Vendetta

Harry declares a vendetta against Draco Malfoy and his lowlife cousin Dudley for sexually assaulting Ginny in order to get revenge on him.

Harry is concerned because Ginny has not shown up for their Quidditch practise and has no idea why-- not until Neville runs onto the pitch with the unsettling (and infuriating) answer.

Ginny is taken to St. Mungo's for treatment and remains for two days; when it's time for her to go home, Harry goes with her.

Harry takes his friends and Ginny to Diagon Alley to get their school supplies for the coming year. After Ron and Hermione leave, Harry takes Ginny on a walk through Hogsmeade and they re-affirm their feelings for each other. Shortly after that, he takes her to the Muggle doctor for a checkup.

Harry and Ginny have a study date near the Burrow, taking along a picnic lunch, and at one point they indulge in a bit of romance.

After arising the following day, Harry discusses the latest developments--both personal and legal--with Ron and Hermione.

Ron and Hermione go to the Wizengamot to give testimony on Harry's behalf.

Harry maintains a vigil at Ginny's bedside. Along with Ron and Hermione, he manages to tell her just what happened to her. After they leave, they share some quality time together--and in the end he proposes to her.

Harry takes Ginny to Hogsmeade and gets her a trinket to indicate his continued love for her. Some days later, Harry has his seventeenth birthday and Ginny has a gift of her own for him...and not necessarily the kind you buy.

After a passionate night, our lovers share an equally passionate morning. Not too long afterward, they hear that Draco has been arrested and Harry manages to persuade Ginny to take rape counseling. At one point he is even interviewed by someone from the
