Until Death
Part Two
That week was hell for Draco. It was nothing but a struggle. He could hardly pay attention in his classes and had more Astronomy homework than any subject he ever had. Luckily, Snape was in a pleasant mood and gave out less homework than usual. Something about that Astronomy homework, however, triggered his mind to think about Harry. He kept popping into his mind. Damnit, I don't have time to think about that...or even to act upon it. ACT?! What the hell are you thinking?! We went over this, Draco. You and he can never happen. Never! His father's voice yet again. He was getting so angry at it. The angrier he got at it, the more it spoke. The more it spoke, the more Draco got confused about his feelings for Harry. Nothing was working to help him through this. He growled at himself for being so stupid. He thought about slapping himself, but he thought he would skip out on it. He had too much homework to worry about that. At least tomorrow he would be rid of his fears, confusions, and his father for a week. He sighed. Only a week...then it's back to being miserable.

Everyone had their bags packed and were ready to go. Harry was actually excited, but not as much as Hermione was. "This is going to be great. We are the first to experience something like this! It even states in Hogwarts: A History-"
"By god, 'Mione. Could you shut up about that for two seconds?" Ron said as he rubbed his temples in annoyance. Hermione looked at him like she could not believe he had just said that.
"I got a better idea. How about both of you come off it? You both are getting on my nerves," Harry suggested. Then he got that eerie feeling that he was being watched again. He didn't know where, but when he turned around, he saw Draco Malfoy, trudging in his tracks and looking solemnly at the ground with his bags in his hands. Then he lifted his head and shook his head a little. He then quickened his pace and disappeared down the hall. Not even a remark to Harry as he was passing. Probably because his bodyguards were not around to protect him. But even then, he would have at least said something. This is getting weird. How come he hasn't even said a word to me in the last few days?
"Harry? Are you alright?" Hermione asked.
"I'm fine. This may sound odd but... Malfoy hasn't said a word to me in the past few days. Not even a smug look to me. I'm starting to wonder if something's wrong," Harry said.
"Who cares? Whatever it is, the bloody git deserves it," Ron replied. He looked at the pack of students already heading down to the carriages which dropped them off at the station. First years had to go last, because of the lack of carriages. "Well, we better be going. The train's leaving soon and I'm sure we don't want to be stuck in a compartment with Malfoy and his brutes. Harry might have jinxed us."
"Oh, come off it, Ron. Everything's going to be great," Hermione assured them. "But you're right. We better be going. Come on, Harry."
"Coming," Harry replied. He picked up his bags and followed Hermione and Ron through the hall. As he started to walk, he felt a blunt sensation in his scar. It didn't hurt as much as it was an annoyance. He just ignored it. Unless it stung as if a thousand bees had struck his head, then he had nothing to worry.

They boarded the train at the Hogsmeade station. They would stop at the stops that the students were going to by year. The first-years were to be dropped off first. Then it would ascend from there. The seventh-years, being the farthest away from Hogwarts, were to be dropped off last.
Draco sat in his usual room with Crabbe and Goyle, and some other Slytherins, making fun of everyone at Hogwarts, especially Harry. Draco acted his usual self and made ever comment. He even took a hat that one of the people had and put it on and did an impression of him with the stupid looking hat. As he glanced over to look out the window, he saw how dark the sky was getting. When Draco glanced so did everyone else. Crabbe commented "Bloody hell! Look at that! We have to go through that mountain to get to where we're going. Besides we're next off, you know."
"Crabbe, that's no big deal. I've seen far worse. You're such an idiot," Draco said.
"At least I'm not wearing a pink and green snow-cap and dancing around like a buffoon!" Crabbe remarked. Draco glared at him and pulled out his wand. Everyone was laughing, until he did that. The room was completely silent.
"One more out of you, Crabbe, and you will be visiting you're granddad," Draco said.
"But he's dead!"
"My point exactly, so shut up!" Nobody spoke after that. Draco put his wand back in his case. He then sat down next to the window and looked out at it. The sky is rather dark for being the time of day it is. He looked down at the ground then at everyone who was quietly conversing with each other. He just sat there for a while and thought about Harry. Damnit, he couldn't keep that kid out of his mind. He was in every single thought he had. He didn't understand it. At all.
After a while of just sitting and not talking, he thought he would just step out of the compartment for a while and just be by himself. There was too much noise in there for him to think clearly and understand why these thoughts of Harry kept pestering and torturing him. He was just about to step out of the door, when the area around him went black and the train came to a complete stop really fast. He fell on the floor and hit his head on the doorframe, all he could see were shapes and shadows. He heard everyone in the compartment yelling at each other for answers as to why everything was so dark. The electricity on the train had went out and there was nothing but the darkness in front of their faces and what was currently running through their train, looking for a victim to please their master.

Harry was in his compartment with Ron and Hermione when everything stopped and went black. He was also wearing a silly snowcap and just being an idiot. He wondered what happened. "It's probably something they saw ahead of them that's blocking the tracks. I wouldn't worry about it," Hermione's voice said as it traveled through the darkness. The bluntness on Harry's scar was not blunt anymore. It was now stinging. Harry seethed. "Harry? Harry, what's wrong? Is it your scar?" Hermione questioned. Nobody could see a thing in front of their faces. Ron put his hand in front of Harry's face and Harry didn't even say anything. He laughed.
"Ron, this isn't funny. It's really starting to hurt," Harry said.
"That's not what I'm laughing at, mate," Ron said.
"Then I don't want to know," Harry said. But as they fell silent, they heard the opening and slamming of compartments coming from the back and front of the train. "That can't be good." Hermione told them to shut up as she listened for the voices and slamming; she then heard a scream.
"That's defiantly not good," she said. "We best stay here and not light up our wands," she said. "And be quiet," she whispered. "Quick. On the floor," They heard movement and supposed that she was on the ground. They didn't know whether to think of her as being insane or genius. She groped around for the other two. "Well don't just sit there! Get your ass down here! They won't see us down here!" They did as they were told and laid on the floor. "Now be quiet." They both shut their mouths and listened for movements. They still heard the slamming of compartment doors and shrieks and screams of random people. They also heard strict yelling asking the people questions. The walls muffled out the words, so they didn't understand a thing the unknown people kept saying. As the sounds got louder, Harry's scar burned more. The three of them saw a tiny light outside their compartment which formed a shadow of two men outside it. They opened the door and grabbed at Harry's feet. Ron and Hermione grabbed at his hands, trying to pull his away from the kidnappers, but one of them shouted "STUPIFY!" before one of them could do something about it. They let go and just sat there like vegetables. Harry yelled to them at the top of his lungs for them to do something, anything. But the man put a sleeping spell on him. He immediately went to sleep on the shoulders of his kidnapper, only to wake up far beyond a place he could never conjure up in his wildest dreams.
