"Hey, how did Weasley produce such a cute kid?" asked Draco. "Oh right, Fleur's sister helped, so she's part veela. She does kind of look like you though, it's rare to see even a part veela with red hair!"
"How do you know so much about veela?" Ginny asked.
"I am part veela. Didn't you know? I know," said Draco, grinning mischievously, "that you've at least felt the attraction to me."
Ginny flushed. Could this be why she had been so in love with Draco? But no, he even had an effect on her when he wasn't around; even the mere thought of him could get her heart pumping. Draco laughed.
"I know what you're thinking. I can read your thoughts through your eyes, just like an open book.
"Shut up, Draco."
"Are you ever going to introduce me to your cute friend, Aunt Ginny?" asked a sleepy voice, startling them both. Ginny blushed, wondering how a three-year-old could be so grown up.
"Trisana, this is my friend Draco Malfoy," she explained.
"The one daddy hates? Why were you two fighting?"
"Yes, the one your daddy hates, and we weren't fighting, we were just arguing about something silly. You should go back to sleep, sorry we woke you up."
"It's okay, I'm not tired, and I want to play a game. Let's play chess."
"It's pretty late Tris, maybe we should play some other--"
"I'll play chess with you," interrupted Draco, "and if you're half as good as I hear your daddy is you'll probably beat me."
"Draco--" protested Ginny.
"Oh come on Aunt Ginny, just one game," pleaded Trisana.
"Yeah, come on Aunt Ginny!" chimed Draco mockingly.
"Well, alright then."
A long 1-½ hours later Ginny and Draco collapsed on the couch in the living room.
"Weasley's going to be in for a surprise when he finds out his daughter's taken to 'Uncle Draco' quite well, isn't he?" Draco looked absolutely gleeful at the idea of further angering Ron.
"Is that the only reason you were so nice to Tris?" asked Ginny in irritation.
"No, I really do like her. I don't like kids much, but she's really smart for her age. She must have inherited that from her mother's side, cause she sure as bloody hell didn't get that from Ron." Ginny whacked him. "Of course her looks, aside from the Veela-esque look, seem to have come from you, and she's very beautiful." Ginny blushed as she looked at Draco, who said everything with an unreadable expression on his face.
"Shall we watch a movie?" attempting to cover up the awkward silence. "Ron bought a muggle television for Tris, and they've got some pretty good videos too." They put "Grease," one of Ginny's favourite's, into the VCR, and before she knew it, she had drifted off to sleep."
"Oh great, now they're sleeping together too? Bloody hell, I ought to kill the sod while he's sleeping!" Ron hissed.
"Oh Ron, they're just sleeping! Look, they must've fallen asleep watching the telly!" Hermione whispered back. "Let them sleep here tonight. I can too if you like." She gave him her most seductive look.
"His arm is around her!" Ron argued, missing, or choosing to ignore, the sexy fluttering eyelashes. Draco moaned and snuggled closer. "That's it, I'll kill him!" Ron started rolling up his shirt sleeves.
Draco tumbled off the couch laughing. "The...day...you..." he choked out, and then waited until his laughter subsided to continue, "kill me, pigs will fly."
"That can be arranged," Ron pulled out his wand.
"STOP IT!" came Ginny's aggravated voice from the couch. "We were just watching 'Grease' and fell asleep, and...oh, I don't have to explain to you! Just put that wand away before you hurt yourself!" Draco doubled over in laughter, hardly able to breathe. "Now, since you're back, and it's late, we're going home. Goodnight!"
"So now your home is his home too?" Ron demanded.
"Goodnight Ron!" Ginny said, trying to avoid another argument.
"Fine! Goodnight!" Ron struggled to contain his anger, while his beet red face deceived him. Hermione elbowed him. "Ow, wha-" Hermione cleared her throat and gave him a meaningful look. "Oh, right, you guys can stay here tonight if you want," he mumbled quietly.
"What? Oh, no, we don't want to impose. It's fine, we'll go home," Ginny said.
"No, it's fine, really. You both babysat for me, it's the least I can do," Ron replied regretfully.
"Well okay then, thanks Ron," Ginny said cheerfully, as Draco's jaw dropped in shock and dismay.
"There's two couches, one for each of you," Ron said pointedly. "Goodnight."
"I can't believe I'm sleeping at a Weasley's house," Draco muttered at Ron and Hermione's retreating backs.
"Hey, I'm a Weasley, you ungrateful sod," Ginny said, swatting him playfully.
"Oh yeah," Draco replied, deep in thought.
