Chapter One
Harry Potter walked away from the lake at Hogwarts
School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, his mind set on killing Voldmort.
Voldemort had done enough damage to the world all ready. He had killed Mr.
and Mrs. Weasley, Percy Weasley, Mr. and Mrs. Granger, and had personally
killed Wormtail also know as Peter Pettegrew.
Harry’s instinct took him to Voldemort. Once his
feet stopped in front of the place he was going to fight Voldemort, Harry
couldn’t believe it. He was standing in front of Hagrid’s hut.
Harry took out his wand, closed his eyes and took a deep breath, then
walked toward the hut. His feet clunked on the familiar wooden steps. He
reached for the big wood door, and flung it open.
Voldemort sat in the large red armchair, looking as
horrible as ever. His skin was yellow-ish, his nose flat with slits for
nostrills, and horrible red eyes.
“Ah, Harry,” Voldemort said in a hissing
but crackling voice, standing up. “We meet again.”
“Yes,” Harry said. “And it should be
our last.”
Voldemort laughed; his high, cold laugh. Harry shivered
and remembered his memory about when his parents were killed. Then
Voldemort flung out his wand.
“Your wand can’t kill me,” Voldmort
said.
“Oh yeah?” Harry said, concentrating,
because for the Killing Curse he needed a lot of power and concentration.
Just then, the wood door swung open, and Hermione
Granger came in, wand raised. Voldemort turned slowly and smiled,
chuckling. Harry knew was was going to happen.
“Hermione! Watch out!” he yelled. But he
was to slow. As soon as he had started talking a stream of green light came
out of Voldemort’s wand and shot into Hermione’s chest. Harry
watched her choke then be still. Harry couldn’t believe it. Now he
was angry.
Harry watched as Voldemort turned back to him.
“You killed my friend,” Harry said in a choked voice.
“Of course, Harry,” Voldemort said.
“She would be such a pain to me, just like you are.”
That sentence made Harry boil. With his fury, he
conjured up the most powerful Killing Curse, and killed Voldemort. Harry
stood breathing hard, watching Voldemort dissolve, his screams ringing
through Hagrid’s Hut.
Harry Potter had killed Voldemort, but he didn’t
care. Hermione was dead. Why Hermione had come after Harry, he didn’t
know. But he did know that she was gone and wouldn’t be coming back.
**
A long black limousine came to a stop. The back door
openned, and a tall red head, with a mustache, in a black suit stepped out
of the door. Another man got out on the limo behind the red head. He had
black hair, green eyes, and glasses, also dreassed in a black suit.
Harry Potter turned around and helped another red head
out of the limo. This Weasley was Ginny, in a black dress, and hat, and a
blank look on her face.
“Here, Gin,” Ron said, holding out his arm
for his little sister.
Harry closed the limousine door, and the next limo
pulled up. Harry openned that one’s door, and helped and ancient
looking Albus Dumbledore out, then an ancient looking Minerva McGonagall.
The next limo was extremely tall and blocky. Harry openned a door as tall
as him, and stood away as Hagrid climbed out. He gave Harry a nod, then
walked off. The next limo pulled up and Harry opened the door, but
didn’t help anyone out. Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson, Vincent
Crabbe, and Gregory Goyle all piled out of the limo.
“Draco,” Harry said.
“Harry,” Draco said.
“How’d you get Crabbe and Goyle to
come?”
“Just asked them.”
“And Pansy?”
“She’ll go anywhere with me.”
Harry nodded, and Draco and his fellow Slytherins
walked off.
The rest of the limos came up, holding Lavender Brown,
Parvati Patil, Neville Longbottom, Oliver Wood, Fred and George Weasley,
Bill Weasley, Justn Finch-Fletchley, Professors Sprout, Trelawney,
Flitwick, and former Lupin, Seamus Finnigan, and other friends of Hermione
Granger.
Hermione’s casket was set upon a red carpet; a
priest in black robes standing at the head of it. A man was giving out
roses, but Harry nor Ron needed one. They had brought their own flowers,
cursed so that they would never die. Harry had two roses and Ron had
one.
The priest had started to speak: “We are gathered
here today, to mourn the death of Hermione Juliet Granger.” People
started walking up to the casket, and putting their roses and flowers on
it, each saying something. Harry and Ron stayed in the back, wanting to be
the last. When it was their turn, Harry said:
“You go Ron.”
“All right,” Ron said, walking up to the
casket. He placed the rose on the casket. “That one’s for our
friendship.” Then he took something out of his suit jaket pocket. It
was a velvet box. Ron openned it, and Harry stared. It was an engagement
ring. Ron set it on the casket opened, and then stopped.
“Priest?”
The priest looked up from the little book he was
holding. “Yes?”
“Can I put it on her?”
“Yes,” the priest said. He moved all of the
flowers off the casket and opened the casket. Hermione lay with her hands
across her heart. Ron took one of her hands and put his rose in it, then he
took out the gorgeous engagement ring and slipped it on her left ring
finger. “And that’s for us. I was gonna aske you after Harry
came back. But, just so you know, I love you Hermione.” Then he
kissed her cheek. He walked away, with tears in his eyes. Then Harry walked
up.
“This is for our friendship,” he said
putting one of the roses down. “And this one for saving my
life,” his voice cracked, as he put the last rose down. He looked at
her for a long time, then walked away, a tear rolling down his cheek.
Author notes: Next Chapter. I'm not gonna tell you anything about the next chapter, and about Hermione's friends and family talk about how her death affected them.
Oops. I shouldn't have said that. I really shouldn't have said that. ;-p
The end of this story was cut off, so please look for these lines: "his voice cracked, as he put the last rose down. He looked at her for a long time, then walked away, a tear rolling down his cheek."
Thanx and sorry about that!!!!!!
