Alright, thanks to my awesome beta SnapeJuice. Thanks to all you wonderful readers/reviewers

Hagrid had always found warmth in her. She would always listen to anything he had to say. When he was thirteen, she was one of the few students who accepted him. Yes, Myrtle was one of his best friends.

"Myrtle, brought you some rock cakes. I 'ope yer feelin' a bit better'n yesterday," Hagrid said, entering the girl's lavatory.

"Oh, thank you, Hagrid! I really appreciate your visits, but nobody visits me anymore. Are people afraid of me?" Myrtle asked.

" 'Course not, what's there to be 'fraid o'?"

"I heard some people talking. They said I whine and over-exaggerate everything! That isn't true, is it?"

"No, they've no idea of what yer've - we've - been through. The lot of em' wouldn' last a day in our shoes!" Hagrid said.

*Flashback*

Rubeus was an awkward boy. Not many people liked him. He didn't have much going for him - his grades were terrible, he was bad on a broomstick, he always had strange animals, and worst of all, he was very huge! It didn't take long for people to start taunting him for his giant's blood. Some people were afraid of him, but most people just ignored him completely. It was horrible. A boy by the name of Tom Riddle and his girlfriend Olive Hornby were especially mean to him. They not only tossed insults at him for giant stature, low grades and over all clumsiness but, also for his father being a Mud-blood. That hurt the most. His father was one other best wizards ever. Sure, Hagrid couldn't deny he had giants' blood, but he wasn't anything like the giants he'd met. They were barbaric.

There was now a rumour going around that he was part troll.

Earlier that day, Tom pushed him down a corridor of stairs. He was going to go see Menna a Seventh Year Prefect. She had said, 'If you ever need anything, just ask me.' Hagrid had gone to see her a few times, but now it was different; he was really sad this time.

"' Enna I was wonderin' if yer'd 'elp me out with a problem I'm havin' with someone?" Hagrid asked, stepping into the special Head Girl room she had in Gryffindor Tower.

"Not again, Rubeus! I've gone over this a million times with you!" moaned Menna.

"I cann't stand up ter 'im, he is bigger'n me," Hagrid complained.

"I highly doubt that! Sure, he may be older than you but - oh Rubeus, don't cry!"

Hagrid started to howl with tears.

"I know a third year Hufflepuff, who you might get along with very well!" she said, trying to calm him down.

Hagrid just continued sobbing.

"Ohm please, Rubeus, stop or you'll wake the whole castle!" she begged.

He tried to stop, his moans settling into whimpers like a wounded bear.

"Listen to me, Rubeus! There is a third year Hufflepuff. I really think you two would like each other!"

"No, I wanna be alone! I am half giant! That Riddle called me a 'menace ter society!'" Rubeus said, stomping off to his dorm.

A few days later, Hagrid broke the door into the greenhouse. The news travelled around the school very fast, and soon enough, everyone knew. There was nowhere he could go without being taunted - even his roommates tortured him.

He was wandering around the castle when he heard a girl crying. Wanting to see what was wrong, it took him only a moment to realize that he was in a girls' lavatory.

"What do you want, you big ogre? This is the girls' lavatory! I just want to be alone!" she cried.

"I know how you feel, I just want to be alone too," Hagrid said.

It din't take long for the two to form a freindship, they both needed each other for support.from the taunts of the rest of the world.

Soon, they were spending every minute together. Tom and Oliver never ceased their taunts, but now Hagrid and Myrtle had each other.

When Myrtle died, Hagrid felt absolutely horrible. She was especially miffed at the fact that all of Hogwarts thought her best friend - her giant, her Hagrid - had set open the Chamber, which in turn killed her. He was not responsible for her death.

People didn't take an interest in their relationship. It was easy to accuse the big, clumsy half-giant of killing the ugly, meek Hufflepuff girl. No one had any idea they truly cared about each other.

Hagrid couldn't believe his luck, about a year after she died he discovered Myrtle was still at Hogwarts.

Hagrid's visits to the lavatory were almost daily. Eventually though they started to drift apart. Hagrid was becoming an adult and didn't worry so much about what other people though about him, but Myrtle never could grow out of her insecurities. She was stuck in that lavatory forever!
