A solitary young man stood before a large polished mirror with taloned stands.

It was no ordinary mirror. It's not the painstakingly fine carvings that makes it special. Nor the peculiar message it bore.

It's the mere soft tingling sensation one would feel in its presence that proves its eminence.

Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi

The boy ran one of his unnaturally long fingers across the ancient words. He smiled dreamily.

Before him was a scene of gory glory. Though the mirror produce no sound, the image alone was enough to make most wet their pants through and whimper for their mother.

Ah, 'most', you see, is the key.

For he was no ordinary boy.

True, he looked nothing out of average. He wouldn't be considered good looking, a blue-black mop of dark hair, tall lanky body, zits and pimples littered his pale, tired face. He had his hands stuffed casually into his robe pockets, head tilting sideways.

Though a small haunted smile played at the sides of his thin lips betrays the his normality, giving him a look of chilling wisdom and hunger far beyond his yeas. He looked altogether...eerie.

He saw in the mirror, the entire world, or rather, what's left of the world, cowering at his feet. Defeated, tamed, forever conquered. Cadavers and mangled corpses litter the blood soaked ground of those that dare to oppose him. It was beautiful to his eyes.

Wild dogs gnawing at still warm flesh-

Ravens pecking at dead eyes still staring in horror-

Snakes slithering across the wasted terran-

He shook his head, dark eyes glowing an unearthly light.

"I will make this reality," His voice was barely above a hoarse whisper,

"just wait."
