The Diary of Lisa Turpin

Galadrielkitten

Story Summary:
Lisa Turpin gets no credit, so I wrote a fic for her. in it she talks about her mad crush on Seamus, (another good character who gets no credit,) and her friendship with Draco Malfoy. It gets better later, I promise!

Chapter 02

Chapter Summary:
Rating PG-13 just to be safe. In this chapter we find out who Draco likes. This chapter was so much fun to write because i think it's pretty funny. I hope you like it. I suppose some thanks should go to my beta Cory, although we are currently fighting, I think. Our situation is currently very confusing. But she didn't have to revise it at all, because she said she read it and liked it! I hope you do too. Sorry it took so long, I'm working on the 3rd chapter now! REVIEW!!!

Hiya! I'm back and feeling very happy because Snape didn't fail me like I was anticipating he would. I actually passed with a B. Is it just me, or is the way Snape says 'Good Afternoon' really, really, funny? I'll have to ask Seamus.

Love,

Lisa

Grrrrr....Draco is gone for a whole week because his birthday is in two days. Then he'll be 16. I'm so happy for my little sweetie-darling. Ha! I get to call him little because over the summer I shot up 3 inches and now I'm 5'11. He's only 5' 10. That's not that far though, he only needs another inch! The reason I'm so mad about it is because I was soooo close to figuring out my little mystery!

I'm not crazy! The way Snape says 'Good Afternoon' IS really funny. Or at least to Seamus. He also says; "have you ever noticed the way he sneaks up behind the poor little first years, who are scared enough I might add, and says, 'Good Afternoon. Now what would these young Gryfindors be doing inside on a day like this? You might want to be careful, people might think you're.....Up to something.' And he only does it to people who aren't in Slytherin! I'm afraid he's going to rape them or something. It's scary! But I do think his voice is very funny, he sounds like a dying toad or something.'

Ha! That'll be something to tell Draco! Snape's his favorite teacher!

Until tomorrow,

Lisa

I hate Arithmancy sometimes. It's hard, and our teacher is a real interesting guy. His names Mr. Blanchard and he's from America. He wouldn't be here, but Permione Granger made Professor Vector cry to many times, and once she had a nervous break down, Professor Dumbledore told her to travel for two years, until Hermione graduates.

So that's how we ended up with him. He's not the brightest crayon in the box, or the nicest. My mother sings praises, because she thinks he's a genius and a saint. Oh well. It's kind of funny, what he does. He has this giant chalkboard, which he brought from America, and it has this picture of him on it that one of his old students drew. He writes musical notes on them, and compares them to Arithmancy problems. He points to it with this conductor's baton, (rumor is that he was a music teacher at a MUGGLE school! How scandalous. If Draco's father knew, he would be appalled!) and whenever he gets mad he puts it underneath his arm and his face gets all red, and he yells "WE DON'T HAVE TO GO TO HERSHEY PARK!!" It's very funny. He's truly evil. I would say he's the worst, but he's funny, so Snape is. He has very big sideburns. That's funny too. For some reason, he keeps on calling me 'Emily', and Hermione 'Cory'. It's strange. I bet they're old students. Ha! A man like Blanchard MISSING his students? As Ron Weasley would say; As if!

I'm back again, and today was boring. But I learned something from Hermione is Runes; (Professor K'nexlas is sooooo hot!!!) Harry Potter has a mad crush on Draco! Ha! This is a big clue, and the pieces are coming together ever so slowly! She found out because the other day, she went looking for him, and she went up to his dormitory. Dean Thomas was up there, and told her that she could look where ever she needed, just not in his part of the dorm. So she went over to Harry's side and noticed it was a mess. She decided that it NEEDED to be cleaned. She just decided to put his dirty socks and his penknife under his mattress, because the side table drawers and shelves were full, and the shelves around his bed were full with books and pictures and other things that he has collected over the years. So upon lifting up the mattress, she found a photograph of Draco! Who would have thought? They're supposed to be worst enemies! Draco doesn't think of Harry like that! Or does he? Hmmmm.......There are still a lot of questions to be answered. I asked a stupid question; 'so why does it mean he likes him? Maybe he just had the picture and didn't want to look at it?' 'Don't be stupid,' Hermione said. 'Who would have taken a picture of his worst enemy and gave it to him? Why would he keep it UNDER HIS MATTRESS!?' Unfortunately, Professor K'nexlas heard this last bit. He promptly came over and shushed us. It's a shame, because I wanted to find out more on the subject. Oh well, I'll ask again.

A very happy,

Lisa

2 days until Draco comes back, I can't wait to see him. He'll be 16! That's really cool. I wonder if he knows anything about the Harry Potter thing. Who would have thought that The Boy Who Lived could be like that? Not that there's anything wrong with it. I wonder if that's who Draco likes secretly? Hmmmm......

Bye for now,

Lisa

September 28th

What the hell is Hershey Park? No, really. I just realised that Blanchard has been telling us that we don't have to go there, and I never really paid it much attention before. But know that my life is boring because Seamus always has detention and Draco is gone, I've had more time to ponder these things.

Draco comes back tomorrow. I'm very excited. I wonder if he's changed now that he has turned 16? God, I'm insane! It was 7 days ago! Can someone change in a week? A month, even? God, I have WAY too much idle time.

Yours forever

Lisa

September 29th

Draco is back!!!! For his birthday, he got a whole new wardrobe. It's mostly leather pants and silk Dolce and Gabanna blouses in dark colors, but it looks very, VERY, good on him. I don't know if I should tell him about the Harry Potter thing, I think I'm going to wait until I can figure out who he likes. That should be interesting.

Bye for now,

Lisa

September 30th

Draco told me today that whenever Blanchard gets mad his side burns shake and his eyebrows almost connect because he pushes them together. Sometimes his eyeglasses come off! He's such a wanker. I have to go, Seamus and Draco are about to get into another fight! Oh God, Seamus saw Draco outside of the Ravenclaw common room.

Another day saved by,

Lisa

October 1st

Today we go to Hogsmeade. Seamus, however, has to clean the dungeons with a toothbrush because he id something in Potions. I don't know what he did, but it must have been really bad. So today, it's just me and Draco....I'm going to talk to him some more and hope to get some good stuff out of him. We'll see.

Love,

Lisa

Later

OH. MY.GOD. Today, like I told you before, we were in Hogsmeade. It was just Draco and I and I thought nothing of it because we've been there by ourselves before. We had been in almost every shop, and had been to the Three Broomsticks. We had gotten two Butterbeers, and we had been talking about things, like weather and what he had done at home, what he had missed at school while he was away, things like that. When we left, we saw all these first years who were coming back from a playground where they had been sitting and talking. I looked at them, remembering when I was little and didn't have to worry about anything, and Draco saw me. He said; 'I see the way you look at them, like something is missing. Do you want to go to the park?' I said, 'all right.' And so we went. At first we pushed each other on the swings, but started to feel sick to we went over to the bars and hung upside down. My shirt kept on flying up, so I sat on top of the bars and he hung upside down. We got talking, and I found it very interesting, although I was not finding out anything about anything that I had hoped to find out about. Then he brought up the subject of pretty girls. He told me that he had his eye on a few of the girls in our year, and one seventh year. I asked him who, and he named them; Mandy Brocklehurst, (MANDY?) Blaise Zabini, Svetlana Romanov, (that's the seventh year), and one person who 'shall be left un-named. I asked why the other girl should left un-named, and he said; 'I wouldn't want to scare her away. She's a good friend of mine.' I said that any girl would be lucky to see a guy like him, because he was a first-rate chap. He laughed, and said that he wished that all were true. I asked him who it was. Again. And again he wouldn't tell me. Then I got frustrated. I told him he could tell me anything in confidence because he was my best friend and always would be. The he said that most surprising thing I'd ever heard in my life. 'The girl I'm after has a boyfriend, and she chased him for years.' Then I told him he was good-looking, better than any boy in the whole school, and then he asked; 'what would you do if I kissed you, Lisa?' I just rolled my eyes and told him to stop playing stupid mind games, because we weren't in first year anymore. He told me he wasn't, and then he turned his little arse right-side-up, and he kissed me, right on the mouth! At first I wanted to slap him, then I wanted to cry and run away, just like nothing happened, and then I wanted to kiss him back. But somehow, all of these emotions took back seat to the newest one, incredible guilt. I just sat there, with Draco Malfoy kissing me, acting stupid, thinking; 'Oh my God, what will Seamus think?'

A very confused,

Lisa

October 3rd

Padma Patil told me I had been acting like an idiot all yesterday and the day before, but I didn't have the heart to tell her why. I still feel guilty. I want to break it off with Seamus, and try things out with Draco, but that would make me feel so STUPID! I mean, with all the work I put into with getting Seamus, why brake it off after only a couple of weeks, for something that unfortunately, will never work? It makes no sense at all. I do feel confused though. I really like Draco, and I think I might even love him, but I'm not sure what kind of love it is, like the kind of love you feel for a brother, or the kind of love you feel for a husband or boyfriend. But of course, at the same time there's Seamus, who's very funny, and charming, and cute, and good-looking.

I have decided that my entire life is becoming a cliché, and that that really sucks. That's what Terry says when something's really bad, that it really sucks. I need to figure this out, because I don't want to end up like Padma Or one of her slutty friends!

Love,

Lisa

October 6th

Seamus got to me before I could get to him. He broke it off with me. It was perfect timing, because I was about to go and brake it off with him. But he got to me first. Which is a good thing. He told me he found out about the Draco thing because he over-heard some first year Hufflepuffs talking about it. And oddly enough, he's OK with it. He says he still wants to be my friend, but he thinks I should spend my time going after Draco. He thinks it's worth it. How sweet of him! He's a sweetie-darling! He told me that he didn't think it was working out because he sensed we were at a plateau 2 weeks into the relationship, and he said, 'that couldn't have been good.' But he's being so sweet, I don't know how I ever had any doubts!

Oh, happy day,

Lisa

October 7th

FRIDAY! YES! I'm writing this at four am, because I can't sleep. Today I'm going to ask Draco to see me instead of Pansy Parkinson, and we all know how her feels about HER, so I'm sure I'll get a yes. Which is why I'm up at four am. Writing in a book about what I'm so sure will happen to me today. I hope it'll happen, but it all depends on Draco. I hope he says yes! I've decided that I like Seamus as one of my CLOSE friends, and Draco as my boyfriend. How wonderful!

Love,

Lisa

October 8th

Yesterday went by so fast that I can hardly believe it. I asked Draco out it the hallway after potions (Good Afternoon.) and he nearly jumped for joy, I swear! He yelled 'YES' at the top of his lungs and threw his arms around me. It was really fun. Some first years gave up funny looks, but what do they know? As I walked into that Great Hall at dinner, and Seamus winked at me. My life is perfect. For now.

The girl with the perfect life,

Lisa
