Complicating Differences

Harry and Hermione are a happy couple, going strong for about a year. Nothing can come between them. Or not. Hermione keeps having awful dreams, while Harry is away learning more about Aurors. Without Harry, Hermione feels like she has no one to talk to. Ron is girl crazy, and Ginny isn't trustworthy. Who will she turn to? She confides in the last person anyone would think of--Draco Malfoy.

Hermione's lack of sleep catches up with her, resulting in a rather embarassing scene. Draco has a way with the ladies...or a lady. Ron suspects something is up with Hermione and her dreams.

Pansy steps in on this chapter. Hermione gets her share of embarassment and is confronted about her sudden outburst in class by Draco himself. Ron and Malfoy fight.

Draco and Hermione talk - not a deep conversation, but a start - about her dream. Pansy gets a pang of jealousy. And who do we have to thank for that *dun dun dun*... Draco and Hermione! Pansy's upset about this one, and decides not to let the accused off so easy this time around. She's through with those damned cheatin' men. (P.S. Don't expect mushy Draco / Hermione ... yet :D)

Hermione feels ashamed of her feelings for Draco. Pansy and Draco have an argument. Both Draco and Hermione have to come to terms with their changing emotions and growing feelings for one another.
