Anything for Love

Hermione went running to Ginny with the History of Magic Notes paper clutched tightly in her hand. Hermione found her in the library, studying.

"Ginny..." Hermione leaned on her knees, the paper still in her hand.

"Hermione! What's wrong, what happened?" Ginny stood up and came toward her.

"Ginny... I just... found out... that I... have a-a MAJOR... almost obsessive crush... on R-Ron..." Hermione said through fast breathing.

"Finally, I thought you were never going to figure that out!" Ginny put her hands on her hips and smiled at Hermione.

"Yeah, well... I need your help! I came up with a plan, but I'm not sure if I should carry it out..." Hermione said sitting down, showing Ginny the paper.

Ginny quickly skimmed the page, her eyes widening with every second.

"So...? What do you think? A through simple crush or something--?" Hermione started nervously.

"A SIMPLE CRUSH! Are you crazy? This is-- is a--a definite obsession, Hermione! I mean: 'try to get closer to him and do crazy things to get him to love me'? But the plan is pretty good! I'm all for it!" Ginny finished smiling widely.

"Really, the part about classes and everything?" Hermione asked raising her eyebrows.

"Duh! Apart from you two finally getting together, it'll help you rest from all that extra work you do almost daily!" said Ginny almost standing on her chair.

"Ginny, you can calm down now, I still have to make the pledge AND you have to do the promise spell on me..." Hermione said nervously eyeing the parchment.

"Okay, repeat after me... I, Hermione Juliet-Lavender Granger, hereby pledge that I will..." Ginny started reading the parchment.

"I, Hermione Juliet-Lavender Granger, hereby pledge that I will," Hermione repeated gulping slightly.

"... Do everything that it takes to win Ronald Christopher Weasley's heart even if it means..." Ginny continued.

"... Do everything that it takes to win Ronald Christopher Weasley's heart even if it means," Hermione said her eyes widening and her voice getting shaky.

"... Dropping extra credit, studying hours, and even joining the Gryffindor House Quidditch Team!" Ginny finished pulling her wand out, ready to do the spell as soon as Hermione finished the pledge.

"Pledgus Promisio!" Ginny yelled as her wand shot out silver light and hit Hermione square in the chest.

She floated a few inches from the floor, the spell illuminating her. Suddenly the spell in front of Hermione turned into a giant heart and shrunk until it was small enough to fit into the left side of Hermione's chest. It slowly disappeared into Hermione and she fell to the ground panting. Ginny went running over to her.

"Hermione! Are you okay, did the spell damage you in any way, if I did something wrong...! Oh, please, say something!" Ginny exclaimed, helping Hermione to a chair.

Hermione slowly brought her head into straight position; her eyes had a dazed look on them, and then she smiled dreamily.

"Ron, you're mine..." Hermione's head then drooped to the side and she fell into deep sleep...
