A Living Nightmare or a Sweet Dream

Ginny boarded the train silently and fond an empty compartment. She was going to wait till Hermione came to see her. Hermione was Ginny's one true friend at the moment. She always looked out for her. Ginny was overjoyed when she found out Ron had come to his senses and asked her out. That was a happy day for everyone. It was different when Harry broke the news that he was going out with Luna. Ginny remembered it perfectly.

*Flashback*

He told everyone the last day of school. They were all in the common room waiting to hear Harry's big news. Ginny wanted to talk to Harry after. She wanted to tell him she had feelings for him. When Luna went over to Harry's side and gave him a small kiss, Ginny's heart broke into a thousand pieces. Her whole body began to tremble and shake. Hermione looked at her and seen the pain in her eyes and knew what was going on. She quietly got up and walked over to Ginny. "I'm going to take Ginny to the Hospital Wing," she announced. "She doesn't look to good."

"But don't you want to hear our news?"

"I already know. Congratulations Harry." Really Hermione wasn't thrilled. She knew how Ginny felt and knew that Harry himself knew. Why he would go out with her best friend was beyond her. She took Ginny away and found an empty class room were Ginny cried herself to sleep on Hermione's shoulder.

*End of Flashback*

Lost in thought, Ginny didn't hear someone enter her compartment. She only realized when the person was right in front of her. "Earth to Ginny."

"Hello Hermione. I want to talk to you about something."

"Ok."

Before Ginny knew it she had told Hermione the whole story about Draco Malfoy. She even mentioned that she was excited to see him at Diagon Alley.. "You like Malfoy?!?"

"No I don't like him. I don't know what to do."

"Well I do. Go talk to him, then maybe you won't have to pretend to be going out." She winked at Ginny.

"I don't want to go out with him. I won't."

"So you'll let Harry think that you still like him. This would be a good wake up call for him."

"Yah. I hear that he and Luna might be reaking up."

"Oh yah. You don't know. Luna came into the house crying when you were upstairs. She said that Harry didn't want to discuss this article in the Quibble. Oh what was it called? I can't remember so anyways she was so upset over nothing and complaining about Harry to me so I asked her why she was with him. She said she was because he intrigued her. He was a mystery and she wanted to explore it. It's one of the weirdest reasons to go out with someone."

"Yah I have to agree with you." 'Whoa, this is interesting,' Ginny thought.

"So then I talked to Harry and he said he thought he loved her but she gets on his nerves too much for it to be love. I have no clue what it was then because it defiantly couldn't have been lust."

"Defiantly not."

"Anyways, he went on about how he didn't know what to do and asked for advise. Well I didn't know what to say so I told him to wait it out. Knowing the two of them it won't last very long. But I still don't think you should get your hopes up. You deserve someone better then Harry. Someone who pays attention to you."

"Yah I know that. It's too bad that Harry and Luna aren't working out. They seemed happy."

"They did, didn't they. Even the happiest couples have problems."

"Just like you and Ron, right?"

"Yah, exactly."

"I'd better go and look for Draco. I want to talk to him. I know his a really jerk to you guys and all but there is just something that drawing me to him."

"I know what that's called. Lust!"

"Hahaha, you are hilarious," Ginny replied while rolling her eyes.

"Well I do try. Good luck Gin. Hope you quest for lust works out." Hermione was now smiling from ear to ear looking at an unhappy Ginny.

"It's not lust!"

"What's not lust?" Ron asked well he poked his head in the compartement.

"Nothing," the girls said in unison.

"You sure?"

"Yes we are Ronald Weasley. Now I'm going to leave you two alone. Try not to be boring and spend the whole time talking." She winked at them and left the compartment on a mission to find Draco. This wasn't too hard being as the first compartment she looked in was the one he was in. All alone. 'This is perfect,' Ginny thought.
