Chapter Three

Harry lay awake in Fleur's bed. It was morning but very early - the sun hadn't even come up yet. He still felt dizzy from the night before...he couldn't even recall on what exactly had happened. All he knew was that he had fallen in love...with his teacher.

Harry turned his head over to his left side where Professor Fleur Delacour lay sleeping next to him. They were both naked, and Harry felt goose bumps rising up all over his body. He sighed just as Fleur turned over.

"Mmmm..." Harry heard Fleur murmur quietly. Harry reached out with his hand and gently stroked Fleur's long, silvery hair that seemed to glow in the darkness of the bedroom.

Finally, Fleur's eyes fluttered open, and she turned to look at him. She smiled. "Did you have a nice night, honey?" she asked him. Since when did Fleur start calling him "honey"?

Harry nodded slowly...his mouth felt very dry, probably from kissing so much. "Yeah, how about you?"

"Mmmm..." was all Fleur could say.

Harry groaned as he sat up and started to get out of bed. "Well, I guess we should get ourselves ready for the day..."

"No, Harry - stay with me for a little longer," Fleur begged softly, reaching out her arms to him. "Classes do not start until eight am, and it's only four." Harry stopped to think about this for a moment. He knew that if anyone found out that he had slept with his teacher, then he would probably get expelled from Hogwarts, and Fleur might lose her teaching job.

Harry sighed. "I should probably get back to the Gryffindor dormitory before anyone finds out that I've been gone all night," he told her.

"Well then, can you meet me here again tonight?" Fleur asked eagerly. Harry stared at her. What was he supposed to say? He wondered if he really had needed help in Defense of the Dark Arts class...he usually did pretty well in it. Maybe Fleur had used that excuse only to force him to come into her room so she could seduce him. But in any way, Fleur's scheme had worked. Now Harry couldn't just say "no".

"Er...yeah, I'd love to come back," Harry replied finally, without even really realizing what he had just said. No, I can't - I'll get into major trouble if we're caught! He then told himself silently.

Fleur smiled up at him. "Wonderful," she said. "I really enjoyed last night."

Harry smiled back. "I did, too." No, I didn't!

Harry quickly got changed back into his Hogwarts uniform, grabbed his Invisibility Cloak, and left Fleur's room.

What was going on here?

Harry could hardly eat his breakfast later that morning. He was sitting at the Gryffindor table next to Ron and Hermione. Hermione was busy at her Potions homework while Ron was eating away, talking with Neville Longbottom. All Harry could think about was last night with Professor Fleur Delacour. He looked up at the teachers' table and noticed Fleur, staring back down at him. She was, once again, sitting next to Professor Snape.

Face growing red, Harry quickly turned away from her gaze and back down at his plate of food.

"Aw, darn it! We've got Divination first today!" Ron announced glumly, interrupting the silence among the three. "I wonder what boring lesson Professor Trelawney will be teaching today!"

"Huh?" Harry asked, turning toward Ron. Hermione looked up from her book.

"Well, I'm just glad I got out of that class when I did," Hermione said. "I've got History of Magic next. I still feel as thought History of Magic is much more important than Divination."

Ron rolled his eyes. "Honestly, Hermione..." Hermione glowered at him but went back to her book.

Soon when breakfast was over, Ron and Harry headed off to Divination class while Hermione went off to her History of Magic class.

"So, how did the tutoring session go with Professor Delacour last night?" Ron hissed to Harry as they walked up the stairs to the tall Astronomy Tower.

"Huh?" said Harry again. "Oh, yeah right...it went, well um, great."

Harry didn't want to tell Ron that he had actually slept with Fleur Delacour that night before instead of her tutoring him. And he didn't want to tell Ron that he was going to be seeing her again that next night.

"So, are we having Quidditch practice tonight?" Ron asked Harry.

"Oh yeah, about practice...we'll have to cancel again, I'm afraid."

Ron stared at him. "What? But you can't keep canceling practices like this, Harry! We need to practice - we've got a game against Slytherin this Saturday and it's already Friday!"

Harry sighed. "I know, I know. There's just something really important that I have to do."

"Fine, then you know what, Harry? I'm not going to call off practice again - everyone on the team seemed pissed off at me. So I'm gonna take your place as captain and try to get some practice time in with or without you."

Harry's eyes opened wide. "What? You can't take my place as captain!"

Ron sighed. "Not for good - just until you decide to come back," he answered.

Harry glared at Ron. "Fine, you go ahead and do that!" he snapped. "In fact, why don't you take my place as captain for good? Let's see how far the Gryffindor team will get without their Seeker!"

Ron shrugged. "Then I guess we'll just have to find a new Seeker, won't we?" he shot back coldly.

"Fine!" Harry snapped again loudly.

"Well, fine right back!" Ron replied. They both glared at each other for a moment or two and then Harry stalked off, walking faster up the stairs and leaving Ron behind. He didn't care that he could never play Quidditch again - right now, the only thing that seemed to matter was Professor Fleur Delacour.
