Chapter Three

The Beauty and the Beast

One evening they walked towards Harry's flat, swaying every other step. They stopped to snog continually, leaning against poles. They even stopped to sing couple of drinking songs, and people looked their way ,shaking their heads in disapproval. It was obvious that their way home took more time than usually.

When they reached the flat, Thomas opened the front door and kicked in shut after them. "I know what I'll do to you, Potter," Thomas said huskily, dragging Harry to the bedroom.

***

Thomas opened his eyes, blinking a few times. The sun peered to the room from a small window, blinding him completely. He turned to look at the man who was sleeping peacefully next to him. He was about to wake Harry up when he suddenly halted. Quickly he rose from the bed, making his way to the bathroom.

"Shit!" he cursed quietly. His hair was blond again. How can I be so careless!? As quietly as possible, he sneaked from the bathroom, picking all his clothes from the floor as he walked to the living-room. He still hadn't found his wand, and if he didn't find it on time, Harry would be surprised to find him instead of Thomas.

He looked everywhere for his wand, and he was kneeling down on the floor looking under the couch for it, when suddenly all went black.

***

He felt someone slap his face when he regained consciousness.

"Come on you son of a bitch. I know you are awake."

Draco groaned, his head hurting. He opened his eyes and found furious looking Harry staring him in the eye. He didn't dare to move from his spot.

"I'm glad you chose to grace me with your presence," Harry sneered at him.

"This isn't what you think, Harry," he spoke softly.

"Isn't what I think! How would you know what I think! And don't you dare call me Harry like you knew me!" Harry shouted, his eyes flaming bright green with fury.

"Sorry."

"Sorry! You are sorry! Don't you have anything else to say?! You have been lying to me for weeks and now you tell me you're sorry!" Harry paced in front of him, never taking his eyes of his. "I knew your name wasn't Thomas, and there was always something weird about you that I couldn't put my finger on. All that makes perfect sense now." Harry had calmed down a bit, and sat down.

All Draco wanted was to tell Harry how sorry he was, but he knew that it didn't matter anymore. Harry would not believe or forgive him, he knew that.

"Harry, I--"

"Shut up!" Harry roared, his anger flaring up again. "Get out," he said, his voice full of poison.

"But--"

"GET OUT NOW!" Tears were running down Harry's cheeks. "You got what you wanted, Malfoy. Now get OUT of my HOUSE!" Harry grabbed Draco, dragging him to the front door. Opening the door, he hauled him outside. "Be sure that you never show your face here again." With that, Harry slammed the door shut.

Harry sat down at his desk. Sighing, he rubbed his tired eyes. He had not been able to sleep for a few days, since he had thrown Draco out.

He had found Draco's wand under the couch. He twiddled it in his hands, thinking that he really should give it back to him, but in some level, he wanted Draco to come and get it himself.

He had really liked Thomas, but now that he knew it had been Draco . . . it really didn't make a difference. He was still falling for the guy he had got to know over the past few weeks.

He was supposed to go for a raid in a half an hour, but he felt like he was supposed to be somewhere else.

Making up his mind he pocketed the wand as he stood up, walking into his boss' office.

"What is it, Potter?" Harry's boss, Mr Hackley, asked.

"Can I have a day off, sir?"

Mr Hackley raised his eyebrows, never had Harry asked for a leave. "If you can find someone to replace you on the upcoming mission, you can have your day off."

"Thank you, sir," Harry replied with a firm nod, smiling.

He hurried out and down the corridor to Ron's office where he knew the said person was doing the most hated paper work.

"Ron, can you do me a favour?" he asked as soon as he opened the door.

Ron lifted his gaze from the papers in front of him. "Anything, mate, just name it."

"I have taken the rest of the day off, so can you take my place on the mission, that is supposed to start in thirty minutes?" The words rushed out of Harry’s mouth as he fidgeted nervously, waiting to hear Ron's response.

Ron smiled knowingly. "Is it because of Thomas?"

"No, Draco Malfoy." Harry smiled happily, taking off soon as possible, he didn't see the look of horror and confusion on Ron's face.

"Harry, wait! What did you mean by that!" Ron shouted after Harry, but he didn't hear him anymore.

"Damn!" Ron kicked the doorframe, cursing some more when the pain shot through his toes.
