The hand clamped over her mouth awakened Ginny. She immediately began to struggle, until she realized it was Draco's voice whispering to her, demanding that she be quiet. He let her go, and she gazed around the still dark room, listening to the rustling cloaks and footsteps in the hallway. They held very still as they saw figures walking through the living room, and into Ron's room. Hermione screamed, and Ginny jumped up to go help her friend. Draco grabbed her wrist and held her back.

"Wait here," he whispered, stealing into Trisana's room. He returned carrying the sleeping girl, and deposited her on the couch next to a terrified Ginny. He snuck over to Ron's bedroom door, and listened.

"Tie them up quickly, and don't let the bitch scream again," came a harsh, whispered voice. "We want to take the child asleep, so there is less struggle, for she is more powerful than even her father knows."

Draco went back to the couch, picked up Trisana, and beckoned for Ginny to follow him out the door. "What about Ron and Hermione?" she hissed.

"We can't help them. They're being tied up as we speak, and the longer we wait to leave, the less chance we have of getting Trisana out. They're after her."

"What? Why?" Her mouth hung open.

"I don't know. One of them said something about her being powerful. All I know is we need to get out." The bedroom door handle started turning. Draco thrust Tris into Ginny's arms and shoved her out the door, pulling his wand out, and following. They hurried down the walkway, hearing the angry curses behind them when the men found Trisana's bed empty.

"Wait," Ginny stopped short.

"We don't have time, we have to get out of here," Draco grabbed her shoulder to hurry her along.

"No, Ron has dad's car!" Draco looked at her doubtfully. "It flies!"

"Okay, lead the way."

They ran along the bushes, trying to make as little noise as possible, wondering how long it would take before the intruders finished searching the house and they were discovered outside. They snuck into the garage door and Draco indicated that Ginny should be quiet opening and closing her door. Draco went for the driver's door, and Ginny sat in the passenger's seat with Trisana across her lap.

At the sound of the car turning on there were shouts and the sound of footsteps pounding toward the garage. Draco stepped on the accelerator and drove through the garage door. He pulled the wheel down, and the car soared up into the sky.

"Well that was a close one, good thinking Ginny!" Draco glanced at Trisana and Ginny. Ginny was pale and shaking. "Uh, are you okay?" Draco asked awkwardly, not having much experience with comforting people.

"I-I'm fine. But what about Ron and Hermione? Do you think they'll kill them?"

"No, I don't. They'll need them to make Trisana cooperate with them," Draco assured her, not really believing his own words, but hoping they would do something to calm Ginny. "Look, when Tris wakes up we can't tell her what's going on. We don't want to scare her, or make her think her dad's in any kind of danger. We'll tell her Hermione and Ron wanted some time alone, and we wanted to spend more time with her, so we're taking her to..." he paused, considering where they could go.

"My place isn't safe, but we could go to Harry's house. He'd know what to do," Ginny suggested.

"What makes you think I don't know what to do? Maybe I have a plan!" Draco sounded hurt.

"Well do you?"

"Do I have a plan? Well...no, but I don't want to go to Harry for help. He and I hate each other, remember?"

"Can't you put aside your hate for Harry just this once, since this happens to be kind of important?" Ginny demanded.

"No."

"Draco Malfoy, here I thought you were turning soft, but no, you're still the arrogant asshole you always were. If you don't take us to Harry's house right now, I will take Trisby myself on the Knight bus!" she half-shouted.

"Oh really? And how do you intend to do that? With your newfound ability to walk on air? We are above the clouds, in a car that I currently have control of, so you're not taking Trisana anywhere! Now I suggest you shut up and let me think of a plan!"

Ginny pulled her wand out and pointed it at Draco, opening her mouth to utter some incantation or other, but she never got to it. Draco pointed his own wand at her, almost lazily.

"Expelliaramus. Has anyone ever told you you're cute when you're angry?" he asked as her wand sailed into his hand. She made a low growling sound in her throat.

"Can't anyone get any sleep around here?" muttered a groggy Trisana, her eyes fluttering open.

"Sorry sweetheart, we'll be quieter. We're just taking you on a trip to see Uncle Harry, but you go back to sleep, and we'll wake you when we get there." Ginny shot a triumphant look at Draco, which he met with an evil glare, as he muttered about being outsmarted by a Weasley.

"What were you guys arguing about?" Tris asked, drifting back to sleep as she spoke.

"Nothing, we weren't arguing about anything," Ginny cooed at the already sleeping girl.

"I hate you," Draco informed her.

"That's fine," Ginny said smugly, and began giving directions to Harry's house.
