Remus Lupin's Wedding

It was a beautiful morning and everyone in the castle was in anticipation for the big day. Remus was in the Gryffindor common room with his best men, Blood Falcon and Sirius Black.

“You going to be OK, Remus?” Sirius asked his dear friend.

“Yeah, I just can’t believe it’s finally here, I mean, not only am I going to marry one beautiful woman, but two.”

“Lucky bastard!” Blood Falcon exclaimed with a smile.

On the other side of the castle in the Ravenclaw common room Diamond, Sree, Emerald Moonlight, Hermione and Ginny were getting ready.

“Oh, you two look so beautiful!” Ginny exclaimed. She herself was dressed in a simple A-line dress, of a soft green color. Hermione was also wearing a beautiful dress, made for the October weather.

Diamond was wearing a long, flowing white gown. It didn’t have any embroidery, or decorations on it, but in its simplicity it was simply fabulous. It hugged her cruves, and flowed behind her like water. Sree was wearing a dress that looked made for a queen. It had delicate beadwork, and tiny lace over the entire dress. The back train was at least a few feet long. She also wore a diamond tiara and a soft silky veil that flowed down her back, with a small part to go over her face. She looked absolutely radiant. They were giggling and laughing when a knock came at the door.

Ginny answered. She gasped at the door.

“Who is it Gin?” Sree asked.

“Our flower girl.”

“I am NOT a flower girl,” came the silky voice of the Potions master, Severus Snape.

He came in wearing formal black robes, and it looked like he had actually washed his hair. When he came within a few feet of the brides, his expression softened.

“I was wondering if I might give the brides away instead,” he said with a genuine smile. Diamond and Sree couldn’t have had bigger grins on their faces.

“Oh Severus, of course…” said Diamond

“It would be an honor,” Sree finished for her.

"Who’s going to be the flower girl then?" Emerald asked. Just then another knock came at the door. This time it was Coolgreeneyes. She peeked her head in and smiled.

“Just in the nick of time,” Sree commented.

“Cool, would you like to be our flower girl??” Diamond asked taking the other girls hands. Cool squealed with delight.

“Of Course!” she exclaimed. Sree placed the flower tiara on her head and got her ready for her new duties.

An hour later Remus, Blood Falcon, Albus and Sirius were standing by the lake, waiting for the ceremony to being. Albus Dumbledore was going to marry the three. There were a few chairs lined up for the guests, some of which were already there. Almost every one in the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw houses, and a few from Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Draco Malfoy was sitting up towards the front, giving Remus a very dirty look. Harry and Ron were standing by the end chairs, to usher people to their seats, and a few house-elves were getting some last minute flowers adjusted. There were White and Red roses sprouting along the path, with Tulips, and Sunflowers at the front and the back of the isles. After a few more minutes, all the chairs were filled, and the ceremony was ready to commence.

Then a slow song, “I Swear” began playing, and everyone turned to see Coolgreeneyes walking down the aisle, dropping rose, tulip, and sunflower petals on the white carpet. After her came Emerald Moonlight, looking beautiful in her soft violet bridesmaid gown. Her hair was pulled up into a French twist, and she held a bouquet of Roses, two tulips, and a Sunflower beneath them all. After she made it to the front, the wedding march started, and everyone stood. Severus stood at the back, with Sree on one arm, and Diamond on his other. Diamond's bouquet was roses, and tulips, while Sree’s was sunflowers and tulips, and for once Severus was smiling. He slowly walked them down the aisle and when he got to Remus they stopped.

“Who gives this man to be wed?” Albus asked.

“I, his friends, and his loved ones,” answered Blood Falcon.

“Who gives these women to be wed?” Albus asked again.

“I, their friends, and their loved ones,” Severus answered. He then placed their hands together and then onto Remus’s.

Then taking the seat next to Draco, and the wedding commenced. Remus stood between both Diamond and Sree, he held both their hands, and couldn’t stop looking back and forth between the two. The ceremony didn’t take long. When Albus asked if there were any objections, only a few muffled cries could be heard from the back rows. At the vows, Remus spoke his first to Sree, and then to Diamond. Then each of the women spoke their vows, to him and to each other. By the end of it, everyone was in tears. Then Albus pronounced them husband and wives. With a whoop of cheer, Remus kissed Diamond, and then Sree. They all laughed, turned to face their loved ones, and walked down the isle to begin their new lives.

After pictures, and going through a tour of Hogsmeade in a thresal pulled carriage, they made their way back to Hogwarts. The great hall was decked out in red, violet, and dark blue streamers. Roses, tulips, and sunflowers were everywhere, and on a table next to the teachers' table, sat three spectacular cakes. Each had three towers, one being dark blue, one red, and one violet. They were decorated with sugar flowers, and far too beautiful to eat. In the back far corner was an open bar, with Kittykat0014 serving up the drinks. Sitting at the bar were Morwen Snape, Sofia Wald, Little Lost One, and Agent 36. They were all having their choice drink, and talking about how wonderful the wedding was.

“Look at the cakes that Sevens Alloy made, are they not just yummy?” Morwen asked the group.

“Yeah, almost to yummy to eat,” said Sofia. They all looked at each other.

“NAAA!” they all said at the same time.

“Well I better go check on the stage. I want to make sure that everyone will be able to see the Snape when he sings." Agent 36 got up from her chair and drained her glass.

“Oh, how did you get ol' Snappants to sing?” Morwen asked with an evil grin.

“Well, let's just say Blood Falcon let me borrow a few pictures for blackmail,” she said with a smirk.

Soon everyone was there, and people were seated at the small round tables scattered around the hall. Remus, Diamond, Sree and their wedding party sat at the head table, with Remus in the middle of his brides. Blood Falcon stood to make a toast before the food appeared and everyone was settled.

"To Remus Lupin, and his two lovely brides. He is by far a very lucky man, whom I am very jealous of, and we all wish him the best of luck." The audience applauded, and Blood Falcon sat down. Next came Sirius.

"Remus, my dear friend, I... " He looked like he was trying not to cry. "I wish James and Lily were here to see you. I know they would be as proud as I am." With that he walked over to his best friend and gave him a huge bear hug.

Emerald Moonlight was the next to stand, to give a toast.

"I'd just like to say, that Diamond, and Sree are most certainly the luckiest ladies I know. They got one of the best guys ... *sniff* I've also ever known. And I'd *sniff* just like to say *sniff sniff* congratulations." She leaned over and hugged Sree pretty tight, then hugged Diamond and Remus at the same time. When she sat back down, she was dabbing her eyes with her hanky.

Albus Dumbledore was the final person to stand and make a toast.

"I would just like to say, that on this day, October thirty-first, the year two thousand three, one of my best students, and dearest friends, has made his house richer. I congratulate you." There was a round of applause. "Now let's eat."

The tables filled themselves with food and wine. Everyone ate, and talked, and many times dinner was interrupted by the clanging of glasses, which meant the groom and one of his brides would kiss. After dinner, they cut the cake, in which Remus, Diamond, and Sree did gracefully into the Dark Blue Chocolate cake. Although, despite the calling for by many friends, no one got cake smeared on their faces, thankfully.

Once dessert was done, the dancing began. Remus danced with Sree for half of the first song, "I Swear" and the second half with Diamond. The music played on for most of the night, people were laughing, Snape sang, although only once, and everyone was happy for the new groom and his two brides. Eventually, around midnight, the newlyweds hugged and kissed everyone good night, and went off on their way for their honeymoon at the Magic Kingdom in Florida, USA.
