Snape's Saviour

Snape needs help after being revealed as a spy and barely escaping Voldemort with his life. Unexpectedly, a Muggle child helps him to recover, but as he improves he realises that she has her own problems, and that his presence doesn't help. Snape opens his heart to the child after her sacrifices to protect him.

This chapter is the reason for the R-rating.

Jane has saved Snape and Snape has saved Jane. Or has he?

Dumbledore welcomes Snape back to Hogwarts but will he be as welcoming to Jane?

Jane regains consciousness and adjustments begin.

Things improve for Jane and she meets Hermione for the first time. Snape shows a lighter side, and arrangements are made for Jane's introduction to the wider school community.

Jane is given a gift by Severus, and she speaks a little of her mother, and the knife she carries. She learns a little more about Hogwarts, and meets her first ghost before attending a Potions class and meeting some students. One student in particular is not happy with the Potions Master's new friend, and it will have major ramifications in coming chapters.
