Soon enough, Harry found himself outside the house he had seen in his dreams two years ago, before Voldemort had returned to power.

Everyone had believed, for many years, that the Riddle house had been abandoned, only resident to Frank Bryce, until he mysteriously died. No one knew that the house had been used as a hideout for a famous wizard, that many thought to be dead.

Harry walked up the front walk and stopped in front of the tall black door. Harry placed one hand in his pocket, feeling a hairy rat. In the other hand, he held his wand at the ready.

He pushed the door open. The foyer was dark with a high ceiling, which made the house feel even darker.

Harry glanced up the stairs. A fire was lit in one of the bedrooms. He slowly climbed the staircase that creaked with every step he took.

When he reached the top, Harry stepped into the doorway of the bedroom. A tall armchair faced the fireplace. "Harry Potter, we meet again."

Harry stepped further into the room as the armchair turned to face him.

Voldemort waved his hand at the door. The door snapped shut behind Harry, but Harry didn't dare to look away from his worst enemy.

Voldemort slowly rose to his feet. "Where are my faithful servants?"

"Dead. You will join them soon enough."

"Oh, them spiteful words," Voldemort mocked him.

Harry could feel Wormtail crawl out of his pocket, just as they had planned. Peter had repaid his debt by bringing Harry to Voldemort and promising not to return to Voldemort's side.

"Shall we duel?" Harry asked.

"Oh, I believe we shall," Voldemort agreed, grinning. "But I do believe you still have my wand, Mr. Potter?"

Harry pulled the wand out of his back pocket and tossed it to him.

"Crucio!" Voldemort yelled as soon as the wand reached his hand.

Harry yelled, "Expelliarmus," at the exact same time.

The two spelled hit and ricocheted off of each other. Harry was hit with the disarming spell, causing his wand to fly out of his hands, on to the floor across the room.

Voldemort was hit, square in the chest, with his own Cruciatus curse. Voldemort let out a high pitch scream, but did not fall to the floor. He jerked his wand to stop the curse.

Harry scrambled across the floor to grab his wand, but before he could reach it, it flew from the floor, into Voldemort's hands.

Harry's face grew horribly pale. He could feel death, clenching to the room, ready to pounce on Harry as he waited to die.

"Well, Mr. Potter, I do believe we are reaching the end of our little duel.

"But don't fret, you will be remembered as the boy who almost defeated Lord Voldemort," Voldemort said, sounding very powerful.

Harry rose to his feet, knowing that the end was near. He knew it was time to die. He wanted to die on two feet, like a man, like his father.

Harry took a deep breath. 'I'm ready,' he thought. 'I'm not afraid to die.'

Voldemort lifted his wand.

'I love you, Hermione.'

"Avada-"

'I will come back for you.'

"Kedavra!"

Author notes: I know you guys all hate my endings to chapters!
