PROPHECY OF THE FIRSTBORN

Prologue

Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and many other titles, sighed. He had just returned from Harry's trial and subsequent sentencing to Azkaban Prison. He wondered where the boy had gone wrong. 'Well, might as well go get this staff meeting over and done with,' he thought to himself.

He had just walked into the room and greeted everyone when the Divination Professor went into a trance and started saying a prophecy.

The prophecy said:

"The Return of the Founders Four is approaching...They will come with an army of the Firstborn to fight against a most terrible evil...Old beliefs shall be challenged but all must unite or all shall die...Ancient oaths shall be fulfilled...The Heir of Kings shall be reborn long ago...The Sword Reforged shall be reclaimed...Ancient secrets shall be revealed...The Return of the Founders Four is approaching, but two innocents must die before"

Everybody was shocked into silence. Dumbledore immediately cancelled the staff meeting and had a full Order of the Phoenix meeting with all of its members. Only one member didn't arrive on time. Dumbledore told all of them the prophecy that he and the Hogwarts staff had just heard. The person who was late arrived as Dumbledore started telling the prophecy and he believed he knew who the two were that the prophecy was talking about. When Dumbledore was finished, he asked is anyone had any idea as to individual people the prophecy meant.

Before anyone could respond, the person who was late, Professor Severus Snape stated, "I know who the two are. The Dark Lord killed one and the other was killed by a friend of his. Before you say anything, The Dark Lord himself said that he was innocent of any charges and he was framed by said friend. I am talking about Harry Potter, who is dead, betrayed and killed by one of his friends. Albus, I need to speak to you about this said friend. The other person who was killed was a Death Eater, but she didn't want to join and in fact was coerced into it by her father. She was apparently dating and in love with Potter and would betray The Dark Lord to rescue Potter. She was caught and killed in front of him, and then he finally died from the loss of blood that was resulted from him being stabbed in the back by a knife. I just want to go on record as saying that I do not know who the traitor is exactly, but you should pray that I never find out who it is because I will show them no mercy. I may have hated Potter, but I didn't want to see him dead, especially at the hands of one of his friends. The person who died trying to save Potter and had been dating him was Blaise Zabini. So I hope you're all proud that you sent an innocent minor to prison and now he is dead thanks to your utter stupidity."

There was utter silence before several people started crying for their 'lost hero'.

Chapter 1

A HOUR EARLIER

Harry was dying. 'How could I have been so foolish not to see Ron's betrayal? There several signs. Worse yet, when he committed the murder, he convinced everyone that I was the guilty party. How could they actually think that I would or even could murder the Dursleys? I know that I hated them, but they were still my family. Now, thanks the betrayal of Ron to the Dark Lord Voldemort, and the betrayal of my friends to me, I'm bleeding to death after literally being stabbed in the back my closest friend.

There is Blaise Zabini, what is she doing here? Voldemort ordered me to be left to die alone. It's supposed to be a type of torture to cause to die alone. How ironic that I'm already alone. I've been beaten and torn down, and now I find out that my girlfriend, the one good thing in my life is a Death Eater. I should be at Platform 9 ¾ leaving on the train to Hogwarts. Instead I get to be a gift to the school. Wait, he is sending my corpse as a gift. Wait a sec, is Blaise trying to heal me?'

"Blaise, did your half-blood master send you in to..." Harry trailed off when Blaise looked up and he saw her tearstained eyes.

"I'm so sorry. I was going to write you a letter and break us up because I don't want to see you hurt. I didn't want to break up but I love enough to have done it even though it would have broken my heart. I was going to heal you as much as possible and get us out of here but the blade caused it to be unable to be healed. Why did I ask you to meet me?"

"Because you have shown me that you are a traitor," replied a cold voice that belonged to Lord Voldemort himself. "Now you must die alongside your lover for we can't have such traitors among us. AVADA KEDAVRA!"

"NOOOOO!" screamed Harry as Blaise's lifeless body fell to the ground and he felt the last of his life force leaving him.

Neither he, nor Lord Voldemort, nor any of the followers on either side of the war knew that Voldemort had started the steps to his own possible destruction along with the final and total destruction of a most ancient evil that is still banished, but not for long.

In another part of the country, four people were getting ready for returning to the castle that they founded 1000 years ago.

In mainland Europe, in another time and age that is 25,000 years in the past, a group of elves led by the Lady Galadriel found two unconscious Elves on the edge of a forest called Lothlorien.

A/N 3: The next chapter takes place in Lothlorien approximately 2000 years before The War of the Ring, or the events of The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien.

A/N 4: I don't mind flames for this posting only. In fact, if you review, could do me a favor and review like you would normally AND send a flame as well? I know this may sound crazy, but I have never posted a fic before and I want the experience of the different types of reviews. Depending on how the flames are, I MAY accept flames on a regular basis.

Also, concerning reviews, I really don't know how to handle them, so for those writers who have written fics and/or have experience with reviews, could you please give me some advice on how to be polite to the reviewers, yet be able to handle it and stay sane?
