Author's Note:
It's my first D/G ever. Wow, I did not realize that. So please feedbackicize. [grin]

I sit opposite and adjacent to her in the Great Hall every day. The little sister of Ron Weasley--the little, practically disowned sister of Ron Weasley. Ginny's *evil*. Well, not evil--that would be *too* funny--but her brothers are ashamed of her.

She sits alone every day. Occasionally, Ophelia Hammond will walk over and the two of them will engage in small hateful banter. Since the beginning of the year, I've become a master at Eavesdropping spells, as well as at hiding the fact that I'm not listening to Blaise's and Pansy's mindless blather.

She dyed her hair black and straightened it sometime over the summer. Her long, neatly filed nails are black, as well. When she first got on the Hogwarts Express at the beginning of the term, you could have heard a pin drop. People gasped and moved out of the way, terrified that she would perform a Cruciatus spell on those in her path. They whispered to each other in harsh, thick sounds, words tumbling out as if their minds were overloading. The Hufflepuffs especially--Hufflepuffs love to gossip. Probably because they need some easily digested material to stuff into their brains. Not that there's much room in there.

Potter and the Weasel followed her onto the train, faces like identical beets. They weren't left alone the whole train ride. Everyone wanted to know what had happened to Sweet Little Ginny. Had she had another traumatic experience over the summer? Had she suddenly become a Death Eater? Was she going to blow up the school?

Their questions were never answered. Harry and Ron muttered some unintelligible things and refused to respond to any more questions. When the mobs turned to the twins, they laughed and shut the door in everyone's faces. Probably went to go shag.

She doesn't talk to anyone anymore unless she's spoken to. Ophelia taunts her (the mindless twit) and she retorts. Potter asks her how she's doing, and she replies sullenly that she's fine. Snape challenges her, and she answers his questions with confidence. He won't admit to it, but she's his new teacher's pet. In his twisted way. Maybe he has some sort of crush on her.

I think it's precious. Ginny Weasley dyes her hair, and the rest of the world freezes in fright, as if black hair makes her a more powerful and a more dangerous witch. I want so badly to play a little game with her. My favorite game in the world...a little game I like to call Confuse and Bruise. Compliment her, fuck her, and leave her to rot. See how tough Little Ginny is then.

And they say I'm not evil.

I wonder if she knows I'm stalking her. That I follow her every move and watch her every expression. My unhealthy obsession with her. How much I ache to hurt her and make her cry. The way that idea makes me so hard I could shatter.

I wonder if Little Ginny Weasley will be able to shock even me.
