"You have become
What you always have been
Life figuring out
Rephrase your vision
No words I can speak
A path should been chosen
All trembling track
She lead us back and here
The guts are"

Harry lay on his bed, tears streaking down his face. He was still in shock from what Hermione had just told him. He couldn't believe it! How could her parents do that to her? The only thing he knew was that she was not his to love anymore. Harry felt so lonely, like a piece of his heart had been ripped out. It was like re-living Sirius's death again. Wallowing in self-pity was all he had been doing that day. He closed his puffy, red eyes and tried to sleep, but he was once again reliving that moment in his head.

"Harry, I need to talk to you," Hermione had said at breakfast that day.
"Okay," Harry responded uncertainly.
She nodded and then flounced off to the library to study for the N.E.W.T.S. again.
"My god! Hermione's never going to enjoy her last year of Hogwarts if she keeps hiding out in the library!" Ron exclaimed. Harry just nodded his head in agreement. It was better to not speak if Ron's ranting on about Hermione's studying habits. Besides, he had other things to think about. The last Quidditch game of the season was tomorrow: Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. Harry was still deep in thought, and Ron was still ranting on about studying when breakfast had finally ended.
"I'm going to go get Hermione from the library, mate," Harry said to Ron. Ron didn't reply, because he was to busy chatting up Luna. They're going to make a great pair if Ron gets the nerve to ask her out! Harry smiled at the thought as he headed towards the library.

Hermione was deep in thought when Harry reached her in the library.
"Hello?" Harry asked to get her attention. Hermione looked up.
"Oh, hey, Harry."
"So, what was it that you wanted to talk about?" Harry questioned. Hermione looked startled.
"Follow me," she said.

"Love comes again
Just when I booked in none of her
Love can come again
You gotta believe that
Love comes again
Just when I booked in none of her
Love can come again"

Harry rolled over on his side when he heard the door to the boys' dormitory open. He didn't want anyone to see him in this state. He was debating over closing the bed hangings, but he heard the footsteps coming closer and knew that he wouldn't have the time. He shut his eyes and pretended like he was asleep.
"He's been like this for a couple of hours, Ginny. I dunno what you can do to help. Whatever Hermione told him has really screwed him up," Ron said. Ginny was silent, surveying Harry.
"Well," Ginny said in a soft voice, "whatever happened, he has got to get out of this state before the last Quidditch match." Ron nodded his head in agreement. "The only problem is that I can't do anything until I find out what got him like this in the first place." Ron looked worried; he really didn't want to have to forfeit the match because their seeker was having an emotional break down and therefore couldn't play. He could just imagine Malfoy's reaction to this. "First of all, I'm going to ask Hermione what she did to Harry," Ginny continued as Ron nodded in agreement. "Then, we'll take it from there." She looked at Harry with worry written all over her face. Ginny finally turned around, and headed for the girls' dormitory. Ron was still standing next to Harry. I hope he's all right, Ron thought. Since he couldn't figure out anything to say to Harry, he walked out of the room.
Once Harry was sure they were both gone, he rolled onto his back. At least I know I will always have them.

Hermione was practically dragging Harry towards the lake. Harry was silent; he didn't know what was going to happen. Once they got there, he proceeded to kiss Hermione. She turned her head away before he started.
"What's wrong, 'Mione?" Harry asked. Hermione was looking at the ground.
"Harry," Hermione said, timidly.
"What is it?" Harry asked with concern.
"I...I...I have to b-break up with you." Hermione was getting teary eyed. Harry was just stunned.
"W..Wh...What?"
"I s-said. I h-have to b-b-break up w-with y-you." She was letting the tears flow freely now. Harry was still stunned. It was as though his heart had just been frozen.
"W-Why?" Harry asked.
"My parents. I've discovered that I was already set-up to marry someone against my will. It was like this since my birth." Hermione looked at Harry. Tears were streaming out of her brown eyes. "I was never meant to love anyone. My marriage was already planned out." Harry was silent, as he felt his heart being shattered inside of him. They looked at each other, knowing that it was goodbye.

"Deep within me
Turn all the secret stones
Voice of fields
Breathing when love holds
Still no word we can speak
A path should been chosen
But all trembling track
She lead us back and here
The guts are"

Harry heard Ron and Ginny speaking outside of the dormitory. Harry wished he had someone whom he could confess everything to. He stood up and went into the bathroom to wash his face. The cold water shocked him back into reality. He walked over and grabbed his Firebolt. He was starting towards the door when he remembered that the match against Slytherin was tomorrow. He set his Firebolt back down, deciding to go and talk to Ron about everything. When he came to the door, he didn't hear any voices. He opened the door and saw Ron.
"Ron, I really need to talk to you."

"Wow. So that's why you were like that," Ron said after Harry confessed it all.
"Yep. So, how's it going with Luna? I saw you talking to her this morning during breakfast." Ron blushed a deep crimson.
"We're going on the next Hogsmeade trip together."
Harry was shocked. Ron! His mate, Ron! Asking Luna on a date! The earth has to have stopped rotating by now if this has happened! They were talking about what Ron should do when they saw Ginny come up the stairs. Harry turned around to greet her, when he realized how pretty she was. Her chocolate brown eyes and her flaming red hair. Harry realized that Ginny was staring at him too. He blushed all the way into his hairline. Ron looked at the two of them, and smiled. He nudged Harry.
"Ginny, d-do you want to g-go on a date after lunch today?" Harry stammered out. Now it was Ginny's turn to blush crimson, so that her face blended in with her hair.
"Sure." Harry smiled for the first time that day.
