Author's Note:
(This is set during the summer before 7th year) Well, I got this idea after my friend from middle school called me a few nights ago and he asked me the question (or at least I think he did) that Ron will ask Hermione. Not much H/Hr action because it is mostly Hermione’s POV talking about Ron’s letters. I hope you like it because I wrote it in about 10 minutes and keep in mind that it is not Beta-ed. Hermione might seem a bit OOC but we have to remember that she is a young woman and we do have our wants and needs. Dedicated to everyone who is out there looking for that special someone.

Dumb Little Questions and Comments

Stupid Ron. He can be so infuriating sometimes. I got an owl from him yesterday. He was rambling on about his new play thing. Then he had the nerve to as me how was the boyfriend business. Honestly!

I haven't replied.

!@*^@*^@*^@*^@*@^*@!

I finally replied to his letter:

Ron:

I admit: it isn't very fun being boyfriend-less; it isn't very fun being single. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want that someone to make me feel loved (and not in a brother-type way Ron!).

Love,

Hermione

I received his owl 40 minutes later:

Hermione,

Why? It's wicked being single. You aren't tied down to anyone and you can do whatever you want with whoever you want to! You want to be together with the first bloke you get forever?

-Ron

So naturally I wrote back. Being Ron (and a male), he doesn't understand what it is like to be a girl (well, a woman in my case). Here my owl:

Ron:

I realize that you have the emotional capacity of a teaspoon but some of us don't. As for your question: I am obviously not going to stay with the first boyfriend that I have forever. I just want someone who I can owl when I'm feeling down; someone who can make me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world when in reality I am not; someone who I can call (assuming they are either Muggle, Muggle-born, or at least Half) when I want to say "Goodnight"; someone who I can cry on; someone that...someone to , love me. And yes, I realize that I probably won't find him right away...but when I do I'll hold on as much as possible. I could imagine your confused face right now so don't try to understand this letter. It's just the rambling of a girl.

Love,

Hermione

He made me feel so depressed. Damn him for making me feel so lonely! This probably seems way out of character for me. *sigh* I don't know...my head feels so scrambled and my heart, oh, it hurts so much. I don't know how such a little comment and question could affect me so much. What do I look like to the male population of Hogwarts? Ugly? Another bushy-haired girl? Nothing but a know-it-all bookworm Gryffindor? Maybe. Oh, an owl just came in. It's from Ron. I gasped at the 10 simple words that he wrote and I let the letter flutter to the ground:

Hermione,

That guy has always been Harry...hasn't it?

-Ron

Author notes: That's all folks! What did you think? Loved it? Hate it? Please review. Constructive criticism is always welcomed! But you have to review. At least a little one...please!
For my friend: Did that answered your question? I hope that you actually read this. If you did call me at my house, okay? But put Amy on the phone in case my mommy answers (rolls eyes).
Everyone else: PPPPPLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE REVIEW!
