That's the night that the lights went out in London

That's the night that they hung an innocent man

Don't trust your soul to no Knockturn Alley lawyer

'Cause the judge in the town's got bloodstains on his hand

I saw him enter the pub door around 7,my big-shot, big brother the Auror. Maybe this time he'll find all the lies that have been kept from him all these years. The lies that his best friend and his beautiful bride have kept from him.

He was on his way home from Candletop

Been two weeks gone and he thought he'd stop

At the pub and have him a drink before he went home to her

Before I could even say Quidditch, he took a seat next to his best friend, the person who has crushed my heart again and again. They both have perfect lives, a huge house, wives, and loads and loads of money. While I have to work my tail off trying to afford a ruddy old flat in downtown London. Did anybody ever think to help the baby of the family, No. Without even noticing my presence, he gets into a deep conversation with Harry.

Harry Potter said hello

He said "Hi what's ya doing"

Harry looks worn, tired, to old for his age. If I was with him, he would have a smile on his face everyday. Well, he'll soon have a smile on his face, because tonight he's meeting some old friends. I wonder what they are talking about, maybe today is my lucky day, and Harry will finally tell him.

Harry said "Sit down I got some bad news that's gonna hurt"

Said I'm your best friend and you know that's right

But your young bride ain't home tonight

Since you been gone she's been seeing that Krum boy, Victor.

I turn and gaze at my brother while he breaks a bar stool; YES!! Harry told him. Tonight is the night; tonight belongs to me! Tonight, I get what I deserve. Tonight, I can sleep in peace.

Now he got mad and he saw red

Harry said boy don't you lose your head

'Cause to tell you the truth I've been with her myself

There goes Ron and the famous Weasley temper out the door of the pub. Hands in his pockets, Harry soon follows. The trio is no more, my mission is half over. I hope Harry is happy that he doesn't have any best friends anymore. If he have paid any mind to me, I would have been there to comfort him.

That's the night that the lights went out in London

That's the night that they hung an innocent man

Don't trust your soul to no Knockturn alley lawyer

'Cause the judge in the town's got bloodstains on his hand

I decided I have had enough medicine (rum) tonight, and stumbled out of the bar, following Harry.

Harry got scared and left the bar

Walking on home 'cause he didn't live far you see

Harry didn't have many close friends and he just lost him one

I don't have any remorse, I don't have any pity for what has happened in this quiet little town. I continue down the road, but I stop so Harry doesn't see me. I also look around to see where Ron went. Seems to me he went home, probably to try and prove Harry wrong.

Ron thought his wife must've left town

So he went home and finally found the only thing

Fred had left him and that was a wand

I quietly hide behind a bush and wipe the sweat off my brow after the deed was done. Suddenly, I hear the cracking of a twig, and I turn around to see Ron sneaking up to Harry's house.

He went off to Harry's house

Slipping through the back alleys quiet as a mouse

Came upon some tracks too small for Harry to make

Quietly and quickly, I dart down the road just as the seven o'clock wizard patrol comes around. They established the patrol after Voldemort was gone.

He looked through the screen at the back porch door

He saw Harry lying on the floor

In a puddle of blood and he started to shake

As soon as I make it to the main road again, I see sparks from Ron's wand shoot up. I hear the fear in his voice as he talks to the two patrol men. The deed is almost complete, I am almost sane again.

The Wizard patrol was making their rounds

So he fired a spark just to flag 'em down

And a big bellied sheriff grabbed his wand and said

"Why'd you do it?"

A smile creeps on to my face as I see the patrol men leading my brother into the enchanted car in handcuffs. As soon as the car takes off, I follow it. I follow it all the way to the courthouse (It was too late to go the ministry). Roughly, they pull my brother out of the car and dragged him into the building. All the way he was pleading with them, that it wasn't him and Harry was his best friend. Pretending to be a nice sister, I enter the building and say to the men, "Could I use your floo powder, this is my brother and I would like to tell my mother before he is six feet under." They say yes, of course and I walk over to the fireplace. That was the worst floo call I ever made. My mother was practically tortured right on the spot, and my father looked like a ghost. I told them to come quickly, the trial was in 10 minutes.

Finally, they come and the trial begins. All my family could afford was a cheap lawyer from Knockturn Alley, so you knew Ron was a goner. Sure I loved my brother, but the thing that did him in was the lack of love he had for me.

The judge said guilty on a make believe trial

Slapped the sheriff on the back with a smile and said

Suppers waiting at home and I gotta get to it

My mother collapsed right on the spot and said "Don't take him, he's done nothing wrong!"

But it was more awful than she thought, because he was guilty of murdering Harry Potter, THE Harry Potter, he was sentenced to hang. Hanging was a method that hasn't been used in years. So in a matter of seconds, the patrolmen brought out the hanging stand, and lead my brother up on it. My father led my mother away from the sight because she couldn't stand to watch that. So, here I was the only one in our family to watch my brother hang. His face was solemn, his teeth were clenched, and his brilliant blue eyes were dulled.

Well they hung my brother before I could say

The tracks he saw while on his way

To Harry's house and back that night were mine

With a quick jolt of the platform, my brother was dead in an instance. They asked me what my family would like to do with the body, and I said bury him next to Harry. I thought to myself at least he'll be by one of his friends, because the other will be missing forever.

And his cheating' wife had never left town

And that's one body that'll never be found

You see little sister don't miss when she aims her wand

I walked back to the pub after the whole ordeal and sit back on my stool, I took a sip of rum, and stared at the door my brother walked through just 2 hours ago.

This was my night.....my time....and yet my brother still stole it from me.

That's the night that the lights went out in London

That's the night that they hung an innocent man

Don't trust your soul to no Knockturn alley lawyer

'Cause the judge in the town's got bloodstains on his hand
