Chapter Two

Harry sat impatiently through the rest of his classes that day. He was excited and yet, nervous. Hardly any of the Hogwarts students were allowed to go inside the teachers' rooms...and out of all the teachers, Harry would be going into Fleur Delacour's!

But Harry decided not to gloat about it. He did tell Ron about it, however, and Ron had gotten pure jealous.

"You get to go in Fleur's room?" Ron hissed to Harry when Harry told him at dinner in the Great Hall. "But what about Quidditch practice?" Ron was also on the Gryffindor House Quidditch team. He played Keeper.

Harry shrugged. "Well, I was kind of hoping that you would tell the rest of the team that practice has been canceled since I have to meet her right after dinner. And don't tell them the real reason why...just tell them that I have a lot of homework to do and I can't make it."

"But why lie, Harry?" Ron asked.

"Because...you know how it is...students aren't really supposed to be in a teacher's room..." Harry spoke softly so no one else around them could hear. Ron nodded understandably, but still had a look of doubt on his face.

"What's this I hear, Potter?" a familiar voice demanded loudly from behind them. Ron and Harry turned around to face Draco Malfoy.

"Go away, Malfoy...go back to the Slytherin table," Ron exclaimed through clenched teeth.

Malfoy sneered at Ron. "I don't recall you making the rules, Weasel...Especially since I'm a prefect..."

"Yeah, and I'm Head Boy," Harry shot back, trying to defend Ron.

"Stay out of this, Potter!" Malfoy spat.

"No - you get away from us!" Harry declared loudly, standing up out of his seat. He glared straight at Malfoy and Malfoy was glaring right back. The Great Hall had become silent; now everybody was staring at them.

"Oh, for heaven's sake...grow up already!" Hermione said, rolling her eyes at them. They both turned to look at her.

"You stay out of this too, Mudblood," snarled Malfoy. Ron's eyes grew wide; he looked like he was ready to strangle Malfoy. Whispers and shocks were also now going around.

"Don't call her that, Malfoy!" Ron suddenly shouted, jumping up out of his seat and standing next to Harry.

Ron really looked like he was ready to attack Malfoy, so Harry and Hermione grabbed him and held him back.

"Let me go! Let me at him!" Ron was yelling, glaring coldly at Malfoy.

Finally, Headmaster Albus Dumbledore walked silently up to them. There was an eerie silence as he stared down at them disapprovingly.

"Is there something wrong, boys?" Dumbledore asked in a stern voice. Harry stared up at him as he let go of Ron, who was staring at Dumbledore as well. Even Malfoy had stopped sneering to look at Dumbledore. "Because I believe that if there is a problem, we can settle it in my office."

"Um, no problem, Dumbledore Sir," Malfoy sputtered suddenly, interrupting the silence. "We were just, um...goofing around."

"Is that true?" Dumbledore asked Ron and Harry.

Harry was the first to speak. He nodded. "Uh, yeah, Professor. Just goofing around..." Harry nudged Ron and Ron quickly nodded in agreement.

Dumbledore sighed. "Well, then I suggest you three better get back to your seats and finish your dinner."

"Yes, Sir...right away," Malfoy said, hurrying over back to the Slytherin table. Harry and Ron sat back down at the Gryffindor table. And Dumbledore went back to the teachers' table.

"Boy, that was close," Ron whispered to Harry as everyone went back to eating. Harry nodded. Harry turned to look over at Malfoy who was sitting at the Slytherin table, and was sneering at him.

* * * * *

After dinner was over, Harry headed up to the Gryffindor dormitory to get his school books for Fleur's tutoring session. Harry had been down in the teachers' hall only once before, but under his Invisibility Cloak, so he knew where Fleur's room was.

He grabbed his Invisibility Cloak just in case, and left the dormitory. Harry walked down several halls and a flight of stairs before finally reaching the teachers' housings.

He threw on his Invisibility Cloak and walked down the quiet, darkened hall toward Fleur's room. When he got up to the door, he whispered, "Flabbergasted," and the door creaked as it swung open.

Harry walked inside. He had entered a small, but comfortable living room. It reminded Harry of the common rooms in the student dormitories. A warm fire was blazing from the fireplace.

Harry took off the Invisibility Cloak and it landed on the floor. "Hello? Professor?" he called. Harry got a little shock when an armchair, facing the fireplace, whirled around and in it sat Fleur Delacour.

She smiled at him. "Hello, Harry. Ready for your tutoring?" she asked.

Harry suddenly felt numb. She was so beautiful...

"Er, yeah," he replied. "I think..."

"Come sit down," Fleur said, gesturing toward a chair next to the one she was sitting in. Slowly, Harry made his way toward the chair and sat down. Fleur turned her chair to face him. There was a small table in between them. Harry put his books down on the table.

"I don't think we'll be needing those books, Harry," Fleur said suddenly. Harry stared at her with an open mouth. Then, she leaned forward toward him. She was so close that their heads were nearly touching. "Harry," she whispered. "I know you like me."

Harry fumbled. "Well, I um," Harry stuttered. But before he could say anything else, Fleur moved closer to him, and kissed him on the lips. Harry felt her soft, warm lips touch his. Their kiss lasted a long time.

When they finally pulled away, neither one of them could speak. Harry was panting loudly as he stared into Fleur's eyes.

"That was, um..." Harry started.

Fleur sighed and quickly stood up. "I know," she said quickly. "That was very unnecessary." She was pacing back and forth now nervously. "Harry, I'm sorry, I just don't know what came onto me."

Harry stood up, not knowing what else to do and walked over toward her. "No, no...it was really, er, nice," he replied. He put his arms around Fleur and held her gently. Then, they stared into each other's eyes again and before they knew it, they were kissing.

They were kissing all over each other's bodies. Still kissing, Fleur walked Harry over and into her bedroom. He closed the door behind them, and realized that this was going to be a long night.
