointed it in the direction of the dining room and mumbled something that sounded like "muffliato". Lily's eyes expanded into saucers when she realized that it wasn't his wand that was digging into her. She let out a small gasp that was fortunately covered by the sound of the kettle, which had grown into a loud and steady hiss, and the muffliato spell.

Sirius placed his hands back onto her hips and expertly lifted her onto the counter. Lily wrapped her legs around him and pulled him closer as his hands inched their way up her skirt towards the straps of her thong. Sirius smoothly pulled her underwear down her legs, careful not to let it get caught in her stilettos. She reached under his robes and grabbed for his trouser buttons and began working at them until she had his fly fully undone and his pants open. She glanced down at Sirius quickly. "I knew he wore boxers!" she thought to herself. She made a mental note to remind herself to collect the galleon that she had won from her bet with her friend Elizabeth regarding the nature of Sirius' undergarments.

Lily felt herself inch towards the edge of the counter as Sirius pulled her forward. She proceeded to wriggle his boxers down with her thighs in a well practiced manner.

She felt herself fall into Sirius' arms as he entered inside of her. Her breathing became deeper and more frequent as Sirius moved in and out. She clutched onto his shoulder and managed to get a few words out.

"So its true what the Hogwarts girls say about you."

He continued to plant wet kisses on her neck, "Once you go Black," he mumbled, "you never go back."

Lily smiled to herself and wanted to say something about this statement having a slightly different meaning in the muggle world, but restrained herself, wanting to enjoy the moment.

Sirius held onto the sides of her thighs and she began to move her hips with his, trying to get as close as possible to him every time he went into her. He quickened his rhythm and Lily felt the familiar sensation of something rising in her chest that always preceded an orgasm. The hissing kettle started to grow steadily louder.

Sirius's grip grew tighter around her thighs and his body language told Lily that under no circumstance was she allowed to stop doing what it was that she was doing. Lily let out a loud moan and the kettle whistled angrily and drowned her noises out. Sirius' lower body stopped moving and she fell limp, once again, into him. Sirius held her up with one arm and reached over to turn the stove off with the other.

Lily sighed deeply, her heart was pounding and her fingers tingled. She tried to speak, but it came out as an incoherent mumble. Sirius leaned Lily back into a sitting position and tentatively let her go, to see if she could hold herself up. Sirius handed her back her panties and continued to put himself back together.

"I can imagine they're waiting for their tea," Sirius stated in a calm, unfazed voice.

Lily slid off the counter and went back to silently slicing the bread as Sirius poured cups of steaming dark liquid into the Potters' periwinkle blue mugs.

When Sirius placed all the mugs onto a tray, he pointed his wand in the direction of the dining room and muttered, "finite incantatum".

Lily stepped forward, plate of bread in hand, and held the door for Sirius as he brought the hot drinks to dining room.

Lily placed the bread on the table and sat back down as Sirius continued to serve tea to the members.

James leaned over and placed a light kiss on her ear and whispered, "I missed you." Lily turned her face towards her husband and forced a smile. "What were you and Sirius doing in there," he continued, "growing the tea plants from seeds?"

Lily forced a little laugh through her pursed lips, "Yeah, something like that," she said.

Sirius sat down at the kitchen table with Harry, age 15 while the Weasley kids continued their many games of exploding snap in the living room of number 12 Grimmauld Place.

What seemed like a quiet conversation quickly erupted into an argument with Harry yelling at Sirius. Harry pounded his fist on the table violently. At the noise, Fred poked his head into the kitchen.

"Why the angry assault on the kitchen furniture Harry?" Fred inquired with an innocent look, "You can't be that angry at Sirius. Its not like he just told you he shagged your mum or anything."

Harry shot him a glare so full of anger that it actually shut Fred Weasley up.

Sirius closed his eyes and willed this confrontation to be over soon.
