Chapter 2

Harry and Draco just continued to stare at each other. Harry had a stingy tingling feeling in his body...or was it Draco's body? Harry stared down at his body. It was definitely Draco's. And when Harry spoke, he heard Draco's voice instead of his own.

"This really blows," Draco muttered in Harry's voice. "I can't believe I'm you! My reputation will be ruined completely...you don't know how to be me!"

"And you don't know how to be me," Harry replied.

Draco sighed. "Well, I guess there's nothing else we can do about it 'til we can find out how to get our bodies back..." Draco's voice trailed off. Harry didn't like the sound of this. If he was going to pretend to be Draco, then he would have to go and stay with the Malfoys for the rest of the summer, definitely not on Harry's list of "most want to do" things.

Harry thought Draco must be thinking the same thing. Oh well, I get to leave the Dursleys! Just think about that! And maybe the Malfoys will treat me better, Harry suddenly thought to himself.

OK. So he really didn't get to leave the Dursleys, because the Dursleys would still think Draco was him. But still. Anything to get away from Dudley and his diet.

"OK, let's get things straightened up," Harry told Draco. "'Cause we'll need to know about each others' lives."

"Yours must be pretty simple, Potter," Draco sneered. "'Cause all you do is look pretty for the camera and get interviews! Oh yeah, and sign autographs!"

Harry was angry at this. He didn't think he deserved any of the fame he had gotten, and it wasn't like it was his idea to become famous. It happened without his opinions on it.

For the next hour or so, Draco and Harry explained to each other about their lives and told them what to do. They would meet back at Hogwarts and ask the teachers (Draco suggested Professor Snape, Harry's least favorite teacher and the Potions master) if there was a potion or spell that would switch them back.

Then, Harry went off to the Malfoys' house, and Draco headed off to the Dursleys'. Good luck, Draco - you're gonna need it! Harry thought.

When Harry reached Draco's house, the first thing he noticed was that it was absolutely huge. Like Ron's, it was a wizard house in a wizard neighborhood. But unlike Ron's, it looked like the Malfoys had money. And lots of it.

Harry walked down the walkway toward the huge manor house. It was white with black window shutters. Two chimneys were sticking out of the ceiling from either end of the square house. The green lawn in front and behind the house seemed to stretch on forever.

Harry went up to the front door and rang the doorbell...not knowing if Draco usually just walked right inside or not. A few seconds later, the door opened and an unfamiliar man stood in the doorway. It was not Lucius Malfoy, Draco's father.

The man smiled when he saw Harry. "Why, hello, Master Draco...your parents have been waiting for you. Come right on in."

The Malfoys have a butler! thought Harry. Harry followed the butler into a huge room that looked very elegant and fancy, much like a palace. Malfoy's parents were indeed waiting for him.
