True Love
Ginny walked slowly across the Hogwarts' grounds. She was not sure what she had just did, but she did know that she wished she hadn't. She had told Draco Malfoy that she loved him. How stupid had she been? She just thought since they were becoming friends that he might, just maybe he would feel the same way. But, she was wrong. Draco has been in complete shock and left almost immediately. Ginny sat down by the lake. She stared into the water; she wanted to do this for the rest of her life. She did not care if she had to kill herself to do this. She stuck her index finger into the lake. It was freezing. Of course it is freezing. Ginny told herself. It is February; it's Valentine's Day. Ginny's heart gave a sickly lurch. Valentine's Day. She had wanted to be with Draco on Valentine's Day. But, that was not going to happen, especially from what they had just talked about. Ginny sighed again. She did not really feel like moving at all. She was tired, she just wanted to go up to her dormitory and curl up in her bed for the rest of her life.
"Ginny," Ginny spun around. It was Draco.
"What? What are you doing here?" Ginny asked. Draco shrugged.
"I just figured we should probably talk," he paused. "You know about the, er, conversation we just had." Draco stared hard at the ground.
"Oh," was all Ginny could muster to say then she added. "I mean, I guess, I mean yes. Yes, we do need to talk."
"Okay," he replied. There was an awkward silence. Ginny wasn't sure whether she should say something or not.
"Well, about what I said-" Ginny started to say, but before she realized what was happening Draco had leaned in and kissed her. Ginny had dreamed this moment before many times, but for some reason now that it was here it was completely different from anything. This wasn't her first kiss, but it was her first one with Draco. Draco pulled away. Ginny looked up into his gray eyes.
"Ginny?" he whispered.
"Yes?"
"I love you too."

Ginny had pulled him aside. Draco had followed her into an empty classroom, wondering what she wanted. I love you Draco. The words ran in his head over and over. And he had pulled away. He had pushed her away. Now that he thought about it, he wished he hadn't. He closed his eyes. He reran the end. He left the classroom. A few minutes later he had heard the entrance hall close. Ginny had gone outside. Draco ran outside. He had to talk to Ginny; she deserved to know how he really felt. She was sitting by the lake. He walked up to her.
"Ginny," he said. She turned around.
"What? What are you doing here?" she asked. He shrugged.
"I just figured we should probably talk," he paused. "You know about the, er, conversation we just had." Draco stared hard at the ground.
"Oh," Ginny said. "I mean, I guess, I mean yes. Yes, we do need to talk."
"Okay," he replied. There was an awkward silence. Draco wasn't sure whether he should say something or not.
"Well, about what I said-" Ginny started to say, but before Draco knew what he was doing, he had leaned in and was kissing her. This was not Draco's first kiss, but he was his first one with Ginny. He had never imagined this before, but it felt different than most kisses he had had with other girls. He pulled away slowly. He looked into Ginny's blue eyes.
"Ginny?" he whispered.
"Yes?"
"I love you too."
