Christmas Tree

************

"Dad, where is Papa?" Luc, the first born of the Potter-Malfoy siblings, asked Draco. True to his name, he was every inch a Malfoy.

"You know your Papa, every Christmas he prepares the food for dinner," Draco answered, looking up from fixing the hundreds of gifts under their tree.

"Where are the house elves?" A true Malfoy would definitely notice the absence of the house helpers.

"Your papa gave them holidays," Draco answered, placing last minute finishing touches to their Christmas tree.

"Does this means that we are doin' the dishes?" Luc, in spite of his age, whined, remembering how each of them where given duties by their papa when they were still kids.

"As if the lack of house elves will make you do your assigned chore." Grace chuckled as she walked down the grand staircase of the Potter-Malfoy Mansion. Grace is Luc's wife; they already had 3 kids and all were attending Hogwarts.

"Hello Grace, are the kids still sleeping?" Draco asked his descending daughter-in-law.

"The young ones are still sleeping, but the others are already playing. I have already told them to keep it low so as not to disturb the others," Grace replied, while Luc embraced her.

"James, what's the hurry?" Draco asked their second child.

"Siri is coming. He called me up and told me that he is near," James exclaimed, who was every inch a Potter, the only difference being that he didn't wear glasses not that he needs to wear them, he has perfect vision.

"Why don't you just wait for them here?"

"I just can't wait for the things he brought with him!" James shouted as he ran outside.

"Does he really have to wait for Siri outside? It's freezing cold out there!" Draco exclaimed.

"Dad, you know how close Siri and James are, and it is better not to have the two of them outside. Or else the kids might wake up on the wrong side of their beds," Sophia said as she patted Draco's shoulder. Sophia was James's wife; they had three kids, two of which were already at Hogwarts.

"I guess you are right, Sophia," Draco said, calmed.

"Lisa, we just want to try this stuff first to make sure it's all okay," Siri whined at his wife who was levitating a box full of firecrackers. Siri was the third of the siblings. He had black hair and gray eyes.

"Not just yet, can't you two wait?" Lisa was Siri's wife. They had two kids, all were at Hogwarts, and spends all of her time confiscating firecrackers from her husband.

"Ah! The only person who can tame Siri. Thank you for confiscating those; the kids are still asleep." Draco kissed Lisa's cheek before she left to keep the box.

"Oh, food!" Siri was about to take one when Lily slapped his hand. "What was that for?" Siri asked glaring at his sister.

"This is off limits until we all sit down for dinner," Lily said, while fixing the table. She was the fourth child and very much a female version of Harry.

"Lily, what time is your husband coming?" Draco asked.

"Philip will be late, but just in time for Christmas Eve, Dad." Lily and Philip had two kids, and the eldest was already at Hogwarts.

"Dad, here they are: Philip, Sevi and Crystal." Lily announced the arrival of his husband,

brother and sister in law, which in turn kissed Draco.

"Hello, Dad, where is Papa?" Sevi asked. He was the fifth of the brood. Much to Severus' dismay his namesake had blonde hair and green eyes. He was married to a heavily pregnant Crystal.

"You know your Papa, Sevi, he loves the kitchen when this kind of occasions arises. Hello, Crystal, when are you going to be due?" Draco asked her while holding her tummy.

"Dad, I still have two months to go." Crystal beamed.

"Do you already know the gender?"

"Sevi wants it to be a surprise for the both of us, so we still don't."

They were startled when all of the children came marching down like soldiers, which earned a good laugh from all of them.

"Harry, love, are you finished? We are being attacked by the kids." Draco was half way to the kitchen when Cissy went out from the kitchen.

"Dad, you know how Papa reacts when he sees you in the kitchen whenever we have occasions like this; it is wizarding war part II!" Cissy giggled. Cissy was the youngest of the brood and a female version of Draco.

"Is Andrew coming?" Draco asked his youngest.

"He'll come tomorrow. He'll be spending the evening with his family," Cissy said, referring to her fiancé.

"Finished!" Harry went out carrying a tray of lovely made desserts.

"Harry, look at you!" Draco giggled at his husband, who looked like he wiped all the excess ingredients on his face. After a wave of the blonde's hand for a cleaning spell, he pecked his husband's cheeks. "It really pays to have a world acclaimed chef-husband. Because you always smell so delicious and tastes delicious too," Draco purred. Their kids just snorted at the display of affection, but deep inside they were happy on how loving their parents were.

"Okay, children, settle yourselves," Harry said, taking the right side of Draco.

"Grand Papa, we want to open our gifts," said one of Harry's grand children who was now currently pouting which reminded him so much of Draco during one of his tantrum periods.

"Later, angel after we eat," Harry cooed.

"But we may not have enough time to open it," reasoned the other.

"You have until tomorrow, darling." Draco tried to use his Malfoy glare on his grand children for them to eat, but it looked like since having his first child such glare didn't look like it used to.

"Listen to you granddad, angel," Harry said once more, who between the two had the longest patience.

"Okay, Happy Christmas, everybody," Harry said, raising his glass filled with champagne.

"Happy Christmas!" every body greeted back, raising their own glasses--even the kids who where given pumpkin juice.

*************

After some time, Harry and Draco shooed their children and grandchildren towards the living room to open their gifts while the two of them fixed up. After a moment of cuddling and story telling with their family, one by one they retired to bed, bringing with them a very wonderful feeling of Christmas. Tomorrow they had to wake up early; one famous photographer, a Creevy descendant, would be coming over for their annual family picture, which grew every year.

"Thank you, love, for a wonderful Christmas," Harry said, cuddling closer to his husband.

"I should thank you for making our feast like no other," Draco said, kissing his husbands head.

"I love your idea for the Christmas hangings this year."

"I love it too."

"Where did you get the pictures of our parents?"

"At the Ministry's archives, for a good price. But it is worth it, they are our parents."

"No matter what, they will always be our parents, and we love them."

"Yes, we love them."

"I can't believe that our family has grown so big."

"Just realized it now?"

"Yeah, look at the picture hangings, it almost filled up our tree."

"Yeah, family and friends."

"Thank you Draco, for this."

"This happened not because of me alone, Harry. We made this family. And I am proud that I had it with you."

"I love you, Draco, so much."

"And I love you too, Harry."

"Happy Christmas."

"Happy Christmas."

"Next year there will be a new addition to our family."

"Can't wait to add those angels to our tree."

"Can't wait either."
